Everything in the apartment is pretty new and functional. Location is extremely convenient with metro, train station, restaurants, cafes and viewpoints in a short walking distance. House keeping ladies do a nice job, there’s always a neat room waiting for us after the whole day out.

Molds in the shower room is really depressed. None of the house keeping ladies’ business, it’s there during our first two- night booking, it’s still there when we checked in for our second booking of nine nights.

PORTO S. Bento Residences are in the Baixa, (also known as “Sé”, referring to the cathedral) district, conveniently situated right beside the São Bento central railway station and metro station. We stayed in apartment 2C, a generously sized modern studio with a couple of cleverly positioned seating nooks adding to the space and a couple of small balconies looking out across a busy intersection to a small plaza (Praça das Cardosas), so there’s some traffic noise. The modern studio features concrete ceiling and floor — with rugs, it’s stylishly and colorfully furnished, and has a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine. Wifi is good and the TV offers dozens of cable channels. The bathroom is functional but could use a good extraction fan. The property is operated more like a hotel than rental apartment: there’s 24-hour reception and concierge service with personable and helpful staff, regular housekeeping, and the small fridge has mini-bar items available for purchase. The city’s recently-opened Time Out Market is next door, which is a great convenience. We had an enjoyable stay here.

It was close to the green and red lines and some pleasant Asian restaurants. Several of the other guests were pleasant conversationalists

The room was smaller than we expected from the description and we did not realize we would be sharing the large sitting area (I never saw anyone using it all week) and kitchen. Listing in Booking.com should have mentioned the shared space. It did have a kitchen, washing machine, etc., but shared with five other units. At least we did not have a shared bathroom.

We did not opt for Breakfast so can't speak of that. The location is very convenient. We had a rental car and they have a deal with a parkade so paid 26 Euro per day for that. Studio is quite small and the kitchenette is a bit awkward -- tiny and has all the amenities (no dishwasher) but cooktop close to sink so air drying dishes was troublesome. Washing machine worked great and there is a small drying rack which we placed on the balcony to dry clothes. Coffee maker didn't work well - coffee was lukewarm. All in all, wonderful stay. Bed is very comfortable which for us is very important. Close to many restaurants, shops, and trains/transit

The location was very central, perfect for walking around. Also very nice that it is right next to both train and metro stations, allowing for easy travels. The sound proofing is really good, despite the extremely busy surrounding, the room was rather quiet.

The bathroom in the room did not provide any privacy at all for the one using it, was OK with my partner, but keep in mind if it is an issue. The "continental breakfast" provided did not worth 16 euros per person, you would be better off getting breakfast in one of the cafes in Porto.

We loved our stay -- the apartment was well appointed and came with everything we could need. Staff was kind and attentive. Everything was very modern. We loved the location (though accessing is a little challenging for taxis with construction around the train station -- just have to be mindful). Walking distance to everything we wanted to see or a short taxi ride.

Reception is tiny -- not a big deal but when checking in with 2 couples and multiple bags it was tight! We forgot to write down our minibar purchases and were emailed later and asked to pay 5 euro with a payment link -- again, not a big deal, but would have been nice if they could have just saved a card on file to charge.

The interior design was very pleasant. It fantastic view of the city! Staff were extremely attentive, they were all very well trained, gave a detailed room tour and always ready to help! The crew also leave notes whenever possible informing us that the Do Not Disturb light was on so they did not come in to clean up during cleaning hours. They also had notes letting us know what’s available for free and what items need to be paid for. Very attentive! Extremely central, literally less than 100 steps to the Sao Bento Train Station.

Everything was fantastic! This is really minor and just a good to have- dressing table in the living area. I came with my girl best friend and there were times in the morning where we had to take turns to do make up/blow our hair in the bathroom.

My room was 4A on the 4th floor. I loved the spaciousness of the room and the very individual and high quality furnishings. The balcony with view to the Time Out Market and Sao Bento Trainstation was a nice plus too. The location in the middle of the city is outstandig. (Yes it's not the quietes place in Porto, but if you close the windows you will never hear anything more about it). The room also has a stove, a dishwascher and a washing machine (which I all didn't use during my stay).

Nothing! Everything met my expectations!

Excellent location and professional staff. Despite being opposite the Sao Bento station the studio was very well insulated. We experienced no street disturbance. Studio is as it looks on the booking.com website. Lots of natural light. Just beautiful. Daily bottled water that was complimentary.

The mouldy smell on arrival. Luckily being able to open balcony windows was helpful to get rid of it. Unfortunately it never went away despite airing it over the 3 nights we were there. Being shut all day while we were away wasn’t helpful to the situation

Location - you can’t get more convenient than this. Everything is simply around you, walking distance to anywhere everywhere for touristy spots. It’s directly above the S.Bento station so easily connected to the airport. Moreover, cafes, restaurants and shops are all around. Main bus 500 brings to you to other places super easily. The hotel is like a pit stop for me to take breaks whenever I want. Service from staffs - tip top from the beginning til the end. Good English speakers, warm and helpful. They provide all informations required before and during stay. They made me feel soooooo welcomed. Room - this is like a jackpot for me the moment I stepped into the apartment. Oh wow, everything is nicely done up, exquisite decorations, modern and complete. I think they made it very instagrammable! Bed and sofas are so plushed and cushy. There’s a small balcony overlooking the city view if you like people watching while enjoying breakfast or coffees. Kitchen is fully equipped although I didn’t use it. Bathroom is of very good size. Oh yes, room is soundproofed very well too! Safety - feel so safe here even late after midnight. It’s central, fully lit and people are around. Reception is 24/7 so you will always have somebody to help you. The main door is key lock control so it’s secured.

Strange smell on one occasion but too faint and went away quickly. Can be noisy if leaving window open and at low floor. So best to ask for higher floors.
