This is a fantastic place for both business and relaxation. I absolutely loved the ambiance and overall atmosphere of the establishment. The staff were not only friendly but also highly professional, making my stay even more enjoyable. The food was exceptional, always freshly prepared with high-quality ingredients, and the interior design was exquisite, adding a touch of elegance to the entire experience. Whether you're looking to get some work done or simply unwind, this place offers the perfect environment for both.

One of our meeting rooms was located adjacent to the Nairobi River, which unfortunately emits an uncomfortable and unpleasant smell. This odor is not only bothersome but also poses a significant issue for businesses in the vicinity.

I always stay at this hotel when in Nairobi. It is a small boutique hotel with very personal service. The breakfasts are amazing. Rooms are comfy, clean and quiet. It feels like a little bit of heaven in Nairobi. The hotel is very safe and everyone is very helpful. I always get them to pick me up at the airport on my arrival and I often hire their car and driver for a day of sightseeing etc. I highly recommend. The dinners are very good, but I do like to go out and try other restaurants when I am in town. The indoor and outdoor pools are lovely, but I rarely use them. I spend my days out in Nairobi seeing the sights or visiting with friends.

We had the penthouse suite (#25), a 2-bedroom apartment with ensuite bathrooms, a large living room and dining room and a kitchen (fully equipped). The bedrooms are amazing! The master bedroom is huge with a living area, ensuite closet and bathroom and the decoration is very nice. The second bedroom is also quite large (2 single beds with their own mosquito net). The apartment is just awesome! We had drinks at the bar with some food for the kids - excellent service! We also used the indoor poor - really good for laps. The breakfast is great - large choice in a boutique hotel style and excellent service. The hotel is not too far from the airport and in the State House vicinity which makes it extra safe to walk the streets around the hotel. There is a pharmacy, a small grocery shop and a restaurant very near (5 minutes walk at most). And there is a piano which can be used by the guests (might not be #1 selling point!). Overall it is really a great place to stay for families (I would also come back without children), the staff the awesome and we stayed when we arrived in Nairobi and before leaving and we do not regret it!!!

Peaceful, green, quiet.A welcome refuge from the bustle of the CBD. Lovely gardens and veranda. Three tortoises and a nice cat belong to the hotel, and a pair of hornbills came into the garden every day. We enjoyed sipping a glass of wine in the evening on the veranda, even when it was raining - very romantic.

hair dryer was only lukewarm. Duvet is inappropriately heavy for the season - we would have preferred sheets and a blanket rather than the duvet. We took the duvet cover off in order to have a light sheet over us. Lighting is ok but most bulbs are blue light rather than warm - it would be a lot nicer with the latter.

We were there to visit friends and be in this area. It was perfect for what we wanted. I’ve been to palacina before, it is a great place. We had a studio full kitchen. We do not want ac. I find if you have AC then it is very hard to go outside into the heat. Palacina also will arrange a driver and private tour to anywhere you want to go.

Everything was great. The last time I was at palacina they had a Swedish beef dish….. I was looking forward to having it again. The menu has changed. Menu is great …. But I’m still dreaming about that beef dish.

Excellent, very good location. The staff was extremely nice and professional. The entire premises was clean and maintained. Compared to similar rated hotels in Nairobi, the rates are fair.

They should improve on their breakfast options. At least vary what is served.

The staff are really friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to an amazing room and the food in the restaurant is delicious. The indoor pool was a pleasure to use and we really enjoyed the facilities. We had paid extra to keep the room for a late checkout and our flight was delayed, the hotel let us stay longer, which was really nice. Thank you for your hospitality.

The hotel was hosting a large group of people, it looked like they were there to attend some sort of conference. The group were very noisy and the noise levels were unacceptable at 3.30am to 5.00am in the morning. We were unable to sleep as the rooms dont have any sound proofing.

The breakfasts were wonderful. I had a large veggie omelet, beans and a ton of amazing fresh fruit every morning. I suggest purchasing breakfast included. There were tons of other options (meat pastries breads pancakes etc etc) for breakfast but this was my ideal breakfast. I had a Swedish mustard beef dish one night, that was to die for. Serving were huge. The hotel provided bottled water every day, in your room. I had a huge suite, even though I only booked a room. There were 3 lg bedrooms, full kitchen, living room and office. There were tons of windows, 2 beautiful balconies, and a tub and shower in my bathroom. I had a mosquito net and fan in my bedroom. No AC, but probably for the best. The room wasn't too hot and I was then able to enjoy the days outside. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool looked beautiful, but I did not use it. I had to walk stairs to my suite, not a problem. If you have walking issues, make sure you tell them in advance. The property has lots of beautiful flowering trees which add to shade, cool breezes, beauty and wildlife. We had tons of birds and monkeys on occasion. The hotel runs/arranges safari.

It is a great hotel / residence located in a nice area in Nairobi. Facilities are great with gym and 2 pools. Staff are very helpful and nice. The hotel / residence comes with a restaurant which offers nice breakfast.

There is no lift (not a problem for us). Also I think ventilation can be improved as we could smell breakfast early in the morning from the room.

We booked two nights in one of the apartments and had a lovely time. The apartment was very large, modern, clean, and bright. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was well appointed with toiletries, towels, and a large shower. I really appreciated the guest laundry in our building, which was very handy after a six night safari. I also really enjoyed the heated lap pool in our building. The property grounds are lovely, with lush landscaping and an outdoor dining area. All the food we had was fresh and delicious and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Palacina Suites!

This property has lots of stairs so it wouldn't be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
