Excellent luxury boutique accommodation with private entrance (half of house), very old historical building but newly renovated. The backyard was great - large private pool, dart board was a bonus. Inside all of the little touches made the stay very special. Very clean, new barbecue with side burner for cooking, frying, since there was no hob inside. Bathroom set-up is a bit odd with separate toilet room but shower was great!

A beautiful guesthouse. Very well equipped with great taste of design. Certainly one of the best we have ever visited over the years.

As soon as you enter the apartment you know you're somewhere special and in for a treat. So many small touches make it a cut above other accommodation and make you feel pampered. Many thanks to our hosts Martine and Erik.

All the little extra touches. Use of a pool was a bonus. Lots of outdoor seating to follow the sun. Quiet.

Some sort of window covering over bedroom and bathroom windows would be good. Maybe some instant coffee sachets.

Lovely thoughtful extra touches that really made it stand out from the average motel room. Spotlessly clean, private and very comfortable.

The fire alarm is directly above the toaster which proved to be a little problematic, but really only a minor issue

I highly recommend the Woodstock suites. Our suite was lovely and cosy, beautiful courtyard area, super quiet and peaceful, VERY nice king sized bed and soft linen. The heating system was perfect and we felt very comfortable. Martine was a lovely host, very welcoming and hospitable and the suite was set up with lovely homely touches and details. It was clear that much thought has gone into the setup with guests’ comfort being top of mind. I didn’t want to leave! You can’t go wrong booking here to stay and I would absolutely stay again if I return to Nelson. It’s also excellent value for money in my opinion.

Tidy and clean place. Definitely a 5 star premium stay with everything you’d expect at a 5 star hotel. Easy check in/check out with lovely hosts

Possibly too much chlorine in the pool given that white parts of the swimwear we used turned a yellow/green colour and wouldn’t come out even in the wash

absolutely everything about this property was brilliant. It’s like a hidden gem. Part of a heritage site nestled in the privacy of a well groomed back garden, courtyard and swimming pool . Martine was there to greet me and show me around and was available for any questions or problems.
