Lovely and clean property. We loved the little touches of the coffee machine and top up of coffees and teas. There was biscuits left in a jar on the landing to help yourself to. The property has air conditioning, which was great for the warm evenings. It is a bit out of Porto but we used the Metro and Uber which was very reasonable to get around. It was just a stones throw from the beach front. The staff at breakfast were lovely and welcoming. The breakfast was good and always had fresh produce. Finally Paula is really welcoming and she always had a smile to greet you. Nothing was too much trouble. Recommend a stay

This Wes Anderson movie-looking hotel has a fabulous location right at the beginning of the promenade of the Matosinhos Beach and less than 20 minute taxi ride from the airport. We stayed in the Under the Stars room, which we knew was tiny, but still managed to have a King bed, chair and bench and clothes storage. Bed was insanely comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. Staff was super-friendly and met us early to store our luggage in a locked room so we could go explore until check-in. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful: omelet, pancakes, breads and jams, cereal and yogurt, cold cuts and cheeses (on your table, not a buffet!). It is also conveniently located to a metro stop and the Conservas Pinahais sardine factory where you can take a fun and informative tour and tasting!

Not really anything the hotel can do, but our room had two skylights (hence the name, Under the Stars) and the pouring rain was really loud against the glass. It didn't bother us (and it was amusing to watch all of the seagulls fighting the gale in the morning light), but if you are sensitive to noise and travel during the rainy season I would suggest booking a different room.

First of all, I would like to note that the hotel itself looks great, located in a great location - not far from the embankment, along which you can park your car for free. The owner of the hotel, an amazingly kind and tactful woman, greeted us very warmly and was always ready to answer our questions. The atmosphere inside the hotel is very pleasant, as are all the staff. We have never regretted that we chose this particular hotel in this town - it is very convenient to get to the city of Porto in just 30 minutes by bus No. 500, the route of which runs along the embankment. Our most sincere recommendations and gratitude for the warm welcome and wonderful experience. We hope to come back again! We will recommend the hotel and the city to our friends! There's no such thing! Rather a wish - to expand the range of breakfast for vegetarians

Everything was so beautiful and clean. The location is spectacular. Sara who greeted us was exceptional. She thought of everything, from bring us breakfast in the evening since we had an early departure to giving us local recommendations for restaurants, etc. it was a short stay for us but would definitely stay here if in the area again!

This place is a dream! It is right on the Camino! The rooms are thoughtfully appointed. Every detail is well thought out. If you walk from Porto and you are taking it in small stages this is the place for you! Enjoy a great dinner with grilled fish at the plentiful restaurants up the street.

Since my trip was at the end of a business conference I had tons of luggage with me. There is no lift which they do indicate but I didn’t see this so be advised. Still they helped me get my monster bag upstairs.

The interior design is fantastic. One of the most traveler-friendly rooms I’ve ever seen. The breakfast was amazing - tasty food served by friendly staff. The hotel was very responsive and accommodating about trying to help me fix an error on my end.

This is a beautifully renovated building, near the beach. It has a gorgeous set of stairs, but no elevator, so it is something to bear in mind if one needs an accessible stay.

The room was an excellent size with a lovely en-suite. An excellent touch was the coffee maker in the room plus all manner of pastries, biscuits etc in the foyer! Parking spaces available in the street were also very handy. One of the best fish restaurants in the fish market is only a ten minute walk away!

The breakfast in the restaurant downstairs did not do the room any justice whatsoever. It was uninspiring and we didn't bother having any after the second day.

Paula was an absolute gem with communication prior to my arrival and helping me out when I checked in. Harbour Inn is a stone's throw away from the beach, which is really nice. There was no lift, but it's only 3 stories, so it wasn't too bad; I just took my time going up and down the stairs. My room was on the smaller side, which I read from a former poster, but it was just me, so it was fine. The room and bathroom were very clean! Actually, the entire hotel was spotless! The bed was super comfortable and I was able to adjust temperature if needed. Breakfast was plentiful-- honestly enough for two people! I'd definitely would stay here again! Muito obrigada!

My only negative is that when it rained, it poured and the rain hitting the skylight window above the bed made it sound as if it was a hailstorm! Earplugs is a must for that during the rainy season. So maybe suggest a room on the 1st level.

My husband and I are walking the Portuguese Camino and like to stay in private rooms. This guest house is amazing- so tastefully decorated, the most comfortable bed we slept in (those European mattresses are normally super hard), very clean, upscale amenities and the breakfast (included), was amazing. Paula was a wonderful host. I can’t recommend it enough. The price was amazing for the accommodation.

Sara (the owner) is super nice, and very friendly. The rooms are very well designed and everything is so clean. The building and rooms are protected with a code, which makes it very easy to enter. Also the staff is very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast starts at 09:00 am, which is pretty late. Especially if you are an early bird like me, that would like to start the day early. I'm guessing that this is because the restaurant is also open for diner and the staff needs also their rest, so its all good.
