The location was close to the city centre, opposite a well patronised park and had a decent view of the city. Close to a supermarket so getting supplies was quick and easy. Just 20mins stroll to the city centre.
The room was very clean and well appointed. I found the odour from whatever cleaning products were used to clean the room to be slightly overpowering although that faded after a day or so. My only other ‘gripe’ (minor) was that the knives weren’t overly sharp making food/meal prep a little more difficult that it needed to be (again, this is a minor issue and should NOT be show stopper)

My room was well-maintained and spotless. Having a washer and dryer in the bathroom was a big plus. The apartment hotel is well-connected by bus lines that go all over the city, and it’s only a short walk to places like Ponsonby and the Viaduct Harbor. Some coffee shops and restaurants are close by, and a New World supermarket is just down the block. I chose the location because it was an easy bus ride to the North Shore, but I found other reasons to like the area. It’s opposite Victoria Park, it isn’t surrounded by high-rise buildings, and it’s conveniently located without being smack-dab in the middle of things. I also had a nice cup of coffee at the little café next door.
I have no complaints.

The overall stay was amazing. It's points of difference are that it's near the motorway so its easy to go to. The parking we paid for was in the building next door, 2 minutes walk away. An added bonus with the parking was that we could come and go without having to pay every time we left and returned. Great! The view we had of Victoria Park and Sky Tower lit up at night was just spectacular. There is a large supermarket and many cafes nearby which is great for our early morning coffee/breakfast runs and grocery shopping. The kitchenette has a really good oven and cook top which we used when we didn't feel like going out for a meal. The viaduct harbour is a short (5-10 minute) walk away and there are some amazing restaurant options there. There were also really fun events happening there: The 2024 "Manu" Competition, which is a type of divebomb off various platform heights into the sea with the aim of making the highest and widest splash possible. It was so much fun.

We wanted a small, self-catering place near the shoreline and this was perfect, even better than we expected. Easily big enough for a longer stay in the future, which we will plan, with a very good kitchen (dishwasher and washing machine! plus detergents for both!) complete with decent utensils. The location is just a 20 minute walk from the harbour, and 20 mins in the other direction from Aukland's main shopping district, with a big supermarket just a 5 minute walk away. Everything was immaculately clean, the staff were all pleasant (even the cleaners in the morning) and one can see that someone is managing this place actively and with a conscience. Excellent.
The bed's firmness was 10/10 but I'm fanatical about firm beds, so I'd like to see them ratchet up to 11, but I'm struggling to find anything to criticise really.

Big, clean, modern, comfortable. Good little kitchen. It was a very hot couple of day and since we were overseeing the road our room had double glazing - but no opening windows. However, we were not sentenced to death by baking - the AC unit did a quick and excellent job. Good sonic insulation as well it was very quiet considering the road nearby and that all rooms around us were occupied, we didn't overhear anyone.
This is not the most ideal location if you are just there for a couple of days without a rental car, but we made it work

Clean, good bed, and washer dryer.
I checked in after 8 PM and there was no one at the reception. Had to call to find out about a lock box with a key to get into the lobby. The door for the hall with the elevator was not marked with a sign. Hard to pull to open - if the door was labeled as entry to the elevator and pull to open it would have been an easy check in. Also our room door didn’t open on the first night until after 4 -5 tries with the handle. The staff fixed it the next day when they got in.

One of the rooms we had booked was perfect for the kids to play in, lots of space, open plan and bright for the fact it was a 2 person room. The other room we booked was more suitable for a professional staying in terms of layout and space set up and overlooked the park. Liked that the parking building was very close.
The other room: the layout made for a darker area when combined with being on the south side. Also parking isn’t the greatest when you first arrive at the Quest as it is a shared driveway to other apartments and no parking on the road for when there are more than 2 cars arriving at the same time.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was spotlessly clean and was very quiet at night. It was situated beside Victoria Park and car rental facilities were very close by. Luggage could be left at reception while car was being collected. An added bonus was having a great view of Sky Tower from our room.
The only fault was lack of oven gloves for handling hot items.

Great little property and value for money - we had a 1brm apartment. It was not an overly big apartment but everything we needed was included. It was walking distance to the lovely Wynyard waterfront area. I wouldn’t describe it as ‘city centre’ but definitely walkable. Lovely little cafe right next door.
One reception staff member was totally disinterested and didn’t even know where the train station was located - all the other ladies were lovely.

Great view of the city! I liked that it was a short walk into town and close to a supermarket and bus stops. We booked a car park easily through Quest, the park was offsite but very close to the property and a secure location. The room was clean and tidy. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I recommend it.
If you are picky about pillows, bring your own, the pillows were not great! The room had Chromecast but it only worked some of the time (50% chance of it working).
