Small but comfy room but was for a short break for one night only and convenient for a nearby event. Room was clean and warm.

Couldn't get hotel wifi in the room, connected to a local pub wifi and now getting bombarded with emails. One of the lifts wasn't working which meant a slightly more circuitous route to my room.

A beautiful hotel in a very central location, very close to Lancaster Bridge train station and fifteen minutes' walk from Paddington station. The hotel is beautifully decorated, the breakfast is good and varied and the staff is wonderful, both at the reception and in the dining room, requests are welcome. Since I was traveling alone, I got a single room with a single bed, the room was definitely enough for what I needed. In addition, when you hang the "Please clean my room" sign, they also take care of clean coffee cups, coffee cups and milk, as well as cookies. A wonderful way to start the morning even before going down to the dining room. Every request I made even before I arrived was met with settlement, when I arrived I was happy to find a wonderful staff that helped me find my way around a bit. Really wonderful, I'm sure I'll come back again!

One small thing I would add, a bottle of water. The air conditioning dryer and a bottle of water in the room would have been really helpful.

I recently had an issue during my stay at the hotel, and I want to express my gratitude to Operations Manager Wajdy Moussa for the exceptional way he handled my complaint. From the moment I approached him, Wajdy was professional, attentive, and empathetic. He listened carefully to my concerns and took immediate action to address the problem. What truly stood out was his commitment to ensuring that my experience turned around completely. Not only did he resolve the issue promptly, but he went above and beyond to make me feel valued and appreciated as a guest. Thanks to his efforts, what started as a negative situation turned into a positive and memorable experience. Wajdy’s dedication to excellent service and his ability to lead with care and professionalism reflect the high standards of the hotel. I truly appreciate his efforts and highly commend his outstanding approach to guest satisfaction!

1. I loved the library lobby, I can spend hours sitting there without feeling bored, especially when there's a complementary mint-lemon water jar and a bar. 2. Rooms were very comfortable. 3. Staff was helpful and cooperative.

1. Elevators have to be modified, enhanced or even replaced for there only two old, extremely slow and very cramped elevators. 2. There wasn't even one complementary water bottle in the room. 3. To open or shut the window, you have to stand in so narrow space between the end of the bed and the wall. 4. Safe box was not operating well I had to ask them to manually open it for me, I mentioned this because I heard the same complaint raised to front desk by another guest who had a problem with her safe box.

The location is absolutely amazing. It is just a 3-min walk from Hyde Park. The area is so lovely. Lancaster Gate Street is very quiet, and then you can turn right or left and you will be in a very dynamic area. Loads of Cafes, restaurants, and pubs.

There was not anything that we did not like. However, they can improve the facilities. For examples, the toilet fan was a bit noisy. I think they should supervise the food ordered and delivered to the hotel before it gets to the guests as well. This helps avoiding any issues.

Location was quiet and near to Hyde Park. Underground station was nearby. Room was extremely clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast was good value for money with a excellent choice of cold and hot food. Staff were very accommodating and friendly.

TV placed in a different position as we got a crick in the neck watching it sideways whilst laying on the bed. No shower mat, which was a safety issue. We couldn't close the window as blocked off with wooden blocks screwed into the frame. It was lucky that the evening was warm as if it had been raining or cold it would have been a problem. Also, the window caused a problem with noise, scaffolding outside which was a security issue.

Brilliant location - good size room, very good selection for breakfast and lovely staff. Allowed us to check in early as we wanted to store our bags. Very quiet and peaceful area, we didn’t hear anything during the night even though our room was located just outside the lift. Very comfortable bed! Only few minutes away from underground which was a huge bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

Room didn’t have a nice view and for the price we have paid I would’ve liked it. Bathroom was extremely warm as the tower rail was on at all times. Only found a switch for it on the last day which was located in the bedroom near the table so it wasn’t visible. Nothing major, really enjoyed our stay here.

Everything was good and particularly ABZ was extremely helpful and went out of his way to assist always.

22nd November 2023 night shift staff was not good. We required assistance with our bags during checkout as we had kept them in the storage room. the bags were to be loaded into the taxi. they wasted 20mins and finally when we asked what's going on they said they don't have a porter and one staff said he has a back problem. I had just undergone a knee surgery so that is why we requested for help. I think there were 3 or 2 staff and neither helped. The issue was not that they could not help but the way they handled the situation. firstly wasted 20mins as clearly they did not want to help but were not telling us, secondly were borderline rude and lastly did not understand our situation or even try to.

Library bar is excellent. Close yo Tube station. Room is very ok.

Cold bathroom

Spot on for my needs in terms of location. Actually used to use a Hotel one stop further on the underground than this at a similar price. I stay here now every time I'm in town. Much better value for money. The small rooms are exactly that, but facilities are great. Larger rooms are huge. Same facilities, but much bigger. Both are more than acceptable. Cleanliness always good and comfortable beds too. I was unsure what to expect at the price but the Hotel is a grand old building, very nicely presented inside and out. Excellent access to Underground (Lancaster Gate) and great connection options for wherever you need to get to. Climate control in the rooms is great. Ironing board and iron are ideal as are the tea and coffee making facilities. Great work space and sockets to power whatever you need. Everything you need and nothing you don't!

Nothing. All expectations met at the price point.
