This was our second visit to Tropical Deluxe Princess (came the same time last year) and our stay was even better this time. The resort is absolutely stunning! It’s smaller, well planned out and never feels too crowded which we love. The family rooms are spacious and perfect with separate areas and bathrooms for adults and kids, beds are comfortable, showers have good pressure - everything you would want. We found the food to be a lot better this time compared to last year and were really happy with everything. We even ran into a lot of staff from last year and it was nice that they recognised us and welcomed us back like old friends. We travelled as a group of 9, including young kids, parents and grandparents and the resort catered to all. A special thank you to Alexandra at the kids club for taking such good care of our boys, to Andres and Patricio at the platinum club for the best drinks and lunches, Emilio for his amazing energy and friendliness with the whole family and though I didn’t get his name, the amazing young man who made us eggs and omelettes every morning at the buffet. We will be back!

Nothing really, however fresh water is only served in small glasses from the bars. Would be great if the resort could add water bottle fill up stations in places like the lobby, the beach house and the buffet so that patrons can fill their own bottles throughout the day.

They have great pools, including the kids one. The family room is spacious and comfortable. The restaurants are really good. It's a great placento stay with kids.

The free Internet is terrible, you need to pay for a reliable connection. The sales representatives from the vacation club, who sell their timeshare, are very stubborn and don't take 'no' for an answer; my husband had to say 'no' more than ten times, so we could leave the office.

We liked the fact that we could see animals in it, my toddler was delighted with the pool. My elder daughter had her best time at the ice cream parlor. Staff members were all amazing to us. We had to enjoy different menus per day at the buffet…🤭 leaving with extra pounds!!!! Amazing soap in the bedroom!!!

The hotel looks new or renovated. All furniture looks new and/or contemporary. The food is decent and well-presented, they even have some gluten-free options at the buffet. We loved the food and drinks at the Sports Bar, which is open 24/7. The hotel has 3 pools, one with a small water park, one with loud music and an inside bar, and a quiet pool with background music and a snack bar in front. They are cleaning the "Sargasso" in the morning, so we could enjoy the beach. The beach has perfect sand. The room was nice and clean.

You have to pay additional costs at the Sports Bar for the games (bowling, etc). At restaurants, they are more focused on serving coffee and water and picking up the dishes, which is great, but if you are more into wine, or mimosa, you'll have to wait a bit more, though at bars the service is fast and great.

People were friendly. Food was good. It was a nice relaxing trip for my family and I.

I did not like that they let the locals in on Friday afternoon/Saturday. All of a sudden there was an influx of people (especially at the buffets). We went from a nice clam relaxing trip to waiting on lines to get in for food. We can deal with lines but the people were rude and cutting in front of other people. No manners at all. There was even a fist fight in the buffet because of this . Also the people at the beach were pushy with trying to get you to do excursions. Everyday the same people.

Pleanty of pool areas and excellent buffet. Excellent personnel with one exception.

One Employee named Jhon almost turned our vacations into a nightmare. He was very disrespectful toward my wife and daughter with an inappropriate attitude and comments. Very unprofessional in the way he treated female tourists. He almost touched my wife and daughter while pouring water in their glasses. Approached my wife in a non professional manner offering wine without being asked. I asked for a beer and he never brought it. I placed a complaint on his inappropriate behavior towards them.

Excellent: The design of the hotel; the little lake with flamingos and the three pools. In addition an aqua park for kids and really nice mini club with attentive staff (Yorleni and Alexandra). It is the perfect hotel for families. Good: The buffet is good and also excellent the concept of booking the internal restaurants. (Very good the Mexican restaurant). Two of these 6 restaurants are to be paid but with a reasonable amount and they are really worth it. In one of these restaurants I had the big lobster ever :) The local staff was really nice and welcoming (in particular Tatiana). The hotel has all facilities and just front beach. The animation was in Spanish and English.

The first days were a bit difficult as the requests made through booking.com were not taken into account for the room. After 2 days going back and forward to the reception and thanks to booking.com intervention, we had a nicer room for the honeymoon and the management apologised. We moved on and had a great time at the hotel for two weeks. The beach is windy (perfect when it is too hot) but the waves are not good for 2-3 years old kids, you need to walk along the beach for 5-10min to have a calm seaside. We were unlucky on the second week of our stay with the seaweed season stating end of May.

I loved the pool area. Plenty of pools, and the kids area was great. We loved the ice cream 🍦 and we ate at the buffet everyday, it was not bad, and we had plenty of choices

The receptionist was speaking a bad English, did not understand half of what she was saying. Not even a smile, nothing. I suggest you put in the bathrooms a toilet brush. Also cleaning was superficial, and you should use more products to kill insects in the rooms. We were eaten by spiders, mosquitoes and i was a moment asking myself if they were not having fleece in the rooms. Other than that, we had an excellent holiday.

Food was not that great, however enjoyed la cava and platinum dinner. Fogo and Tao dissapointing. Buffet was ok

Loved everything about our stay. The grounds were beautiful and everything was spread out so it didn’t feel too crowded.

I didn’t like being approached several times on the beach each day by people trying to sell souvenirs or experiences, the alcoholic beverages were not strong enough, and the food at the restaurants didn’t stand out. The buffet was amazing though. Also- our excursion to snorkel was less than desirable. They took us to one spot and we snorkeled for about 15 minutes then they took us to this area where Dolphin were caged in an enclosure and tried to sell us a dolphin experience for $100 more for each person. Felt bad for the Dolphin and we were taken advantage of when all we wanted to do was snorkeling!
