We were here for 3 nights as we were doing the Tongariro Alpine crossing. It was a 35/40 mins drive to the car park. The Chalet was perfect, walking distance from the town. The Chalet was clean and spacious. The beds were super comfy. There is a nice little outside deck where I sat and enjoyed reading my book. The kitchen was big enough to cook a full meal. We only made breakfast and lunches as we walked to the town for dinner all 3 of the nights. The most important thing was the 3 hot tubs- they are brand new and on our whole trip, we were the only ones in there!! They are massive and definitely worth a visit.

Nothing, it was great

The chalet was well outfit and clean, with thick towels, heated towel rail and good quality bed linen. The kitchen had everything that we needed to feed a family of four. Our family was able to relax in the heat pump heated open plan living, dining, kitchen area with plenty of space to relax. Even though we were close to the road, noise was minimal and did not affect our stay. The location is ideal being a quick walk to the free spa facilities that were also clean and the Ohakune township, just a 5 - 10 minute walk away. This was a great space to get away to and one that I'd recommend to families.

The oven in the kitchen could have been a bit more modern and the heated towel rail could have been larger to accomodate all the of the towels. But I'm nit picking and was very happy with our stay.

Spacious, warm, modern and comfortable for 4 adults and a night with an additional toddler. The office / admin staff were very friendly and flexible. Parking for 2 cars. Space for whānau from neighbouring chalets to come round for a cuppa.

Found an empty hershey choc bar wrapper in the bedroom drawer and an empty box of snax type biscuits under the bed - which made me wonder if the room had been cleaned under the beds. I did inform the office admin of the 'finds' We would definitely stay here again.

A spacious chalet with good facilities. We only stayed for one night to break up a long trip of driving. Having access to the spa was wonderful and amazing after a long drive. Loved all the bedroom pillows!

The air-conditioner was located in the open plan lounge/dining area (which was great), but the bedrooms did not get much of the cool air. This was uncomfortable especially as we visited in the height of summer. The rooms would benefit with some black-out curtains to keep the light and heat out when necessary. The bedside lights were halogen (maybe?) bulbs which were fixed to the ceiling. When using them, they were quite warm, almost like a mini spotlight, and inconvenient when one person wanted to sleep and the other wanted to read. Bedside lamps would have been more cosy.

Excellent new apartments that are well furnished, clean and tidy. Beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room for everything. Greeting as we arrived was friendly and welcoming and they were very helpful with some last minute changes.

Hot water ran out a little too soon for the three of us, even though its a four bedroom place. The walls are very thin, so if trying to sleep in one bedroom can hear everything from the kitchen. Would be nice to be able to use our own Netflix accounts on the TV, as the local channels are rubbish.

Beautiful accomodation. Warm and inviting with a touch of home away from home. Everything we needed was provided. Would recommend to anyone looking for excellent accomodation. I really appreciated management allowing us to book in late. It was awesome walking into our Chalet and the light and tv was on. A sense of home. Thank you.

Unfortunately the single bed was too firm for me but not to take away from the rest of the awesome facilitues.

Our chalet was a modern two bedroom apartment. The furnishings were great. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery, cutlery etc. There was an oven and dishwasher. The bed was cosy and comfortable. In the bathroom there was a washing machine and dryer. Outside was a carport and storage area. The Chalet was walking distance to town.

The reverse cycle air conditioning struggled to keep the apartment warm. It was minus 2 on the morning we were there. However, there were plenty of rugs to use.

This was a very cosy, homely chalet. They are mostly privately owned, but I liked the fact that there was a large box of toys that was left for my kids to play with. It's also a very short walk from the Carrotland Adventure park, which appears to have been a community effort, which is amazing. Ohakune town isn't much further on.

A huge amount of condensation in the morning, but that's to be expected for the area. I just made sure to clean it off and open the windows

Very welcoming and helpful man at the reception. Was great walking into a nice warm unit. Everything you could need for either a long or short stay was there. Was great having a washer and dryer available. Loved the décor. Parking undercover and room for the bikes was great, as well as a bike wash area. Great spas. Great location, and very quiet considering how close we were to the main road.

Was a bit of mould in the bathroom and bedrooms. Didn't like the cover/blanket on the double bed.

Apartment was clean, modern and had all amenities as described. Each had their own car space and secured outdoor storage closet. Short walk to town. Hosts were very friendly, helpful with local knowledge and, within reason, provide shuttle transport. 3 hot tubs and sauna on-site. They also had a bike wash station. Overall loved our stay and would recommend.

Our apartment (39) faced the road that had local and industry transport vehicles. Weekends were quieter.
