3 adults on our first trip to Japan - this hotel is a max of 2 mins walk from Sakaisujji Hommachi Metro station, Hommachi Metro station and Nipponbashi metro station (3 different lines) - this means you can travel to just about any location across Osaka City with the Osaka Metro. There is a McDonalds and also a 24 hour supermarket (KYOHO) located right next to the hotel with loads of freshfruit (diced/sliced) milk, fresh coffee, etc, Many restaurants (Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Arabic) within 3-15 mins walk from this Hotel. Hotel is quiet and has excellent Laundromat facilities (4 washing + 4 drying machines) located next to the reception desk that can be accessed 24X7. All the staff are very friendly and there are absolutely no language issues at all..highly recommend it and would come back to stay here anyday of the year.

It is in a really good location. It is close to many major attractions in Osaka, as well as bars and clubs. Dotonbori is about a ten minute walk away, and you could walk to Osaka station to the north if you really wanted to, and many other shopping areas are close by. The room size was good for Japan, and had everything needed. It's a very clean hotel as well, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It also has good washing machines and dryers, and also serve breakfast if desired. Wi-Fi works well. The price of the stay is also really good for what you get. Lots of value added.

The hot water in the bathroom would be cold at peak times. I think the water in the hotel is distributed evenly, so when many people are using the hot water at once (eg. 6pm - 7pm at night), there won't be enough to go around.

Loved the cleanliness of the room and had all the necessities and more. I liked that you could pick up your own towels and toiletries by the reception, and found the staff to be very helpful. The hotel felt safe and was conveniently located. I liked the presence of a smart tv in the room.

The room was smaller than I expected but everything else made up for it. I wish there was more option to request more regular cleaning without a fee, as I would normally expect hotels to provide daily cleaning for free.

The location was great within walking distance of many convenient stores, restaurants and metros. The amenities bar was excellent we loved being able to help ourselves and replenish towels, etc., when we needed. The staff were a delight. Super friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend it. The common room had free tea, coffee and iced water, along with free ramen and Udon noodles between 17:30-19:30 which was a nice treat.

Of course being from Europe the size of hotel rooms differ. Japan have a lot smaller hotel rooms which is completely standard from an ecological point of view. It was not a problem at all, we stayed 5 nights and had a comfortable stay. We also loved how the room space was utilised having all necessary amenities and more like a fridge which is not the standard in European hotels, particularly Irish hotels, so it was a clean and comfortable stay.

1. The canteen - robot draft beer and hot chocolate are the best! 2. Location- 10mins walk to two different stations (north and south). Walking distance to nearby eateries and tax free stores around. 3. Quiet - despite backing the main road, we didn’t hear a thing on traffic 4. Helpful staffs - knowledgeable and good with English. Someone will always be there at reception no matter the time. 5. Washing Machine and Dryer - this is helpful for us tourists as we can bring minimal clothing to maximize shopping goods. No need to bring detergent!

My stay at the Hotel Sunriott Osaka Honmachi was extremely satisfying. The hotel is located in the center of Osaka, just a few minutes' walk from the Sakaisuji Honmachi subway station, making access very convenient. In addition, there are many convenience stores and restaurants in the area, making it an ideal location for sightseeing and business. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and modernly designed, and the ease of use of the bathrooms is particularly impressive. Breakfast was also varied, and I was pleased to be able to choose from a menu that included a mix of Japanese and Western dishes. In addition, free ramen and udon noodles were offered in the evening, which was an unexpected and enjoyable experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and everything from check-in to check-out went smoothly. I would definitely use this hotel again on my next visit to Osaka. I look forward to seeing the limited time seasonal events they are holding throughout the year. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a very comfortable stay in this hotel. The room was clean basic amenities. It had a common lounge with tea/coffee dispenser, microwave, toaster etc along with utensils. Hotel was very easy to find in vicinity of lots of restaurants and convenience stores. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Totally worth it ! Value for money !

I like the room but I felt it was little smaller. No place to open my suitcase. But I guess this is same for most of the hotels in Japan.

The hotel is like a luxury private hostel. Rooms and bathrooms were tiny, but this is part of the Japanese experience. Everything was really clean and the location was fantastic! Walking distance for sightseeing and leisure in Osaka and an easy train ride to neighbouring cities such as Kobe, Kyoto and Nara. Lovely cafes and restaurants nearby and staff were lovely, spoke good English and very foreigner friendly. A staff member named Jessica went above and beyond to book a reservation at a beautiful restaurant near Osaka castle, which was extremely helpful.

Just a 20 minute walk from Osaka's Dotonburi district, this a clean and comfortable business hotel perfect for passing out in after a busy day. There is a cafe/break room area on the second floor that has coin operated beer and lemon sour dispensing machines, which can be paired with a free snack option from the kitchen like yakitori or takoyaki as well as others. The staff were especially helpful, as my brother and I carelessly locked ourselves out of our rooms on more than one occasion and they were happy to help without any signs of annoyance or impatience.

The room was only just barely big enough for the bed and a shelf/desk for the TV and kettle, but that's expected from these kinds of hotels. They do not provide room cleaning or bed making, save for changing out towels and removing rubbish bags.

Probably one of the best hotels where I have stayed during my Japan trip. I received a warm welcome and a small tour to the lounge with restaurant. They have laundry facilities, vending machines, other necessary items that you can take by yourself near the reception and the location is really great to nearby attractions and restaurants. Our room on the 11th floor was quiet and nice and the wifi is good. I liked the service very much and they have free water, coffee or chocolate milk from the machine, free snacks and give free ramen or udon between 17.30 and 19.30 :)
