Such a great location, and a walk through the connecting park was full of bunnies on the way to the church of the good shepherd, it was about a 10minute walk. we were lucky enough to see snow fall and blanket the town this night. We enjoyed the hot spa and attempted the 5-7 degree pool. the chlorine was high in the spa so dont stay in it too long or you smell of it, but worth it! The kitchen had everything we needed to do our own cooking. the laundry washer/dryer were handy. heating was really good

i stayed in the spa too long and smelt like chlorine but thats being picky, this place was really good

The house was clean and ready for our visit. We needed more utensils in the kitchen as we were planning to cook for the duration of the stay. Everything about the apartment is nice. its proximity to the shops, gas stations, highway and Lake Tekapo is very close by. I was hoping that this apartment is on the Lakefront but its not. If you are looking for something facing the lake, then Blue Water Peppers would be the choice If you haver senior citizens with you and cant climb the stairs then this would be difficult for them since the bedrooms are on the second floor

Small insects were coming inside the house all the time. The bathroom was full of them.

Very spacious, comfortable and very well appointed apartment. King bed was heaven to sleep on Great bbq Really nice heated pool and hot tub Very easy, close walking distance to lake, Church of Good Shepherd, cafes restaurants, shops and supermarket.

Attention to detail could be better. Oven door fell off and glass smashed Two lamps had no globes Showers in both bathrooms leaked out onto bathroom floors Lounges under cushions were full of food crumbs biscuits (not cleaned)

The unit was spacious and comfortable with a well-apointed kitchen, well-apointed bathroom with separate bath and shower and two WCs. The bedrooms were also spacious and comfortable. The views were excellent and the use of the garage was an unexpected bonus. The location was excellent within a five minute walk of the centre but far enough away to be more peaceful.

The propoerty was great but geting very slightly tired and could do with recarpeting. There was no air-con in the bedrooms which may becoome an issue in the hotter months. However, the unit was clean and well appointed and these items would provide even more icing on the cake.

We have stayed at the Mantra a few times - we like the set up for the rooms upstairs and social activity downstairs. Hosts were happy to help and impart local knowledge - the location is a little out of the township but still walk able and you are in walking distance from the church and lake - Thanks for a great stay! - Be aware there are stairs upto the bedrooms - but the rooms are comfortable and I enjoyed watching the snow-falling outside from the windows - thanks for a great stay!

Unfortunately the previous persons staying there had cooked a curry - a very spicy curry that i believe the smell permeated in EVERY inch of the rooms - as our stay was in Oct it was a bit to cold to have the windows open too much to air out the townhouse. This is not the error with the establishment - but recommend a can of glen20 or a gas mask under the sink may be an idea Cheers :-)

My first visit to this place was around 13years ago, not long after since the opening. I was greatly impressed by the luxuriousness and comfort back then. I was very much impressed after the visit a few days ago, as the place was pretty much how I remembered it. They have done a great job in maintaining the place so clean, modern and comfortable. It is a great place to stay with your family, friends or as a couple - great place to gather, and the price is actually lower than most of other places if you are considering a big group. I would, We would definitely come back again!

Beautiful attached unit outfront parking outside or garage was convenient. Nice private outdoor space with seating and bedroom balcony. This is a large unit, well equipped kitchen and seating, fireplace was nice.

The main queen bedroom had a great mattress but found the bedroom with two beds were not as comfortable for adults. We found them to be unsupportive and small. Both rooms were a great size thou. Wished there was a bbq also.

Great hotel, great location, very friendly and helpful staff. If i can give them above 10, i would not hesitate. With no hesitation best place to stay in Lake Tekapo. Very big appartment/house. Ideal for a big family. Very modern. Very well equiped. Very modern style with a nice terrace. Swiming pool.and barbecue areas available for free.

Great roomy modern apartment within a complex of other apartments. Perfect for 3 couples but would also suit a family. Underfloor heating in the bathrooms was luxurious and the apartment was warm. Well equiped kitchen and laundry. Spa and (outdoor pool which is not heated so closed in winter) onsite. Quiet and easy walk into town. Glimpses of snowcapped mountains, easy walk to the lake and attractions.

Spacious well appointed "townhouse' like accommodation. Well equipped. Stylish w/o being OTT. Ideal for couples, multiple couples or families with teens. Plenty of room to spread out.

There was an issue with the retaining screws on some of the staircase tread riser plates poking through and being proud of the decorative cover. The riser plate on one of the lower tread plates was actually loose and a potential accident in the making. It looked like previous attempts to rectify the problem had failed. The spikes on the carpet tack strip were protruding through the carpet at the entry to ensuite from master bedroom. One or two minor cleaning issues but nothing at all major. Easy to miss in an apartment of this size! Single car garage was marginally tight fit for our medium sized SUV and entry to garage in our particular unit was slightly awkward. These are all relatively small issues.
