I stayed at PURO Gdańsk Stare Miasto once before four years ago and really enjoyed my experience, so decided to return on my latest trip to Poland. All in all, this is a great hotel located in the heart of Gdańsk (close to all shops, bars, and restaurants) with beautiful rooms, everything you could possibly need. The breakfast has a fantastic range to choose from, there are bars on the ground floor and rooftop floor and thoroughly enjoyed all the services on offer. The staff were also very friendly and supportive, happily giving recommendations of local places to check out during my stay. The bed was very comfortable, I had no issues with noise or anything despite being close to one of the busier 'tourist' streets right outside the hotel. Also, there is a spa, sauna, and massage service on the lower floor of the hotel - this is probably one of the main reasons I returned to this hotel too, as the massage was absolutely incredible and 100% worth the money. You probably can't go wrong whichever you pick, and my only regret is that I didn't get more than one during my stay.

I felt like there could have been a slightly wider selection of TV channels in different languages, although this was a minor concern as I did not travel to Poland to stay indoors watching television (the same for most I expect). A plug socket closer to the bathroom mirror would have been ideal when using the hairdryer as the cord was fairly short. Another very minor point, but there was an Samsung tablet in the room which could be used for hotel services, e.g. ordering food and checking out after your stay - for some reason I could not find a way to turn this off at night so had to cover it to avoid the bright distracting light, but this may well be because I was completely oblivious as to which button would have done this.

Very neat , great deco, clean, brilliant breakfast, lots of choices, staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent location . I would highly recommend that hotel . 👌

There is nothing I didn’t like. Swimming pool would be a bonus .

our second stay in PURO Gdansk. We booked for 2 adults and 2 teenagers and got one room equipped with two folable beds at last minute (during our check in) because they did not realize 14 year old boy is a fully grown adult. Indeed they were forcoming and did the changes quickly and nicely. Parking on the street. Sauna for such hotel is way too small. PURO is still one of the best choices in Gdansk (style, design, service, location), but starting to stumble across the expectations and competitive offer around. Price/comfort ratio starts to be stretched. Breakfast as usual - top (however the Milk bar accrsss the street begins to attract more and more guests to cheap 1980's breakfast.

Beautiful interior and fantastic location - mere minutes from the old town. The facilities are fantastic - spacious restaurant area including a great breakfast range, seating area and bars. There's a great sauna and we took advantage of a very relaxing massage at a very reasonable price. All hotel staff were friendly and helpful with our hotel room requests. Free tea/coffee machine available too.

The bathroom had glass as a partition which can be awkward if you're not very close to the person you are travelling with (not an issue for us). The pillows were a little soft but that is personal preference - they provided us with firmer pillows upon request.

This is a very nice and clean hotel in an excellent location for sightseeing. The hotel is very spacious and well designed. The room is very comfortable and the temperature control was great. The bars were also very good. The staff were super helpful and friendly.

I had multiple issues with the key card holder in the room not recognising my key card. I had to have this fixed three times in only a short stay. The lifts were out of service a fair bit, so at times you can have quite a wait. I also wasn't sure about the number of dogs staying in the hotel rooms. This is great for some people but it would be good if there were separate rooms for those guests with dogs, and rooms that do not sleep dogs. This would be more hygienic.

When travelling around Poland, we always stay in PURO hotels. We’ve already checked the locations in Kraków, Wroclaw and Warsaw. This time we stayed in Gdansk and had the loveliest experience: perfect location in the heart of the city, spacious room with a nice view, good food, helpful and friendly staff, stylish design and lots of activities — SPA, yoga, bikes, cozy corners for rest, rooftop bar, Italian restaurant. And PURO is pets friendly, so they always treat our dog in the best way. We really loved our stay and the aesthetic of the hotel and the city itself. We will definitely come back in December for Christmas.

Perfect location, fast check-in and checkout, amazing bed, free tea and coffee behind reception. Breakfast was good. When our air con broke at night we were quickly moved to another room for the night until the issue was fixed the following morning.

When the coffee machine behind reception was broken my wife asked staff in the restaurant if she could get a coffee from there instead and they bluntly told her ‘no’. This could just be a staff training issue. Customer should come first and process second in issues such as this. Also, although it seems crazy to a lot of mainland Europeans, guests from UK And Ireland would like the availability of milk at the tea and coffee machine (yes we like milk in our tea). This is available in Puro Krakow Kazimierz but not Puro Gdańsk and is a very easy fix.

It was central to the Old Town & all the restaurants & bars. It was an unusual design with an industrial but comfortable interior. The coffee machine behind the reception area was fabulous! Delicious coffee. The staff were helpful & efficient. We had a big room with a large comfortable bed that had a partial view of the river.

The hotel was difficult to find initially. The glass doors to the bathroom didn’t give any privacy. The breakfast was really expensive so we went out to eat. We were given a room that had a wet room shower & water just went everywhere!

Really beautiful hotel in the heart of Gdansk. Modern and cozy. Beds are very comfy, good water pressure and excellent breakfast. We stayed with our 1,5 year old and the baby crib was clean and already put up when we arrived in our room. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend PURO to everyone who wants to stay at a great place in Gdansk.

The service for dinner and breakfast is quite slow. Seems like some waiters are still being trained. When we wanted to go for dinner in their Italian restaurant on Saturday they told us it could take 40-50minutes until we will get our dinner served. This can be improved with proper planning.

Amazing location in the city center where it is a 5 minutes walking distance to the canal where all restaurants and life is. The staff are super helpful whilst the room is very comfortable. Loved that the hotel is designed very chic and cozy at the some time.

The sound proofing in the room could have been better considering there were some construction going on the side of the building. And, perhaps the hotel should also include in some information sheet where the spa is available to all hotel guests whilst it is on the smaller size, but, the team is very helpful in explaining and providing all that is needed.
