WOW! It all started with the ''pre-arrival.'' I had some questions regarding a birthday celebration for my friend's birthday, and the lovely Federica was so kind and patient in answering all of my questions. Upon checking in, Brit assisted us. Unfortunately, the room was not ready, but she kindly offered for us to leave our luggage. When we picked up our keys later in the evening, we were welcomed by Federica! She was as lovely on the phone as in real life (I hope I am not mixing two Federica's ;P ) The bar was really nice; you had a lot of options and friendly staff. Later we decided to order some room service, and the gentleman who answered the phone was so so so friendly! He really took his time in answering our questions about adding things off the menu (cocktails). The room service was very fast, and the food was amazing! The homemade cheesecake and the cocktails were a 10/10!!!! My compliments to the chef and the bartenders. Lastly, the breakfast was very good; we were greeted by a silver fox, :) who was such a delight. After we were seated, we immediately were asked for our drink order and an explanation regarding the menu. You can order à la carte, or you can browse in the buffet. Overall, amazing hotel; we really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was really friendly and kind, and we felt the hotel really provided a 5-star service. I will definitely come here again. PS. The only thing I missed was my dear friend Coca-Cola.

Everything was wonderful. The staff is really helpful, everyone wants to make you feel great and they are really respectful. The room is great, spacious and comfortable, the TV has useful information and guest services can help you with everything.

The staff overall was great, and everyone from the restaurants, breakfast, check-in, guest services, laundry etc was wonderful. It was all great. However, the staff at the meeting rooms/conference rooms should learn to handle things much better. This was a leisure trip but on one of the days of my stay I was contacted by my work to help with a meeting, so I went to the first floor to get some work done and the staff there was very condescending, talking to me like I was a random person using the facilities for free, instead of a Marriott club member spending 6 days on a row at a 5-star hotel and getting some work done on my €5,600 MacBook Pro and €5,000 Apple Vision Pro.

The location and facilities matched exactly what we expected when we booked. We knew how close to the station we would be and we are familiar with the Marriot chain. But what exceeded the stay was the staff members that checked us in, Britt and Rebecca. Their friendliness and willingness to help was far beyond any expectations, they were incredible.

This is mainly our fault, but the breakfast was huge so we felt bad for wasting so much. We ordered breakfast to the room and hadn’t realised how large the portion would be, so unfortunately we wasted quite a lot. However the quality of the breakfast was great.

It was conveniently located across the street from Rotterdam Centraal , nice grocery store Albert Heyn one block away and railway station. The staff is exceptional, super fast fuss free check in and out no long lines Britt nice welcoming! Manager Desiree exceptional came to our room and replaced batteries in our tv remote. Sent coffee and personal wake-up to our room because we had to catch 6 am Eurostar train to Paris also sent along treats for on the train. This extra and kind attention is the meaning of true hospitality, she also has trained her employees the same way: while reading in the bar the bartender lady brought me some water with lemon, so attentive and kind Thanks Desiree we will come back your hotel is head and shoulders above all large chains because of personal touches!

Great location just opposite the rotterdam central station. We booked an executive suite instead of two connecting rooms as our kids are only 1.5 and 3 years old. We ended up with a very big room, we asked them to add the travel cots in the living room and we had lots of space and privacy so when kids are asleep we could still watch tv in the bedroom. We had a bathroom/douche with toilet and a separate toilet - very convenient. The breakfast was also very nice and we had lunch and dinner at the restaurant next to the bar, the food was very good

Well at the property every one on staff seem to be willing to help and work with us and make our stay very nice however I made the mistake of leaving something there we’ve been trying to get a hold of the staff again the shift that we were on did contact the staff and we have not heard back if they were going to ship my items I left there

Breakfast was a pleasure. Very courteous reception at the restaurant by all staff we encountered. Restaurant was well run, quiet and elegant, comfortable seating., not cramped. Chairs were well kept and clean and the service excellent as well as choices were very generous. Food was of good quality and nicely served. Fast and efficient. Only thing we did not like much were the big bottles of awful tasting Jam / Konfitüre. Chemical taste. Just not palatable. The Bar area downstairs was also very well organised and well run. Food good. The little shop downstairs is a great idea and practical.

Excellent location. Just opposite the central station. Easy to commute either by walk to city center or trams and metro is available to go further. Found the area just outside Central Station quite safe which is not a norm in other European cities. Excellent staff service at the time of check in. Special mention to Niya who made us feel very comfortable. She helped with the nearest restaurants and also gave an insight with the usage of public transport. She complied with our request for a higher floor. Thank you Niya. Breakfast was a standard affair. You will find the usual ones at the counter. But one unquiet aspect was they had a good spread of eggs which was make to order, waffles, pan cakes. All of these were made fresh and served on table instead of keeping it on the counter. That was a good concept. We can choose from the menu that was printed on the paper mat on the table. We were there during the tennis tournament week. Managed to see a few of tge players during breakfast which was a bonus.

Breakfast area is rather small. It can lead to waiting time if you come during peak hours.

The location is perfect just in front of the central station. The staff are nice and helpful. Ventilation and temperature in the room are comfortable and easy to manage. Very clean.

It felt more like a good 4 stars, than 5. The tea and chamomile bags were not replaced as we used them. The tv didn't work, although they came immediately to fix it (but still many channels didn't work, and the bluetooth neither). The bathroom ventilation fan was very noisy at night. Not a great view.

I have had an excellent breakfast and meat with professional staff there able to sort out any issue swiftly and on highest level. The location of Marriott beside with Rotterdam Central Station , and no need to use the taxi for reaching that point, there are just 40-50 meters distance between them.

I didn't like that on my arrive the reception asked me 50 eur deposit for each person (we was two) per night, that does approximate 600 eur for my period with Marriott. I rejected that ask and left just 100 eur, and get them back on my leaving day. That is not acceptable for clients, and sounds as surprise.
