Near the train station. Very accessible.

During my first night i woke up to the sound of my door banging 2-3x while i was sleeping. at around 3am i finally checked my door only to find out that someone opened it. Good thing it has another lock inside.. i was so creeped out and reported it early in the morning and the receptionist and i couldnt understand each other but later on i was convinced that i’ll be fine. And the receptionist said it was a mistake and apologized. And later the night prior my check out, i discovered bugs or something?? I dont know what it’s called..

The location is very convenient. It is opposite to the Keisei Ueno station, where you can take Skyliner to Nirita Airport. Lots of shops and restaurants within 10 minutes walk. Ueno Park is next to the hotel too.

The room is a bit small. You can only open the suitcase on the bed.

Housekeeping was done twice for a 4-night stay, which is reasonable. 7-Eleven and FamilyMart are conveniently nearby. The metro exit is directly across the street. Clean environment. Functional air conditioning. Beautiful view of the park from the window.

The TV turning on automatically upon entering the room was quite annoying. We sometimes came back late at night and wanted peace and quiet. The TV lacked a variety of channels, making it nearly pointless. Very narrow space, but this is standard for Tokyo at this price range. The staff who assisted us did not speak English, which is incomprehensible for a tourist-focused establishment.

- The hotel is conveniently close to Tokyo University, where I was attending a conference. Ueno Park and the metro station are also within a 5-minute walk. - The staff were friendly and helpful. - The room was cosy, clean, and had all the necessary amenities. However, it was small. - The breakfast was good, but not exceptional.

- There were some very strange videos on the TV, featuring instructions from APA about rules to follow. These videos showed a random dark-skinned man misbehaving. I found the APA video somewhat racist and in poor taste. - The luggage storage service involved leaving your luggage in front of the reception. There was no locked room for luggage storage.

Very close to the keisei exit and less than 10 mins away from JR Ueno. Good location. Staffs are very helpful til as late as midnight. And they allow luggage storage which we are very grateful about! If in the future theres an arrangement of APA to APA luggage transfer that will be perfect! (Even with reasonable charges). Appreciate the thoughful wide range of toiletaries are great as well!

The space is a little too small (2 persons with 1 big luggage and 2 small hand carries), perhaps some storage idea (like enable us to slot luggage under the bed) will be great! And perhaps additional laundry and dryer will be perfect! 🥰

Location wise, this hotel is perfect, it's literally next to Keisei Ueno station and connected to Ueno Metro station from the underground. JR Ueno station is also just next to it. There's a lot of konbini around so it's easy to get quick food or drinks, pharmacy are a lot too, and several other restaurants nearby the hotel. It's also very close to Ueno park.

I think cleanliness can be improved, the rooms were dusty especially on the headboard and desk. I had to take initiatives to clean it by myself since I have dust allergy. Also the pillow and bed are too soft and it did not really support the back, after a long day of walking and sightseeing you kinda want a bed that can support your back a little bit.

The location was fantastic, easy walking distance to the Skyliner, metro and JR Lines. There's an abundance of food, kombinis and sights to see right near the hotel. It's a great location to get around from overall.

The room itself is very snug, especially for two people, the bathroom is also very small and hard to manoeuvre in most cases. We didn't have many issues with it thankfully. Lastly, if the elevators are busy, it can take a long time to get to the ground floor, on a bad day it took us 20 minutes to get to the ground from the 5th floor, I would recommend making stairs a more readily available option.

The location is great! Just across Ueno station and the Keisei Skyliner station that connects Narita Airport to the city center. There are a lot of different convenience stores nearby and is within walking distance to Ameyoko shopping street. There's a nearby Donki and GU/Uniqlo too, and a lot of souvenir shops and drugstores so it's a great place for people who loves to shop.

If it's nighttime, it might take time for some guests to access the elevator. Sometimes there's a queue going up. The rooms are small too - you cannot really open 2 large luggages at the same time. It's slightly expensive too but considering the location, it's somehow reasonable.

This hotel was centrally located right next to Keisei Ueno train station, which was super convenient for my trips to Nagano, to the airport, and for local sight seeing in Tokyo. It is located right on a giant pond for strolls in the morning after breakfast and a break from the city. The bed and bedding were super comfortable. It was easy to cast content from my streaming service (Netflix) so it was nice to be able to watch shows when jetlag kicked in in the middle of the night. The breakfast was a nice self-serve buffet with lots of options, and the kitchen staff was very friendly. Mostly I'd say location, location, location. The room was tiny, but I was alone with only a small bag, so it was fine for me.

Thumbs up for the most part. The only downer was that sometimes the staff at the front desk didn't seem interested in engaging with me. There are machines that separate you from the staff and they'd rather you interact with the machines through QR codes and other tech than approach them directly (e.g., for check out, luggage storage, etc.). I prefer a little more personal interaction, but that's just my relational style.

Great location, right next to Ueno park and the keisei Ueno station. Room is small and affordable which is perfect for those who just need a place to sleep. Front desk was very helpful with shipping our luggage to the next hotel. New towels and yukatas were provided for each night's stay. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, comb, and razors, hair ties were provided. The bed is comfy and the light switched being right next to the bed is a plus! After a long day of traveling it is nice to just get in bed and turn off the lights without having to get up.

Space is very small. We only had 2 backpacks a carry on and a checked bag. We made it work, by taking out what we needed for each day and keeping our luggage closed. Wished the bath was a little bigger, but it was amazing to see how compact and space conscious the room was.
