The rooms were quite specious and clean and the beds were on the large side as well. All rooms also had a coffee machine which was quite nice. The staff were very nice and polite and the breakfast was very good. The location for us was great as it was a 3 min walk from the train station and around 15 min walk to the center.

We booked two rooms for two nights - on the first day of our stay, our room (superior room) on the 2nd floor was cleaned but the single room on the 5th floor was not. My father had to go down Reception to get a clean cup and more coffee. In the corridor on the way to our room, part of the ceiling was missing and wires were exposed - perhaps something was being fixed but it should at least be covered. The rooms had fitted carpets which I do not prefer.

The room was very spacious and so was the bathroom. The walk-in shower was large with plenty of hot water. There was plenty of packing space in the cupboard and drawers of the desk. The breakfast was extensive and catered to all tastes. The complimentary water was replaced every day. The staff were very friendly and extremely quick to help when I found the safe was still locked from the previous occupant. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the station but in a quiet neighbourhood.

WOW! a fantastic experience from arrival to departure. Management and Staff were so friendly, personable and could not be more helpful. They ensured that you had everything you needed and went out of there way to help with any problem you had. Helped with organising parcels I needed sending and never once did I not get a warm smiling greeting during my whole stay. Management and Staff also have a commitment to the community where if you don't need your room cleaned every day then 5 euro goes to the Children's Hospital. This is so commendable and shows how much they care. A perfect position not even 5 minutes to Dusseldorf rail station, shops, buses all at hand. The hotel restaurant is top class and prices very reasonable. So, to Christopher and all the Staff THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART FOR THE BEAUTIFUL AND SPECIAL MEMORIES OF MY STAY WITH YOU.

One could not love this hotel it great.

Much improved vs. our previous stay. New bathroom brought up to standard of 2024. Still excellent breakfast! While other hotels’ offerings keep getting worse, Leonardo gives you a great way to start your day.

Small parking garage and no reservation. But you can park at the huge Deutsche Bahn Parkhaus close by for the same rate via the hotel.

Hotel is 5min walk from central station. I had 4 big suitcases and it helped in just having a short walk. Also it made easier and stress less to go to the station on departure. Staff is very friendly, breakfast is served till 12pm which gives a nice flexibility. Checkin and checkout were very easy and rooms are very comfortable. There was a coffee capsule machine in the room. Although I did not use it is a good one to have!

In the room there was a bathroom with a small walk-in shower, but dimensions are not good enough to avoid water spilling everywhere on the floor. However, bathroom has a good exhaustion system and it quickly dried.

+ Lots of nice little touches that make you feel welcome; free water with lemon and little cake slices at the reception, free water and free coffee capsules in the room, etc. It's not much, but it's nice. + We had a fridge in our room and this is very useful, especially for longer stays. + The room was very large and was furnished with a big, long office - excellent to work. + It's very close to the train station (where you can find food even late and during the weekends). + Overall an excellent value for the price. + The staff was very nice, especially at the breakfast. + The rooms were largely soundproof. A nice thing when you come with a 4yo kid! + The choice at the breakfast was nice (but see below).

- The administration system is a mess. I needed a breakfast invoice for myself, not for my wife, because my work could refund my breakfasts to me, but I never could get it. It was apparently something their system couldn't achieve. - There was a bad smell in the room (nothing due to uncleanliness; it was likely due to the plastic the armchair was made of). - The neighborhood is VERY unsafe. Prostitution, people doing drug injections twenty meters away from the hostel, etc. It's not the fault of the hostel if the surroundings of the train station are so gloomy, but still, it's definitely a negative. - There are very few refills at the breakfast, so by 8:30 lots of trays are already empty. If you want mashed potatoes, get up early. One morning there was no orange juice left.

I had asked for a quiet room and got a very quiet room, nestled between conference rooms. The mattress was clearly new and nicely firm. The temperature and controls for it were good. The duvet was not too thick. The soap was gentle (I have trouble with a lot of soap). And that was the Howard sauna I've ever visited in a hotel (that's a positive thing!). All around great visit, would gladly start here again. Well located at the train station.

I'm not a fan of carpeted floors, rooms with carpet tend to get/stay kind of dusty. Maybe next renovation, I'd suggest removing the carpet :)

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel very much. The hotel is located in the center of Dusseldorf, which is very convenient for exploring the city and its attractions. The hotel has a modern and elegant design, with water and refreshing towels in the lobby. The reception workers were kind and professional, and they helped me with everything I needed. The breakfast was a great value for money, with a variety of dishes and beverages to choose from. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a large window and a soft bed.

The room was too dark at night, and the noise from the construction work was disturbing during the day. I wish I had known about these issues before booking the hotel.

Great location less than 5 minutes walk from Dusseldorf Hauptbanhof but at the quieter rear of the station. Massive rooms with huge beds and comfortable pillows. Air con that actually works, large clean bathrooms and good WiFi. Very reasonably priced too considering the Euro's were on and this was a late booking, also cancelled a room and received a refund immediately. We've used this hotel many times now over the years and will definitely be back.

The location was very good - 5 min from the train station. It was central but quiet at the same time. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious with a good shower. The complimentary water was a nice touch. Bar with good prices.

The a.c. was not working properly. It was making noise but it was not cooling enough. The night we spent there was warm but not extremely hot. It could be a problem in a very hot day. The hotel was under renovation and the noise started early in the morning. They did provide ear plugs at the reception though. The sauna was also under renovation and we couldn't use it. It would have been nice to know that during the booking process.
