The room was clean and quiet. The staff at Ocean Beach were lovely and very helpful. They were also great about letting us use their laundry facilities when we needed rather than us having to go and find a laundromat. Room was decent sized and in an easy to find location. Wifi was included in price of room and easy to connect to.

Bed not so comfortable, I found it too hard especially with my back issues. The ensuite while not as bad as one in Whakatane (even my 11-year-old did not fit in the Whakatane loo) was definitely a little on the smaller side - would have been handy to have a basin that could sit toothbrushes on. Also, a small fridge to keep drinks in & a microwave would be nice.

Super comfortable beds with nice linen. Good shower and water pressure. Room service each day...fresh towels and clean crockery sorted. Cosy, easy to heat with heat pump. Easy parking, esp for larger vehicles. Local bar across the parking area to have a drink or meal. Very nice staff, helpful and able to sort out a broken toaster without delay.

The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were serviced daily. There was plenty of hot water for showers. The staff and manager were friendly and I recommend staying here if you are looking for budget accommodation that is handy to Larnachs Castle and city centre.

Sliding door to the bathroom was a bit noisy at night but other than that there wasn’t anything else I wasn’t happy with.

We ate dinner at the bar which was great and good prices too, the staff were very friendly, it was close to the beach which was beautiful, i would be happy to stay here again.

The bathroom was clean but small and basic, there was no kitchenette only a jug and some dishes so we couldnt wash our dishes after using them.

Always very clean. Perfect location to the ice rink which is why I always come here when attending ice hockey games. Bus stop is practically on the doorstep. Food is great across at the hotel. I've never had any issues with noise from there. The room is basic, but comfortable. No microwave, but fridge, jug and toaster.

Only issue was the WiFi dropping out at one point, but not the end of the world.

The motel was easy to find, in town, close to the beach and it was also quiet! The room was cozy, warm and comfortable. It had exactly what we needed for our overnight stay. The onsite bar was a great place for our family to relax and their burgers and seafood platter were delicious.

A very spacious room with a most comfortable bed plus an enormous shower with plenty of hot water. Well equipped and, with the hotel very near, no problems catering. Surprisingly quiet considering the location of the main road.

If there had been a small sink in the main room, or a larger one in the bathroom, the washing up would have been much easier.

Basic accomodation close to the beach, clean and tidy, comfortable bed, good shower. Pub on site so food and drinks close by. Certainly met price and quality expectation

Nothing to dislike, the hotel doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is .... good economical accommodation, in a good location, with a great restaurant

Very helpful host, friendly service. We stayed one night, it was fine for our needs, basic but clean and a very good shower. Bed was really comfortable. We had dinner there, well cooked pub food and excellent value. We would stay there again.

The heat pump was a bit noisy, fixed it with a piece of folded cardboard!
