I like the location, it's just right the corner of JR Kumamoto station; even with my big luggage, it takes no more than 7-10mins; depending on 1 traffic light we need to cross. And its very safe cos there is a small Police post beside the hotel. Check in very brief; they already have our reservation; and the hotel provides amenities at the lobby; so, you just take what you need. Breakfast was open air at the lobby, which serves quite a fair share of buffet of Japanese breakfast. I like the concept that the locals practice; after each meal; they would clean up the table for the next guests. Room is spacious and on my floor there is a vending machine for drinks as well.

Nothing so far.

The location is very near to the station. The room we had was a double room, and the bed is firm and the duvet is warm. There is a coffee machine, ice machine, water dispenser in the lounge on the first floor. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of dishes to choose from and also bread. There are coin operated washing machines and dryers too on 1st floor. Overall, it is good value for money.

The decoration of the room. There is a huge clock above the tv, a standing light fixture with 2 bulbs: one can be dimmed, but with a cover almost as big as a football, and the other can be bent which perhaps is meant for reading. The double bed is placed against the wall, and there is not much room left. There is no suitcase stand and slipers are thin.

next to Kumamoto station. Self served breakfast while looked simple were full of variety and very efficient - food replaced, place cleaned up as soon as guests leave. This is not a luxury stay but stay here for convenience. Would definitely stay with the chain if they all run like this

maybe the elevators could be prioritized or something. A lot of people traffic and while they have 4 elevators, makes it hard when all service top to bottom but really this is a well run place, very efficient.

The hotel is located next to Kumamoto train station, tram station, department store so it's super convenient location. Room is ordinary Japanese size but contained all you'll need and very clean. The view from my room (17th floor)​is superb! You can lie in the bed and see Kumamoto city day and night vibes. Free breakfast is available at hotel lobby with was not enough capacity, so they provided food container to have breakfast at your room. A female receptionist is really helpful, she can't speak English well so we use Google translator but her attitude is great Parking lot is automatic parking building with additional fee 500 yen per night. Overall is great value. Recommend!

The hotel location is right beside the Kumamoto train station and definitely a plus point to have one thing less to worry about when planning itineraries. The breakfast area is at the open dining hall adjacent to the lobby; and the open dining hall was free for guests to hang around or eat food which we bought from the supermarket and shops nearby. The room was really spacious for Japan standards. There's a free drinks bar at the lobby as well.

Just a few steps from Kumamoto JR station to this hotel. Also, the car rental service is very close. The best choice if you wish to travel to Aso mountain the next day. I love the skincare set they provided (DHC brand). It's really nice! Their moisturizer revives my skin from the very cold and dry weather. Breakfast is a must! It is not much fancy. Just only the curry rice, 2-kinds of soup, bread and jam, and some Japanese side dishes. However, it's free! Combined with the room price. You can also bring the package if you have no time to sit in. It is worth every dollar you spend on the room price!

Very long queue for check-in at the counter during peak time. Not many convenience stores nearby the hotel. Be sure to prepare your supply if you are often hungry at night.

The staff are very helpful, especially the young man at the front desk who speaks English with an American twang. He deserves a heartfelt shoutout for his cheerful demeanor and helpfulness. We didn't get your name, but thank you very much for your enthusiastic assistance! Our room was on the 25th floor with great view of the city. It is small and a bit difficult to manouver with out luggage, but good enough for sound sleeps. The location is of course a major positive. Right next to the train station and a mall, car hire shops from Nissan and Toyota available nearby.

The bathroom is quite uncomfortable due to no soundproofing and the size.

The location is perfect. You can go to train and tram station easily. The room is wide compared with other hotels in Japan at this price rate. There is breakfast such as bread, rice, curry, salad, and egg roll. Although it is not many type of food to select, it is delicious. The place to eat is quite tight, but there is a food container available. You can bring it to eat in your room or outside during your trip.

Very conveniently located a short walk from Kumamoto Station. Staff are polite and efficient, and I was surprised that breakfast was included in the price (it was quite delicious)! Room was comfortable and well-equipped as well. Besides being close to Kumamoto Station, it's next to a tram line making it easy to explore Kumamoto.

We were fortunate to stay on a high up floor during our stay, which made for a dramatic view of the city lights. While the room was small, the space was efficient. The location is great, especially if you want to be close to the train station.
