The hotel completely satisfied all the purposes of my trip. The location is perfect for my needs, tons of food around, bus station is by the corner, taxi is available all the time, nice coffee-shop is inside, and the beautiful spa zone. Biiig thank you to all the receptionists, you are the best! Very professional and beautiful! Thank you to the security team, they worked hard to open the front door for us 24/7 and smiling all the time. Thanks to the mechanic team keeping up the Jacuzzi hot. We had a great time and i definitely recommend this hotel!

Clean, nice size room with toilet and shower

Coffee machine plug didn't work well, worked sometimes but not all and we had to fiddle with it every morning. TV was difficult to get to work as SMART TV, had to get Staff to come in to fix and it kept reseting, so we had to continually reset. Had ROOM SERVICE(food) MENU in room but when we called to have it delivered, we were told they do not have ROOM SERVICE FOOD DELIVERED TO ROOM. It had 2 different extensions to call ON THE MENU, made no sense? If they do not deliver to the room it should be written ON THE MENU! Also the light by the bed had a switch on cord which was difficult to find and very short, and there was a switch on the wall between beds for over by coffee machine which was odd.

The stay was wonderful, rooms were comfortable and updated. Staff was amazing and understand very helpful. Hotel was not in a dangerous part of town with plenty of places nearby to eat. The hotel offers help with booking excursions which I felt was more safer than grabbing one off the streets. Breakfast although simple was delicious and filling!

My only concerns would be the faucets, shower heads in the room, the smell of chlorine in the rooms

Breakfast was plentiful and tasteful. Very good. Our room was spacious and comfortable but missed having a bar fridge.

The bar food could be better and there was no soup. Also the spa was not available but I understand it was being renovated. Check in could be a bit more helpful to explain the nearest beach etc. I would suggest a map of the area...just simple...identifying shopping, restaurants, beach and how to get to beach by bus.

The hotel is very near to small little restaurants and a 10min walk to some great bigger restaurants. There is a Big food shop also 10min away and on a good day 30min to the airport. The Red bus that goes to the beach goes and stops outside the supermarket and costs almost nothing. That goes to the hotel zone and all the beaches/clubs and if you want to go to the Isle of Mujeres. If you want to book a tour, the tour buses also stop right outside Smart hotel. The Mercado 23 and 28 is also a 35min walk away and easy to get too. Very safe area no problem at all and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Make sure you are not staying on the side near the big hotel air con as that is super loud and annoying and that you don't get a damp-smelling room. clean rooms and free water and a refrigerator, and a safe. The cleaning staff was very friendly and accommodating as well. The pool area is HUGE, the photos don't actually make it justice and got a lot of places to sunbathe. The hotel food is also delicious. I travel a lot and read these reviews like a hawk and I can honestly say this hotel was really good.

The Hotel Aircon in the hallway was super loud but can't be helped I guess. A tip for the hotel is that daily and hourly cleaning of the pool sitting area could improve, as some of the seats were muddy, had trash around them and the hot tubs were dirty as people had used them.

Room was smart, a good size and comfortable. We had fresh bottled water each day. The breakfast was a buffet and good value for money. The front desk staff were very knowledgeable of the area and helpful. Would stay here again. Excellent location for downtown. Excellent facilities if you wanted to stay at the hotel the whole time

Our bathroom wasn't great. There was hot water thank goodness but the light fitting had some issues and kept turning off. The phone isn't able to make international calls at all

The staff was great! We came here with a 2 year old and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. The room was decent size and the beds were very comfortable. We didn’t get to explore a lot around the area because we had tours. We needed to rent a car and was able to do it through the hotel very stress free. Breaksfast was good, with a good variety.

This was incredible value for the money I paid! The room was quite nice and clean. The Lobby was way nicer than I had expected and the staff were all great! They stocked the room with water and were happy to hold our luggage for us.

It was a nice hotel with a great location. Lots of restaurants close by very close to the mall of America. The continental breakfast was very good. The hotel was very clean and staff were friendly. The pool area was fantastic very nice I’d stay again without hesitation

Had ROOM SERVICE MENU in room but when we called they said they do not have room service (was not middle of the night, was around dinner time) Need hand railings to hold on to for people that need help going up and down stairs both inside and outside of building.
