The hotel is only 10-15 minutes walk from the main square of Lisbon, which is ideal! The room was always clean and fresh towels everyday, also we got a free room upgraded which was amazing. The beds were comfortable, the shower pressure was great. Hotel staff were very polite and friendly, we were able to get in the room early. Plus, it was for my boyfriend’s 30th and the stay overall was a good experience.

The only thing that’s was disappointing was the breakfast, unfortunately this did not live up to an expectation of a five star hotel. Compared to the photos of the breakfast on the advertisement, the one we got everyday for five days was a very different picture and a bit underwhelming but it did the job. The first night we stayed, we got woken up at 4:00 AM by the many cruise ships passing by but this is not the hotels fault. The only other thing, they did not replace the tea/coffee everyday in the room so we could not use the coffee machine, and we had to ask three times for an iron board in the room.

Great location. We arrived by train from Porto, the hotel is at the Apolonia train station. The station is also a terminus for the metro trains that take you into the main centre of Lisbon. Handy for restaurants behind the hotel in the old town. We loved the interior design of the hotel based on art deco theme. Staff were great, throughout our stay, and that continued after our return. I lost my phone in the taxi to the airport, reception were excellent in helping retrieve it and getting it sent home.

More choice of menu required in the restaurant. Same applies for breakfast, more fruit choices.

From the moment we stepped into the Reception area for check in, to finally leaving, all the Hotel Staff made us feel extremely welcome and at home during our stay. To celebrate our occasion, we recieved a complimentary upgrade from a Station View Double Room to a River View Double Room which was greatly appreciated. A member of Staff kindly took our luggage to our room and then accompanied us to show us to our room which was a nice touch. Our room was modern, clean and spacious enough for the 2 of us. There was a kettle, coffee machine, coffee pods etc. The TV had 4-5 English language channels which aired American TV shows & films. There were enough sockets and USB ports on either side of the bed for both of us. Upon request, an iron and ironing board was also provided. The shower in our room was seperate to the toilet. The mini bar in the room was complimentary which again was a nice touch from the hotel. Our room was made up everyday. Towels and toiletries were replenished along with the complementary bottle of water. We loved the early 1900’s chic theme that ran throughout the hotel. It was classic, old school but modern all at the same time. Personally, we didn’t hear any noises of the trains or metros in our room during our stay. Check out was at 12pm which I feel is very reasonable. Our return flight wasn’t till later on in the evening therefore the hotel kindly stored our luggage. We were free to use the washroom facilities on the first floor throughout the day and I must say they were really clean. From our personal experience we could tell the Hotel prides itself on high levels of cleanliness. The strategic location of this hotel within a Train/Metro Station means that you can explore all areas of Lisbon at ease using the Metro. If you are a walker then the Pantheon is only a 9 minute walk from the hotel. Praca do Comercio is a casual 17 minute walk along the river.

Even though it's outside of the city centre, it doesn't really feel that way. The location on top on Apolonia Station is perfect, the Metro takes you in tot the city in minutes, and the train is great for exploring places farther away. Loads of buses stop next to the station as well. Room is small but modern, and everything you need is there, with excellent beds. One thing I really liked as well is the possibility to stkre your luggage on your last day and take a shower. Every member of staff we encountered was incredibly helpful.

Housekeeping was... meh? No toiletpaper, missing towels and bathrobes, and they forgot the dirty bedsheets in the room when they left.

Great location almost in the train station, cool decor with lots of attention to detail in replicating the former building. Bar staff generally friendly and quickly rectified an issue before it became a complaint.

Some of the reception staff lacked interest, 1 failed to check full payment was made prior and proceeded to take a second until I insisted rechecking when it was confirmed already paid. The single line breakfast queue was a little chaotic with people stepping in & out to select food when others were waiting for the same dish - ran out of items on 2 days ( sausages/bacon) despite another hour plus before ending. We left the room from 10am to 6.30pm and still wasn’t cleaned on return. Reported to reception who advised check out rooms were prioritised for cleaning. Fine but it was over 6 hours past check out time. We rested then went out again so the room could be cleaned which it was.

Historical property. Top of a train station converted to a hotel. We were on the third floor with a view of the cruise terminal. The rooms were so quiet! Seriously quiet with all the bustling street activity. Curtains blocked all the city light. Staff were attentive and kind. Bed was comfy with nice linens.

Did not like the area as much as other areas we stayed in Lisbon. Tons of construction going on in this area. The grocery store in the train station was incredibly crowded and busy. Not a great choice of restaurants. This is by no means the fault of the hotel, however.

We missed our flight out of Lisbon and needed a quick place to stay. There weren't ANY options in our humble price range, so this was a splurge - even though I was able to find a discounted last minute deal. The hotel was absolutely amazing. So, comfortable, clean, and helped take away a lot of the stress from our travel problems. The staff were extremely professional and polite and informative. We couldn't appreciate our stay more. When I awoke by my alarm the next morning to get to the airport, comfortably nestled in bed on the memory foam pillow, I honestly could not understand where I was or why I needed to get up so early! That's how deeply comfortable I was.

I wish places like this were more accessible to more common folk like ourselves. We were up against a wall and had to splurge for a place to stay the night. Too bad there isn't more of a price range to offer different income levels, so we can all experience such a wonderful stay more often.

This is a nice hotel with a comfortable room and a beautiful view of the water. I am glad we booked a room over looking the water. Triple pane windows make the room very quiet. The staff, from the porter, the front desk, the waitstaff and cooks in the restaurant to the housekeepers are very friendly and helpful. All were charming people. They serve a nice breakfast buffet that also includes both coffee and eggs made to order. Late one evening I had the best hamburger of my life in their restaurant.

The hotel is comnnected to the train station and its a beautiful building inside and out. We had a window facing the station and there of course is some noise from there. It did not matter for us as we were on a layover for a night, but for a longer stay...I would go for river view. The rooms have high ceilings and are very nice, clean, comfy! In my mind the location is perfect. You are both walking distance into a lively neighbourhood and have access to public transport to both get to the city center and the airport easily. We were in Lissabon in holiday season and I would not have wanted to stay any closer to the tourist nightmare that the city center of Lissabon has turned into. Tha stuff was friendly too. So all good!!!

The location was perfect. Access to transport was nearly seem less. Access to local amenities like several small well stocked super markets. Really great public spaces well maintained and things smelt lovely. We really enjoyed visiting the bar in the Restaurant. The staff were very kind.

The check-in and check out process could have been clearer. A little confusion about check out times between staff and guests. Room did not have a waste bin (though there's was a small bathroom bin) would have been useful to have as staying in a hotel generates small amounts of waste.
