We had a problem with our smoke alarm in our room and I have to say that the reception staff who came at 11 o’clock at night were wonderful. They couldn’t sort out the smoke alarm problem so they moved us to a room a big upgrade and we were very grateful. They also offered this complimentary breakfast and late check out. They couldn’t have been more helpful and I must thank the lady that looked after us she was great.

We liked the property. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about it.

This apartments hotel is very spacious, quiet and clean. Location is perfect lake front and close to shopping center of lake tekapo

2 things i didnt like about this accommodation: 1. They didn’t indicted that majority of the apartments require climbing many stairs. Mine was on 3rd floor and was very hard for me and other guests to climb up with suitcases 2. The staff wasn’t so helpful . I came to checkin on 1 pm they requested me to come back on 2 since early checkin wasnt possible. I came back on 2:30 pm and the room wasn’t ready. I waited for additional 30 min with other guest till we got the rooms

Where we we're located. Parking was close to room. Great kitchen to cook in. Loved the rubbish and recycling bin. Hest pump in top fllor aand bedroom. We found we didnt need them as the room was a great temperature. Peaceful.Entertaining top floor. Bedroom on lower floor.Bath. Loved the fact that windows or sliding door on all walls so could keep an eye on your car, lovely outlook across the park from kitchen, small window showing footpath in front off all units separate from parking, ranch slider had a vertical long window that opened to a deck with fantastic view of part of the lake and lake front shops pubs etc. Didnt hear a thing with ranch slider closed. And faced away from easterlies so quite sheltered.. All this on the top floor. Small desk, lounge, dining, kitchen. Lower floor bedroom, bathroom, door in and out of unit via your hallway. Windows don't get condensation and quiet so assumed double glazed. Mobile phones were kept updated with events and latest info on the restaurant etc. Bathroom robes felt soft and cosy.

Unable to find a docking station. Take your adapter. (We always do). Wall plugs were awkward behind bed side tables. No nets in downstairs room. Just drapes. Awkward as the room was on the ground level, a pathway was next to the side of our building which is not obvious as it is not concreted like all other paths in the complex.. But this guy walked down the side of our unit and stopped off to the side and appeared to be having a smoke as he was near our room, it felt intrusive. Had he looked at our room, he would have seen in. If this walking area was not supposed to be used, then maybe a gate should be between the fence and attached to the wall on our unit. Be great of there was a TV in our bedroom.

We stayed one night at the property - we arrived at the Lake mid afternoon on a sunny day so decided to do some hiking around the areas before the sunset and then check-in. Checked in after dark in winter c6pm. The initial check-in experience was not the best as were were given the wrong room. Staff were prompt to remedy that and upgraded our stay to a lovely suite for the night. The room was adequate - bit outdated but sufficed our stay for the evening. Staff were all friendly, you can get takeaway coffee from the cafe downstairs for the morning if you are not the breakfast type. There is onsite parking which is really useful. The drawcard for the property is it's brilliant location and the amazing outlook to the beautiful lake. Overall, satisfied with out stay minus the little check-in hiccup.

As noted above, check in was not as smooth, however that was promptly rectified. The suite we stayed in had an open wet shower with no curtains (therefore floors do get wet). Either put in shower curtains, or provide some additional towels for the floor. We did not stay long enough to try any other facilities on site, therefore cannot comment further.

• very close to the lake, eateries and activities like stargazing, petting zoo and horse riding • well lit at night if you need to get to the reception • 24hr reception • my room came with laundry machine (washer+dryer 2 in 1) • stay was comfortable and relaxing • reception has a lot of brochures of activities you can do nearby • silver river lodge (where you go for the petting zoo and stargazing) has a small entry point between our hotel to their location, just ensure you bring a torchlight when it's dark out

• flying bugs all around due to the lake so need to ensure you keep all sliding doors closed

+ It’s a very spacious unit with everything you need! (Washing machine, dishwasher, stovetop, sofa bed, TV, heaters, etc). The facilities are quite thorough :) + The location is very close to the gorecery shop and nearby restaurants. + The lake view unit is amazing! You can daydream in the morning gazing at the view while sipping up your tea or coffee.

- I found a dirty dish brush with lots of hair in it. - They could have given us more dishwashing liquid and dishwasher tablets. - It’d be more convenient if they provide us with sponge to wash dishes.

Location is excellent, staff were friendly. We were upgraded from a basic room to one with more space, deck and bath.

Information regarding happy hour times, and the food available was very inconsistent across different platforms. We booked this accomodation around our itinerary, wanting the tapas menu between 4 and 5 as we found advertised online. When we arrived we discovered that happy hour is 4:30-5:30 and that only fries are available for food. We found 3 different menus and times listed for happy hour. There is mould growing in the grout on the walls in the bathroom, and the paintwork in the room desperately needs a fresh coat. While this doesn’t affect my feelings on the resort, I would expect this level of detail to be taken care of when paying over $300 a night for the most basic room at a luxury resort.

Peppers has condo-style accommodation--very spacious and comfortable. We had a two-bedroom apartment with a deck overlooking the lake, full kitchen, and lounge area with couches and TV upstairs and the bedrooms and one bathroom downstairs. The configuration was a little awkward downstairs--after entering, it was impossible to get to the bedrooms and bathroom without shutting the door because the corridor was so narrow. The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathroom was fine--just a weird layout. Upstairs was awesome, but the furniture was a little worn--had the feel of a well-used ski-town rental condo. The staff were super-helpful--when our TV was not working, they sent someone over right away to fix it. It's a beautiful location--amazing views over Lake Tekapo, walking distance to everything in this very small town, ample parking, and a restaurant on-site that serves an adequate breakfast and basic dinner meals.

Super spacious and very clean apartment with great view. Close to amenities like 4 Squares supermarket and restaurants. Enjoyed our stay!!

The entrance to the apartment is shared with another apartment next door. The housekeeping staff who were cleaning the next apartment placed their bags and equipment right outside our door. We have just checked in and wanted to move our bags into our apartment but couldn’t because the path was blocked. When we were checking out, the bags were again placed outside our unit, waiting to clean the room after we leave. The door of the apartment oddly opens to a wall right in front and you have to open the door 180 degrees to move into the apartment. Didn’t expect the 2 bedroom apartment with Mountain View to have 2 levels. The lounge area is upstairs and rooms are downstairs. Not exactly suited for my elderly parents so they stayed downstairs in their room mostly.

Thank you for sharing such a wonderful accommodation experience! The bathroom was amazing with underfloor heating, good ventilation, and separate bathtub and shower facilities. Despite the strong wind, the curtains were thick and the room was surprisingly well-insulated. The reception lounge was also serene, clean, and very pleasant, and it operates 24 hours.

The bathtub was so large that it took a lot of water to fill it up, which was a bit disappointing. However, it might be suitable for taller individuals. It seems like the structure allows for a lot of noise from adjacent rooms. I'm not sure about the layout of the next room, but it appears the noise doesn't travel to the bedroom, possibly only when conversations happen in the living area. But no worries they were people from a country known for speaking loudly.
