I must say that the accommodation is very nice. There is a kitchenette, drying room, and laundry room available on the floor. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms wonderfully quiet. The rooms are in a different building from where breakfast is served, and the breakfast is very plentiful. Transportation to the city center is accessible, but it doesn't run very frequently.

The room was nice, the views were gorgeous. Oslo centrum is reachable by foot.

For some reason we did not get a hand towel. Also the charging of ev was a little confusing as it did not stop the bill until the time limit or if you turn it off yourself. Some of the receptionists seemed a little lost with their job but they were very friendly nonetheless.

From the booking (hostel) our expectation was quite low (little comfort, cheap rooms) but in fact the rooms were very new, modern and clean. Room and bathroom were of sufficient space. It was very calm. There would have been the option to use the common kitchen on the storey. Breakfast was quite ok. The range from joghurt over sausage, eggs,... to salmon was fine. Coffee was not the best. Not luxury but simple and clean. All the hotel staff (students) we had contact with were very nice and supportive. Ah yeah, I nearly forgot....and there was even free of charge vegetables and cookies at the reception in the evening.

It's located more on the outer part of Oslo.

I’ve got a single bedroom and it was so nice! The shared bathrooms were modern and clean. Breakfast was totally fine - fresh fruit and everything you’d like to eat. Staff was amazing!

There are only slight improvements I’d suggest: soap in the bathrooms would be nice for hygiene, shared kitchen is a mess (thankfully I don’t needed it) and nobody really cared.

Perfect location for a hike into the neighbouring forest trail. The bed was extremely comfortable & shower/bathroom facilities were excellent. Very helpful & friendly staff that were on hand with any questions or queries I had, given I was travelling alone. The breakfast on offer was varied and situated in a spacious & very clean room overlooking the beautiful landscape below. If using public transport (tram especially) be sure to buy the 24hr ticket, equates to around £9. Bargain. Would definitely stay here again.

Not a huge complaint but site location is a little out of the way in regard to city centre, approx 25mins by the tram system. End of the line via the number 11 (stopping at Kjelsas) and another 15min walk up the pretty steep hill after this. The upside is the lovely residential area built into the hillside and stunning views when reaching the top end. Not ideal if you’re the type to ‘pop back to the room’ multiple times a day.

I'd finished a week hiking trip in the Oslo forests and found this hotel right at the edge of the forests and stayed at the property for 2 days. The location and area was very tranquil and pretty. the breakfast was super! excellent laundry facilities, hotel and room was very clean and tidy with great views of a big lake and the area, also the Oslo Science & Technology museum is a 20 mins walk away and well worth visiting. Great place, location and facilities, will definitely visit again.

Everything. The breakfast was ample and tasty. The facilities were brilliant. I did not have time to make the most of all of them. There were lots of lovely places to relax and take in the views of the amazing area.

The footpath to the tram/train/bus station could be improved (about 1 km away). It had rained heavily and was a little muddy underfoot, also, portions of it were not lit, which was no problem for early July as it did not get dark, but would be impassable in other seasons.

I agree with what others have said about this hostel - it's more like a hotel. Way up on a hill with a view of the ski jump high on another hill. The place was quiet, the room clean and comfortable and the buffet-style breakfast was outstanding with the usual fare as well as healthy choices.

It can't be changed but it is quite a hike up and down to the #11 and 12 tram, however we found that the walk back up at the end of the day was a good way to cap it off. We loved everything about this place.

If you have to go into the centre of Oslo a lot, it's not that convenient. You always need to get a bus and a metro or two buses. The Oslo transport system is excellent though so one rarely waits more than 5 minutes.

The price was good for Oslo. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety. You can use the gym for 24 hours for 85 nok. There are 2 gyms, upper and lower body. The hostel is ideally located for walking.

The blind in the room didn't block out much of the sunlight. I was waking up at 4am every morning.
