Lovely little hotel, right in the old town just inside the golden gate, so perfect for walking everywhere. Very welcoming, we were early but were able to leave bags with receception so we could go out for some lunch. We had a comfortable room on the 2nd floor with tea/coffee making facilities, shower cubicle and toiletries, and hanging space. It's good to have electric points next to the bed. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and reasonably priced. We chose to have it on both mornings. Would definitely book here again when visiting Gdańsk.

Nothing I didn't like at all, however it can be noisy at night due to location so we were grateful for a 2nd floor room. Not the hotels fault, and they do provide ear plugs in the room, but I have my own I use due to partners snoring!

The hotel is located right on one of the main streets running through Main Town Gdansk and our front facing second floor room did experience a bit of noise from "revellers" until the early hours of the morning. The hotel does provide earplugs, which suggests that this is a common issue. We found setting our air conditioning unit to blow all night drowned out the exterior sound

A beautiful hotel located in the main street of old town Gdańsk. I had a warm welcome with a brief explanation about my stay, the facilities and about breakfast which was located in their restaurant area next door. The room itself was spacious, curtains really kept out the daylight and the bathroom was spotless. The view was right against the old building opposite of the hotel, as the side I was staying in was sided at the small alley the entrance of the building was located.

The doors on the hallway close rather loudly, awakening me quite often during the early morning.

Location of the hotel is amazing - in the heart of city centre, close to main train station. Hosts were very helpful and kind. When you closed windows, it was pretty quite (taking into account the location). I liked the fact that there was a kettle with tea and coffee in the room. Bathroom was spacious with all required equipment. It was clean and nice!

The room was pretty warm, despite that fact that heater was turned off. When you opened the window, it was pretty loud, but they turned down music and voices after 11pm, which worked for us. The rest is great!

The hotel location is great, right in the heart of old town. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The first room I was in was terrible but once I was moved the new room was perfect with a great view.

The first room was facing the back of the property. The description states courtyard but it is not. It is the back of a restaurant where they store trash cans, extra inventory and where the staff smokes. The room did not have AC and it was hard keep the windows open with the noise and smell of cigarettes. The hotel staff was very accommodating and moved us to a very nice room with AC and a beautiful view.

The location is fantastic. it's right at the very end of Dluga, the main high street with all the main bars and restaurants, museums, churches, statues, monuments, gifts/souvenirs shops. All the staff were very polite, welcoming and professional. Cleaning the rooms was performed every 2 days, but you can hang the door notice out should you require additional cleaning. Food in the attached restaurant is very nice and well presented and you get a 15% discount as a staying guest(to use as often as you like on food only though, not on alcohol). However, on our last night there, we couldn't eat there as it was full and we weren't advised to pre book. (This aint a big deal, a minor inconvenience at worst) All the staff speak very good English, i am currently learning Polish but i did a horrible job of trying to speak it and the staff bailed me out with excellent English. Tbh, all the places we went to eat/drink spoke excellent English, including but not limited to, the Hard Rock cafe, the ferber, the souvenir shops, museums, basically everywhere. Something else that deserves an honerable mention, when we returned to the hotel at night, i would purchase one or two bottles of Zywiec beer. It's the same price as the shops/bars. This is a big deal, as im from the UK and im used to paying higher prices for everyday goods, just because its a hotel or fuel station for eg, but Liberum did not do this, they charged the same price as everywhere else, which i found to be a constant occurrence wherever we went in Gdansk and Sopot, this is a very good thing and deserves praise. The food/drink was excellent and a very, very reasonable price, tbh it's cheap and not in a bad way. it's all made fresh and served with care and professionalism. They all took their jobs very seriously and did them flawlessly (IMO). We were never hard selled to, eg.nothing was thrusted in our faces and "sold" to us.

Ok, this is nit picking but i have to mention something I didn't like. The heating was always on. Now, this is nit picking as it was, for most of the week, 1 degree Celsius outside. However, the heating could not be controlled and the room did at times get stuffy. Thats all the bad i can say about Liberum. Unrelated to the residence, some the other restaurants employ a tactic of having "representatives" outside their establishments to try and entice people into their places to eat/drink. I hate this tactic and its just makes me NOT want to visit the venue, so i dont/didnt.

The hotel has an excellent location right at the "main street" of the old town. But still slightly secluded from the worst noise and bustle. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and had everything we needed, even though it wasn't large. Considering the price we paid, there is very little to not be happy about. We spent most of our time exploring the city, not in the room. But it did provide some wonderful respite when we were there.

The shower head holder didn't work. But we managed alright. That is the only thing that wasn't very good.

Staff were very pleasant and welcoming, location was fantastic with everything being on your doorstep or within 5 minute walk, restaurant was lovely with delicious food and personally I adored the look and aesthetic of hotel in general. Bonus was that we got a taxi from the Airport which took 15/20 mins and when decided we would do the same on the way back the taxis were literally lined up at the other side of the archway. Everything so handy. Would 100% stay there again.

Overall had a fabulous stay however 1 very small thing is that for 3 people the room may have been a little small when it comes to storage, then again it was 3 girls with a lot of baggage and shopping. Could I possibly recommend somewhere separate (such as hooks on the door) for coats?

Excellent value for money. Great location. Great breakfast selection. Comfortable beds. Helpful staff with excellent English. Overall, we had a great visit and would come back. Air conditioning is needed in 30C+ temperatures though.

Gdansk was warmer than expected. If I had known that I may have chosen a hotel with air conditioning. Could not operate room safe, even after asking reception to reset previous user password. Restaurant menu didn't appeal to us personally although breakfast was great.

Clean room, good facilities, great bathroom and shower. Breakfast - good selection and great coffee. Restaurant / bar at the hotel was great, had a last few drinks in there each night (Friday night Piano night was brilliant). Had lunch on the day we travelled home, couldn't fault anything. Lovely old building, decorated and converted to a high standard, this hotel was a great find and in a brilliant location.

Couldn't have asked for anything more.
