I had a wonderful stay at this property, which offered excellent value for the price. The check-in process was incredibly easy, making my arrival hassle-free. I stayed on the first floor, which was conveniently located right next to my car for easy parking. The hotel is surrounded by plenty of amenities, and St Kilda Beach is just a short drive away—perfect for a day out. The room itself was clean, with a large, comfortable bed and a well-sized kitchenette that had everything I needed. Overall, a great experience, and I'd definitely recommend it!

The only small issue was that there were DVDs available for hire, but unfortunately, one of them stopped working halfway through. It was a bit of a letdown, but honestly, it didn’t really affect my overall experience. What can you do, right?

Clean, good bed. Two rooms worked well. Thank you for the up grade. Kitchen facilities very good. Convenient parking. Nice and quiet.

The heating in the motel was inadequate for the time of year in Dunedin. The panel wall heater was not working and the heater in the bathroom also was not working. The small portable heater supplied was inadequate for heating the unit at that time of the year when it was very cold and wet in Dunedin at the time we visited.

This motel was more than adequate, similar to many in NZ, and completely met our needs. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. Despite being close to a busy area, it was quiet and without any disturbances. It is well maintained and kept clean. We were given 2 adjoining rooms, which was much appreciated.

When we arrived, no one was there to check us in and no one responded to the bell or text messages. After waiting for more than 15 minutes we had to go looking for someone and finally found them. Another guest who stays at this property often was surprised by the situation and vouched for the property. This delay was ultimately inconsequential and simply frustrating in the moment.

Very modern hotel, very comfortable, and most importantly, this hotel is very clean. We've traveled many places and stayed in many hotels, and the 555 Motel Dunedin is the only one that makes us feel at home. Excellent service; the front desk was very accommodating when we arrived very late. Four thumbs up!

Nothing, really. It's perfect! The only thing that we didn't like was that we had to check out eventually. We wanted to stay longer, but alas, we had to go.

The host was friendly and knowledgeable. Very easy to chat with. I was concerned the location was a little out of the way but a bus stop right outside made getting around the city so simple an more affordable than hiring a car! The room was clean and tidy, it was tended to daily with cleaning and fresh towels etc. I will be staying here again next time I visit.

Our unit was close to the road which at times was a little noisy but totally unavoidable and certainly not enough to stop me booking here again.

The room for 3 person was large and had ample space to place our things. The bed was comfy and the amenities were sufficient for our needs. It was opposite Woolsworth which was convenient for groceries. Had parking on-site which was convenient.

Our room was on the second floor and there were no lifts so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. If you have a 1st floor it wouldn't be too bad.

The manager was very obliging letting us check out but leave our car in the car park for the day. The motel is on a busy road but once inside and also later at night traffic could not be heard. Very convenient with a supermarket across the road. There is a generous supply of plates and crockery and a Pyrex type casserole dish with lid for use in the microwave.

There is only a microwave for cooking. There is no kitchen sink, the only sink is in the bathroom. The shower is wet floor type but not hand held. The bed was a bit firm for my preference.

We picked this motel due to the location in South Dunedin to our event. It definitely exceeded our expectations, the room was bigger than previous motels we have stayed. The bed was fantastic it was a huge super king and extremely comfortable.

My only negative would be to say the bathroom was looking a little tired but even with that the shower was still amazing and had excellent pressure, if we had stayed longer I would have like to have tried out the spa bath. All in all though still very functional.

Always a very comfortable place to stay in South Dunedin, close to where we wanted to go and easy to get to. Plenty of parking and friendly staff.

There was some food in the fridge from presumably the previous guests whcih was a bit weird.

Great communication from motel owners.We loved the location. Handy to everything we needed and close to family. Great shower. Very Comfy bed.

We were provided plates etc which was great but we werent sure where to wash them as no sink apart from wash basin in bathroom..which was cracked..just a cosmetic crack i'm sure but still..
