We loved our stay here at Dokchampa hotel, we ended up extending our stay. We stayed in room 15, it had a nice balcony. Large room with a big bathroom. The bed was super comfortable with a duvet. TV worked well. A ircon was great. The breakfast was included in the price, lots of different fruit, fruit juice, coffee and tea, menu to choice eggs or noodles. Really friendly helpful staff. We hired a scooter through them, 150000 per day or 180000 for 24hours. We also booked our bus to Vientiane through them. Good location, easy 10 minute walk into town. Lots of marts close by. Highly recommended, we will be back in the future.

We were concerned when dropped off from the station as the hotel itself is not visible from the road. However, once you wander up the driveway it appears and is quite pretty. Large, clean room, decent bathroom, no problems with that side of it. Breakfast was fine. Host booked tours and transits for several people and it was a relief to see him there when we were checking out to move on to Vientiane.
We are pedestrians so it was a few hundred metres to the nearest restaurant and a kilometre or so on foot for us to the best in town. There are motorcycles available though so that won't worry a lot of visitors.

The breakfast was basic but very good, you got to have a choice of eggs or pancakes, and there was a large selection of fresh fruit. The room had a balcony with a nice view of the trees. The curtains blocked out the light sufficiently which was good for sleeping. The hotel provided tea, coffee, and a kettle in the room, and there was drinking water downstairs.
The room was crammed with an extra bed in it, which made the space a lot smaller. It was the same room, but the layout was not like in the picture - no table and two chairs by the window. The inside of the hotel has a very impersonal feel to it with anonymous rooms and blank hallways. The hotel is a bit out of the town, and the walk along the busy road is not the nicest.

Great view! Comfortable double bed! Quiet location Host was helpful in getting me a last minute tuktuk to the train station as taxi app wasn’t getting anyone.
A little bit of a walk from the main town on a dusty busy road. (Not too bad tho) My key literally snapped so easily as I tried to come home late at night. Luckily the host answered the phone and immediately came to help. They didn’t plug the mini fridge in so my delicious smoothie basically sat in a cupboard all day until I realised I had to plug it in. For some reason I had an extra bed even tho I just requested one.

Near the heart of what is regarded as something of a party city in Laos, this hotel was a welcome respite. New, clean, and spacious facilities perfectly situated close (25m) and accessible but not directly on a main road make for a peaceable stay. Our host was very kind and helpful with all of our transportation needs (motorbike rental, train & minibus schedules/ticketing) and laundry services. Breakfast was also included. The only downside is part of the building is still partially under renovation at the time of writing this review. But I’m sure the updates and changes will only add to what was already a comfortable and inviting stay for a couple of backpackers.

Hotel staff were amazing. Breakfast was delicious and went above and beyond. They were so flexible with the check-in and out, too. The bed was so comfortable with a dark room at night to get plenty of sleep. I was working, so I needed good electricity and wifi, which this hotel had, and isn't typically reliable in Vang Vieng (from my previous experience). Easy to organise bus and scooters, etc. Very comfortable, safe, quiet and friendly.
A slight walk on a main road to the city centre, but short and easy to navigate.

The owner was really kind and helpful. He helped us book our power-motor experience for way cheaper than other tours. They serve a great breakfast here everyday with coffee and fruit. The location was great for us as we had a bike (which the owner also helped us with) - we wanted to stay in a quiet part of Vang Vieng away from the parties so this was perfect :)!
Only thing was there were a few ants in the bathroom. That's all really.
