The rooms were were very nice. Tight but adequate. Lived the little window where we could watch all the activity on street. Bathroom was awesome. Location was perfect. We were near Rossi square and could walk to festivities and parade on carnation day

The staff at front desk was not friendly and though they made a reservation for us, they were not helpful with taxis or directions. On the holiday we were told we could just flag a taxi outside on the street. The street had been closed to vehicular traffic all day and was swarming with people. We finally found one by walking away from the festivities until we found an open street. I have difficulty with stairs, which was obvious to se real employees but wasn’t told there was an elevator till the last day when a young boy was at the desk and helped me

Very polite and helpful staff even when it was extremely busy - it was also nice to see senior staff helping out. Its a beautiful building and very clean throughout. Budget room was small but good value for the location. Breakfast was also good value and very pleasant.

Was messaged through booking.com chat from the hotel asking for verification payments. Luckily my credit card declined this payment as fraud which I confirmed with the hotel when checking out. I very nearly lost £400 through this scam, they informed me they are aware of the issue and it is being dealt with, however this could have been easily avoided if they'd sent out a message telling me to ignore the scam messages. Roomwise there was a loud humming noise close by all night and the beds were a little hard, though we had a budget room so I expect more premium rooms wouldn't have this issue.

The location is just perfect and close to local bus and underground stations. Paddington is just a short walk away. We opted for breakfast at booking and what a great idea it was. We had a lovely breakfast every morning (a large selection of continental and English breakfast). Our room was always clean with fresh bedding and towels every day. I would like to thank everything for Ano and Olga and all the other friendly staff at reception.

We've seen the full, overflowing rubbish bins under the window of our room...we got what we paid for...view of the service yard with loud air conditioning units. Fortunately, I slept with ear plugs but it was impossible to watch tv because of the constant noise. There were some embarrassing moments as well but that's due to the old water and pipe system.

the standerd rooms were very small and old furnıture, however the execitive rooms were great and we had to upgrade to have a good stay

The hotel is in excellent location with easy public transport access and also attractions within walking distance and a beautiful park on the doorstep. The reception and staff are great. Room is a bit dated with old carpets. I took my 75 yrs old aunt to visit London and she loved the hotel, everything about it. There is even a small ironing board with iron in the room. None of the negative points below affected her. I would choose something more modern myself however considering the price and location I would stay again. They also let you store luggage after heck out.

You need an extra long cable to reach the socket from the bed (to watch/use alarm on mobile). There is an edge on top of the bathtub. Although it has massive signs to watch out I hit it twice nearly knocking myself out (5.4”) The carpet in the room is really old.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Perfect location, just 2 min away from the subway and 50 meters from Hyde park. Comfortable room, clean sheets and bathroom. Nice English breakfast. The price by London standards is perfect!

The only thing missing from breakfast were fresh vegetables :( The moquette in the room had a lot of stains (not fresh ones), but I believe that's a disadvantage of any hotel room with carpets.. The bed and bathroom doors were a bit worn out. We had to use the AC during our stay, as without it, the room was humid and a bit cold. (AC worked perfectly). The downside part of it was that it was directed right at the bed, and the air flow was pretty strong (even at the low level). So, if you're laying in bed, it blows straight at your face.

Excellent location (2 minute walk from the metro and bus station that was very central - so convenient) and directly opposite Hyde Park. The hotel was lovely as were the staff. Room was basic but clean. Beds very comfortable. They offered us an upgraded room (recently renovated) for a small extra fee but because we weren't going to be staying long hours in the hotel I didn't accept, but a very good offer from the hotel nonetheless. I always stay in Hyde Park when I come to London, as I love the area and its very central, so the hotel was a very good choice.

The window of our room was not clean and we didn't have a good view, however as we weren't stay long hours in the room it didn't bother us!

Breakfast options good. Location of table day one not good - in a dark, pokey corner Day Two much better - in an open area of the restaurant, elevated above the general walkway

No orange juice available all the time I stayed. I asked for some - quite a dismissive response indicating other options but no orange juice for three days is not good I paid a supplement for an upgraded room which was comfortable but small; what a not upgraded room is like I wonder ... a little disappointed.

Check in was good room was great nice park view comfortable and clean the bed and linen were excellent Staff friendly and helpful

Was disappointed with the breakfast stayed at the hotel before when there was a much better choice and quality There were no egg options like fried or poached only scrambled which were not cooked well too sloppy and runny There was no choice of bread only sliced brown or white always used to be small white and bread rolls which are much better to eat with the ham and cheese option and the pastries which used to be light and tasty the two options were too doughy and relatively tasteless.

Love the hotel as the location is quiet and not too far away from anywhere.Staff always friendly and helpful.Upgraded room to a business deluxe good price.

Unfortunately the bathroom was strange.The shower area had no door or shower tray the water just ran down a grid in the floor toilet right near the door so floor soaking wet as shower sprayed out and sink was to the left of the shower so you had to wade through water on floor to use sink very bad design.Also two pillows should be mandatory.
