Location is in the center, very close to Elevador de Santa Justa, to Rua Augusta street, Praça do Comércio and other few attractions.

The entrance is in the back street, so the taxi cannot come till the hotel's door. Also lots ot homeless and beggars on that back street. One night there was karaoke or something in the nearby restaurant and the noise was too much.

The location was amazing, right in the square but wasnt noisy at all. Walking distance to just about everything you need to get to in Lisbon when you only have a short time. The bed was super comfortable and the staff was super accommodating at storing our luggae for the day as we toured the city. Their coffee and pasteis on checking in was such a nice touch as it was out first day and had been traveling all night.

Nothing I can say I didn't like. Maybe that you have to go around to get in? Not really direct street access....but this is VERY minor.

Room has emergency lights visible and glowinh emergency plan sticked to the wall... So at night theres no total darkness.

Everything was new because the hotel was just renovated. They did a really nice job with the renovation and the room was very nice! Great central location and my room had a nice view of the plaza. It was very quiet in the room despite the busy area. Great water pressure and also the AC worked very well. The front desk staff, especially the two guys that were there in the afternoon/evening, were very friendly and helpful!

The room I stayed in was quite small (albeit it very nice) so not a lot of space for luggage. Would also be nice if they added a little shelf of some kind in the shower to put your stuff on so you don’t have to put it on the ground.

Very warm welcome from staff, easy check in, great room. The hotel is very central with walking access to many restaurants, museums and (after a steep uphill walk) the wonderful Sao Jorge castle, which we could see from our bedroom window (see view attached). The hotel is located 'on the flat' adjacent to the Rossio square, and with level access to the river. Either side, the hills rise, and as any visitor to Lisbon with tell you, there are some steep hills to negotiate depending on where you are going. Reception staff and tour concierge(s) were all very friendly and helpful; we made reservations for a guided tour to Sintra, a local Fado performance, and restaurants - all very successful. Breakfast was adequate with lots of fruit and pastries, but the same cafe is open for lunch and a light dinner to the general public, and we enjoyed those even more. Sound proofing in our room was particularly good - opening a window demonstrated how noisy the square was below our room. Room was serviced daily. Good WiFi. Great bathroom, strong shower. Highly recommended.

Sadly, homeless people and rubbish are to be found fairly close to the hotel, but this is hardly the hotel's fault.

Perfect location. Greeted with Port and a Portuguese tart on arrival. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Beds were really comfy!

The hotel has a perfect location to access by car and public transportation, and foot walk distant to most of the sightseeing areas. Clean and hygienic by the means of room itself with the bed and the sheets&towels also the fresh air and good smell. Furniture and interior new. Although located on the noisy square, no problem in the room. If you are looking for the above mentioned points in a hotel, you will receive the value of the price. Front desk Monica and Marcus helped so much with early check-in and giving information about the routes and highlights of the city on map. Stayed for 3 nights, enough space in the room. Perfectly located near Rossio Train Station and close to the squares: Rossio and da Figueira. Also two Metro stations very close to the hotel. A few minutes away from Rua Augusta which leads to Praca do Commercio. However what tops it all is the staff. Extremely helpful and they go out of their way to assist. Of particular note was the sterling support given by reception Penelope. Undoubtedly an asset to the hotel. Hotel was very clean.

I would have preferred a slightly larger room but then it sufficed for our 3-night stay.

Just back from a couple of nights in Lisbon with friends. Nicola Rossio is the perfect location if you’re there for a few days sightseeing. It’s about a half hour from the airport, central to all transport modes and near the hop on hop off sightseeing buses. Shops, restaurants, bars all within walking distance. We didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on the food but the restaurant recommendations from the gentleman at reception were perfect for us. Pleasant and helpful staff. The bedrooms were a little on the small side but fine for the length of time spent in them as we were out all day. Rooms very clean, lovely shower. Our bedroom was looking out over Rossio Square but no noise disturbance at night which was great. Great A/C, room nice and cool. Twin bedded room was fine, would have liked a bit more space between the beds but it was a comfy bed and a decent sleep had. Would happily recommend Nicola Rossio hotel as a base for sightseeing trip. Also, the Pastel de nata were a nice touch on check in!

We stayed at the Nicola Rossio Hotel as part of our honeymoon and we enjoyed every minute of our stay! The location is fantastic and the the staff were so kind and helpful! During the check-in we were offered Pastel de Belém along with port wine. We also got an upgrade to a bigger room and were welcomed with some sparkling wine and a card to enjoy our honeymoon. That was very lovely of the hotel, thank you again! We felt very welcomed and when we come back to Lisbon we’ll definitely choose Nicola Rossio Hotel.
