Second time there in 03/2019 and 03/2022, room was better and larger and more modern than the one back in 2019. Same friendly and helpful personnel and good wifi reception. There is a restaurant in the premises with very very competitive prices!

You dont have any choice of breakfast. Everybody got the same eggs, seemed scrambled or estrellados to me, accompanied with either rice or pasta. Didn't have any option the one day were served with rice the day after with pasta. A couple of bananas in the fridge, plane and choco/cocoa puffs. This isnt the same breakfast served exactly 3 yrs ago. You dont have any other option when booking this hotel. They simply shove you the breakfast, which I am definite, it doesn't worth more than $20MXN. Three years ago, breakfast was awesome with lots of choices and buffet type! Better offer an option to the customers to opt out the breakfast.

Great location, staff was very friendly and helpful, nice room overlooking the pool area. There is good parking and even an elevator which is great when dealing with heavy luggage.

For a region with such exceptional food the complimentary breakfast is extremely poor.

This hotel has the bones of history as its owned and operated by a local family. And after a few days the staff become your family too. They suggest places to go, what to see, and if you have been here before, they give you all the updates. When touring the sites of this busy city, its nice to come back to a place that's quiet, where you can dip into the pool, listen to the birds, or read a book. Holidays are about having a safe place to stay, so you always can come 'home'. If you are looking for a resort experience find a beach. If you are looking for an experience that melds you with the spirit of Mexico then this place will give you a good head start.

This time of year the pool is a little cold and i am sure the locals must smile at us who jump into the cold water for a refreshing respite. The breakfast in the morning is a surprise. Take it or leave it. Hot coffee, cereal, and juice are fine but you may want to jump ship one day and try a breakfast in the many restaurants around the areas.

The room was clean and comfy, a bit outdated, but great for its price. The hotel surroundings on the street is a bit noizy, but at room not much to hear. Dirty pool did not looked atractive for swimm and breakfast became worse than was before. Bed sheets looked grey and rough. Coming here since 2019, so far worst exspirience so far, hope for improvement. Recommend to stay while you on particular budget.

It was clean with a hardworking, friendly staff. The room was very large with 2 chairs, 2 rocking chairs, a small table and 2 beds. There is an elevator. The little restaurant in the center courtyard is open from 1-9 pm and serves basic fare, ie: burgers, quesadillas, and pizza, which is very good and inexpensive.

The room was in need of some repairs, but overall comfy. The outside tables and chairs near and at the pool could use a good cleaning and perhaps wiped down every morning. Just an FYI The walk to the square takes about 10 minutes because it is along a very busy bus route. Lots of people.

Everything was super, just a couple of hiccups but nothing that would change my mind to come back

For the price this can't be beat. We had a premium double on ground floor looking at pool. Huge picture tinted picture window so we could see oit but they can't see in (except at night with lights on). Good wifi and air conditioning. Nice, comfortable, very clean, large room. Pretty pool. Very convenient location. Quiet when we were there. It's not a 5 star hotel so you can't expect it to look brand new! This would be our choice next time. Free breakfast is decent and better than the continental breakfasts in the US budget hotels. We were served scrambled eggs both days.

It's nice that they offer some food and drinks at the hotel, but beware. This isn't a restaurant; pizza and quesadillas were the frozen kind and margaritas out of the can. Just ok if you really don't want to go out.

Breakfast was boring....same each day. They were very nice to make me two over since I have diabetes. Need fruit with breakfast to make it more interesting. They did have bananas. Ok if you are just there a night or two (breakfast) but we were there two weeks. Great location and Pool was freezing cold but beautiful. Was in the older part of the hotel on the side where the kitchen was....mattress great and very quiet at night and in the morning. Would stay there again. Staff very nice and attentive.

The location is quite close to the city center on a walk. We do not need to take our car. Free parking is provided by the hotel. Breakfast is average. The staff is nice. The room is spacious for 2 people. The AC works perfectly fine. Please, do not rely on the picture from bookings. It was supposed to be an old picture of the hotel.

I do not like the bathroom because the water from the shower is spreading irregularly.

Nice, clean and spacious rooms. Shower pressure was great and water was hot! Front desk staff were lovely and even provided a fridge for us when requested as we were staying for 1 month.

We loved our stay but breakfast was very hit and miss. Some days the breakfast was hot and tasty, other days stone cold and very little of it. This was frustrating as some days we sat waiting for 30+ minutes to be served our food when we knew it was sitting on the bench waiting to come out.
