The breakfast, and the hospitality of the staff

There were two things: The parking ticket system was a bit complicated if you wanted to go out and in the parking, cause you needed a ticket from the desk every time. The fire alarm at 5am! haha. Joking aside, the staff was very professional in guiding everyone out when the alarm went off and the issue was quickly resolved. They handled perfect for our safety. These things can happen at any hotel, and although annoying at the moment, having the staff act accordingly is best for all of us. There wasn't anything we did not like about the hotel.

The hotel was very good and clean. There was a lot of variety at breakfast and it was above my expectations. The location is close to the train station but a little far from the center. If the weather is good, you can go there on foot. Private parking is paid. There is a small car park right next to the hotel, and if you can find an empty space, you can park there for free.

Good facilities and breakfast, room was a good value.

Cost of onsite parking was high, unkept front lawn looks like an abandoned property.

The fact that the rooms were quiet and when we found out we had forgotten a toothbrush and ear sticks, they kindly offered us replacement items at reception. Also, the bar tender went out of his way to make us a special hot chocolate drink when we found out we cant have hot chocolate with marshmallows. The fact that the hotel is situated near a metro station (Handelszentrum/Moskauerstrasse) And near (5m walking distance) to a high quality, delicious fast food called Qui-Zin.

The floor carpet starts to show stains and gives a less hygienic feel. The shower needs some re-caulking .. ... and the shower door still has quite a big opening at the bottom, causing shower water to easily spill outside the shower cabin and the next person will step on a soaking (not just humid from the person before them) bath mat. Didnt like that the bathroom door closes automatically.

Our experience in the hotel has been great all through our stay. The check in process - effortless. Free breakfast - great variety and quality food. I wouldn't call the room spacious, but it is enough and has everything one might need. Since parking space is quite limited around the hotel, we appreciated the underground parking possibility (at extra cost).

We found a Primestar group flyer in the room saying the hotel will plant a tree if we opt out of cleaning for the whole duration of the stay. Ok -- so we opted out at reception desk (we had a feeling it was the first time employee saw that flyer). Ok, so we got a QR-code to plant our tree (yay!). Then, a few days later we come back to our room tidied and made up. So what's the point in opting out then?

I loved my vacation at Holiday Inn Express with my daughter it was amazing. We were well received by the staff at the front desk he was so friendly and helpful.Another I loved about the hotel is their breakfast mmh there was alot of variety of breakfast snacks you could choose.The Hotel is nearby the train station just 7-10minutes, there is a park just opposite the hotel just incase you're staying at the hotel with children. The rooms were super clean,sound proof, well secured and had all the equipment required like blow-dry, ironing board,small kettle you can make your own tea/coffee anytime. I would definitely recommend to anyone 100% looking for a hotel to stay in Dusseldorf.

Great value for money. Reception staff were really amazing. Helped 24/7. In addition, they willing helped and the rooms were as described.

In the morning , there was a rude staff member named Catia made a scene asking me for my room number in front of the entire seating area while waiting for a seating place. In addition, in a completely separate incident the same lady was collecting pancakes for other tables and told my husband that although he is standing next in the queue he needs to wait because she needs to take a pancake to another family. The breakfast is self-service so I’m a bit concerned as to why staff get preference for other guests. This kind of staff related issues needs to be addressed. It’s quite disappointing.

The location was good in terms of accessibility to center. The parking had electric charges that were very convenient. Staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was very varied with good quality. Room had almost everything that one might need/ even extra coffee and tea.

The location neighborhood didn’t look safe as there were so many homeless people around.Though parking was mentioned 25euros but there they asked for 30 which was resolved after we showed them our confirmation from booking.com.Dishes of breakfast sometimes smelled not really nice.

Very nice, well run hotel. Rooms are well appointed, a little on the smaller side,but everything was working and clean. Staffed 24/7 with courteous staff,we arrived after a monster day at 3 am . Clerk even helped ne with my suitcase and brought them up to our room. Great and delicious breakfast buffet, staff did very well during high demand breakfast times. We c a n only recommend this place

Everything was great. I guess the only small draw back is the fact that it is little of the beaten path. Nothing that a brisk walk can't fix,you will be in 15 minutes at the grand central station aka Hauptbahnhof 😀

Close to the main railway station and not far from the city center. Cosy beds, breakfast included. Everything you need for a short stay, typical good hotel service. Good price for such service.

It was a surprise but the room we got was not very clean. Cleaning part was ok I guess but the room itself was shabby: the curtains had stains on it, the same with the rugs. Walls were far from white and need refreshment. We checked in late and were too tired to ask for another room, especially as it was one night only.
