It was located close to the center and right at the beach. It had a lot of common space with many options to relax. Room was spacious.

The beach at this spot was the dirtiest due to currents and waves at this specific “corner” location, compared to any other spots to the right. Staff didn’t make a continues effort to clean up, so couldn’t get into the sea here :( Had to go to near-bye beaches to swim. How the restaurant was run was a joke , waiters were ok though. Price-quality here was bad. Needs new management for sure. We complained about some things to the receptionist, nothing at all happened.

Pet friendly and the staff was so helpful. Our room was comfortable and the bathroom beautiful. The bar served innovative drinks and the food was fresh and wholesome. There were all kinds of people there - young, old, gay, straight, local and international. It felt like Key West back before it got ruined by chain restaurants and cruise ships.

Small tiny issue. The morning yoga class took place on the patio located on the roof of our casita and it created a bit of noise (I know yoga is quiet but it was the creaking).

Great location, simple rooms but clean, comfy bed, perfect sunset, nice beach, great pinada at beach, but please also read the No Gos below which are a lot!

unprofessional staff (no trained hire staff, not helpful, rude after some critics), fresh beach towels available only after 3 days even though the price for a standard room was more than 200USD per night, breakfast as lunch was ok, there is better food around at the beach and in town, very young staff at reception and beach bar who don’t care about their hotel guests (beach bar staff doesn’t even recognize their guests after 8 nights), impolite tipping protocol at beach bar which is not nice. Would probably switch to another hotel if coming back. No English at reception and bar and menu. Habe never seen a hotel manager there, if he or she exists.

I’m in love with this hotel. It’s directly at the beach front. Has very cosy cozy sun beds with umbrellas. The rooms are basic but on a very nice way and just fit perfectly into the vibe of the island. The food and service at the hotel is just the best! The stuff is so really friendly and helpful at any time. Also the restaurant of zomay has great food and cocktails. Anyway In the evenings zomay is the spot where half of the island comes to watch the sunset and sometimes they have some live music or DJs playing. Also a new coffee opened at zomay, so if you miss your cappuccino and a brownie the quality is really nice. We will definitely come again! A big thank you to zomay <3

We loved everything

Great location, stayed here with my partner and we both loved it. The rooms were good size and came with an air conditioning which was essential for staying in Holbox due to the humidity and heat. The bar and restaurant was also a 1 minute walk from our room which was very convent and the staff were all friendly and accomodating as they were willing to help us organise and find day activities, taxis or answer any questions we had. The bar is also located right on the beach and has the best views for Holbox beautiful sunsets, would highly recommend this stay to anyone wanting to visit Holbox island.

The location was excellent, a short walk to the centre. The beach club was nice, and the loungers were comfy. Having walked along the beach, it is probably one of the best parts of the beach with little seaweed, unlike other areas. Relaxing music played throughout the day.The food was good and good options for breakfast. Great spot to watch the sunset, and there was always a live band at sunset time, which made a great atmosphere. Would come back here if staying in Holbox again.

The room was very dark, and the patio doors onto the balcony didn't fully close. The beach club was expensive.

Gorgeous property on the beach! In fact, we think it’s the most desirable beach on the island due to its lovely palapa parasols, the secluded area, and the attentive staff at the beach bar. The rooms are comfortable and have private outdoor balconies or terraces. An ample breakfast is included and is served right on the beach. If we ever return to Holbox, we’ll stay here again !

Location was very good, you can watch amazing sunset from the beach and drink cocktails. Nice sunbeds in the beach, good breakfast.

The matress of the bed is strange. Is so soft that all your body goes inside, next day we had pain in our neck &back. Maybe it was just in our room but I reccommend to change mattres because hotel is quite expensive so for the price you pay it should be better. Also few nights we had very loud girls talking very loud in the terrace, of course this is not hotel fault

the stuff is super nice. thanks again gor helping me with my request! the beach area and the location of the hotel is also great. near enough to the centee yet enough away to have a calm and relaxed time. also they have nets all around the room so if you zre scaree of bugs like I am this is just great. thanks a lot. i will come back :-)

The grounds are beautiful. Mature landscaping, palm trees, and fauna. There was a lot of sitting options. Hammocks, chairs, and palapas with beach loungers. The beach and the water was the prettiest in that area. The sunset was absolutely amazing! All the staff were very nice and helpful. The restaurant and bar is a little expensive, but so convenient if you want a snack or a couple of drinks. The swings at the bar are fun! The food is really good. It’s not like some of the authentic restaurants around town buts it good. The room was rustic, no TV (not that I wanted one), not a lot of airflow. The AC worked well and the ceiling fan helped. The bathroom was average. I was a little disappointed that it wasn’t the bathroom advertised, but it was okay. The water pressure was great and had plenty of hot water. It was a nice room. I stayed in the bungalow. Reception was extremely nice and helpful. They can arrange tours and call taxis for you. They are there until 11pm. There are raccoons all over the island. So you will likely see one on the property if you are out and about at night. They don’t mess with you. There are cats and dogs all over the island too. You will also see them since it seems Mexico is a very animal friendly country. Overall, very nice beachfront hotel on beautiful Isla Holbox.
