I like that the hotel is very close to a public transportation station. The location is also pretty nice. You have a bus stop just 3 minutes walk away and minami senju train station which is around 8 minutes walk from the hotel. The receptionist woman was fantastic and very friendly. She’s also can speak English so it is easy for foreign tourists to communicate. She also shows you around the hotel facilities and etc. The price for the room was affordable and I would definitely recommend it to any solo travelers first time visiting Tokyo. The room was clean but a bit tiny but better since you get a personal room rather than some capsule hotel which has less privacy. The toilets were also kept clean too.

I wish that the toilet has a bidet installed. Also the movement sensor lights in the toilet was a bit off. The lights would turn off earlier and the toilet became dark.

- Typical for Japan, staff is just amazing, really nice and helpful. - There is a spacious kitchen/living room on the ground floor. - I could store my luggage there for a day. - Enough bathrooms. I was on female-only floor and there was no problem with availability.

- They do not provide a duvet but a blanket. I do not know if it is washed after every guest so I did not use it and slept under my own blanket instead. Fortunately I had one. - Hot water is available only on the ground floor. It is a little bit annoying to take a lift for that.

My stay at Hotel Palace Japan has been really wonderful. Besides the affordable prices and quiet location of the hotel, it is mainly the hospitable staff that made my stay memorable. The staff are exceptionally kind, helpful, and welcoming, this made me want to return here next time in Tokyo as well. The facilities of the hotel are always very clean and the hotel is close to Minami-Senju station and various restaurants and supermarkets. You can even walk to Tokyo skytree or Asakusa in half an hour from the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.

1. Very clean toilets and shower rooms. 2. A space to myself for so low price and the entire level is for women only. Really nice and private. Value for money. 3. The receptionist is super nice and friendly and helpful. Jewel of the hotel. 4. Near to JR, metro and TX line(can't rem which cos I didn't use it) so super convenient. 5. Wow, like 2 7-11, 1 Lawson, 3 Aeon and a nice super market all within 5 min walk.

You can't beat this price/value for a private single room at lower cost than most shared dorm bed or capsule hostels. This is my go to spot in Tokyo. The room is very tiny but fine for one person work bed, small fridge, a table and small stool. Also a closet to put bag and clothes. WiFi is excellent to work inside my room. The shared bathrooms are spotless. The common shared space on the ground floor is also good with a shared kitchen and tables. They also have laundry facilities. Also a real grocery store right across the street (not just 711). Only 10 minutes walk to the subway station so you're then about 45-50 minutes subway trip to Shibuya or other sights.

Would be amazing if they had a a few comfortable couches in the shared common room to relax.

Great 3-star hotel! The closest train station is Minami-Senju station. Has a very nice and kind staff. Check-in and check-out process is quick and straightforward. Room is clean and secured. In your room there's TV and a mini fridge. Shared toilet and bathroom are squeaky clean. Bath towels are provided. Free water, tea, and coffee are available in the lounge area. There's a shared kitchen as well if you want to cook or reheat your food. Coin-operated washing machine is also available to do your laundry. Upper floors accessible by elevator. Wi-Fi connection is excellent! There is a nearby 7-Eleven, Lawson, and Food Market (just across the street). Safe neighborhood. Koban (Police) station are also a few steps away from the hotel. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and I will definitely book again when I come back.

The building it's not the newest one, however I'm rating overall experience for the price paid. It was clean and location was very good - withing walking distance to Asakusa and just next Metro/JR lines. Room was small, but it included everything needed, there was even a wardrobe to store luggage and clothes. It seemed to be more sound proof than other hotels of this kind. Downstairs there's a kitchen and a small common area. Additionally, a lady at the reception desk was an absolute gem :). Very lovely person and spoke English very well, she could give all sort of advice.

The room is small, but clean and bright. Heated by split system. The bed linen is clean and fresh. Friendly and welcoming staff.

It's a little cold in the hallway because the windows are open for ventilation. It is not comfortable to go to the shower dressed lightly. but this is temporary while it’s winter.

Very well located. Close to minami senju station and easy to go anywhere. The room is enough for what I need. The people keeping the place have been the kindest and I really recommend this place if you are solo traveling. I will be back at the end of the month as I needed a place to stay for one final day and I loved staying here.
