This is probably the coolest place we have ever stayed in our travels. We love everything about this hotel, from the amazing breakfast that is included, the room size, the location (3 easy blocks to the city center), the cafe on site, wi-fi, to the ambience and the helpfulness of the staff, everything exceeded our expectation. The cafe on site is a kombucharia that makes its own kombuchas, and serves a variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes. Even though I am not a vegetarian, I ate here twice for dinner and really enjoyed the dishes such as lentil burger and gluten tacos. We stayed here for a whole week and just loved this hotel and the city of Merída.

We are on the second floor and the water in the shower gets pretty hot and stay hot. You may need to turn it off for a bit for the water to cool a little. It is a super minor issue.

The place as a whole is super cute and well taken care of, with small but comfortable and very beautiful common spaces surrounded by plants and a calming atmosphere. It's a traditional building styled with both vintage and modern touches. If you appreciate aesthetics you'll love it and its gorgeous patterned tile flooring (which is super traditional on colonial Mexican buildings).

Our room was nice and clean with comfortable beds, but some things were in need of maintenance: it was lacking on only a few (and truly superficial) elements like finishes on the door and some walls or a tricky sink handle. This matters only if your expectation is of something more luxurious, but for the price this is a great booking and would recommend.

Optimal location for walking into city center! The hotel is beautifully decorated: I'd describe as eco-boho chic, with bountiful pothos plants hanging throughout. The breakfast (which was included) was delicious, traditional cuisine. The room itself was simple yet comfortable, naturally cool but with strong AC and fan to endure the hot summer afternoons. The natural bath products were great too! Enjoyed the honey shampoo. Wish I'd had more time to take a dip in the cenote inspired pool. All in all, great value.

No negatives. It was quiet, beautifully decorated and comfortable.

The hotel has a very pretty — and surprisingly quiet — internal garden and pool. The included breakfasts were very nice. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. Our room came with a large balcony, which had a very comfortable hammock. Be sure to ask for a list of recommended stores with high-quality, local products and things to see in Merida — we definitely found it helpful.

The WiFi was useable but not great. The cleaning staff kept turning off our mini fridge when cleaning our room. We don't have any major complaints though.

Everything was amazing! The staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful . The breakfast was so delicious and the dinning room was cute, well decorated with lots of art and music playing. We really enjoyed the natural pool and the terrace upstairs. It was such a quiet place to relax after a day exploring Mérida despite it being on a busy street. My cousin and I greatly enjoyed our stay and will be coming back again. I can’t imagine staying somewhere else when we come back to Merida.

Kuka y Naranjo, was exceptional. The room was spacious and clean. The terrace from our room was a bonus for letting in fresh air and lovely to sit on in the end of a day. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The staff went beyond their normal duty, being very helpful, when my partner need to see a Dentist urgently.. The vegetarian restaurant, which is part of the hotel was also delicious. we ate there 2 nights out of the 4 nights we stayed. We highly recommend it. The position of the hotel is great and close to everything that happens in the Zocalo.

We loved the place! We had two rooms, both with balcony in the upper floor and they were both really spacious including a hammock. We felt very welcomed, the beds were super comfortable and the breakfast was good. There is free water and a very lovely restaurant (part of the hotel), where you can literally eat the best ie cream ever! For us the vegan ice cream was the best. They also serve vegetarian and vegan dishes, which might be interesting for some people, as finding restaurants like these are not so easy in Mexico. The staff helped us with all our questions, the location of the hotel is super close to the main plaza and still it is very quiet in the patio.

Having a pool was wonderful. The temperature of the water was perfect and the idea of an all natural organic pool is great. Unfortunately there is a compost machine right next to it (it does not smell, but it somehow disturbs the nice atmosphere). We still enjoyed staying there.

I loved the ethos of the hotel - sustainability, close to nature and healthy living. The location is great, perfectly safe, fun to see the non-Disney side of Merida. Parking was easy, staff were friendly, breakfast had healthy options and was delicious, welcome drink was welcomed. Comfy bed, great shower, beautiful room, beautiful gardens.

There was a bit of mould in our room but that’s because it’s the tropics. There is light coming through the windows so bring an eye mask if a light sleeper.

The hotel itself was beautiful. It has a lovely terrace and natural pool and the hammock in our room was a nice touch. The breakfast was tasty and the staff were really friendly. Would definitely recommend this place. Probably my favourite of all the places we stayed in Mexico.

The position of our room meant we didn't get much natural light and it felt a bit cramped. It is a 15 - 20 min walk to the main touristy areas but that wasn't a problem for us. I liked staying in a part of town where there are more local people around and we felt totally safe walking around.

The vibe was so relaxing, smooth jazz, indoor gardens. The free breakfast was excellent and healthy.The desk staff super friendly and helpful. Great air conditioning. Really comfy beds, bedding and pillows. Nice touches with organic shampoos and lotions, water cooler and insulated carafes. Location close to shopping and restaurants, public parks.Pretty quiet for sleeping. Secure entrance.

Could have bigger sign for locating.Otherwise perfect.
