The hotel was perfectly located in Old San Juan within walking distance to shopping, food, and historical sights. Parking in Old San Juan is a challenge, and we had to walk a couple of blocks with our luggage when arriving and departing. There wasn't a clear area to stop and drop off. So pack light. Also, be prepared to hear all the excitement of the streets from your room, especially on the weekend nights. The facility itself was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Just keep in mind that you are on island time and allow yourself to slow down while here. The rooftop pool is quaint and perfect for a quick dip after a hot day. Especially liked the convince of a bar for food and drink right beside it. The food is brought up from the restaurant downstairs, so be prepared to wait. But you can enjoy the cozy poolside area while you do.

Services take longer than you anticipate, but that is true for everywhere we visited on the island. We just adjusted our expectations to relax mode. The location isn't completely secure, with an open courtyard that can be accessed immediately from the street, so be sure to lock your doors.

The front desk staff and management are exceptionally helpful and attentive. All requests were handled efficiently, email questions were answered completely and we felt very well attended. The location is excellent for walking around Old San Juan. There is a great spot for outdoor corner cafe for coffee and pastries close by. The city works diligently to keep the streets spotlessly clean and safe. There are street sweepers working night and day to sweep up any fallen leaves and more than adequate security/police patrolling the area. There is an abundance of beautiful architecture within walking distance of the hotel.

Excellent location , located next to a small placita. So easy to walk to all areas. Pool area was pretty and staff was excellent . Front desk staff always friendly. Loved the coconut icee at the desk. Super clean and spacious hotel.

The king room on 1st floor we were in, the wood shutter makes the room dark. Wish you had more ligh or they could adjust. The rooms were big and pretty though . Bathroom very roomy. They need more hangers in wardrobe cabinet to start with.

I loved the aesthetics and vibe. Also free charcuteries, wine and Rose as well as free champagne at certain parts of the day. The location is unbeatable in the middle of Old San Juan.

We kept having to ask for toilet paper. Also when they cleaned the room they kept taking the toilet paper that was left. The first visit to the restaurant ( Consular) was ok, service was slow and our food came out separately. The second visit the service was much better. Both times the food was great.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The aesthetics were inviting, appealing, and very clean. We enjoyed many of the spaces. We loved the beautiful water features and plants. Having bottled water available was very helpful. The rooftop pool area made a lovely place to cool off after a hot day around the town. The Internet worked great. The shower was luxurious. The beds and linens were very comfortable. Having robes and slippers was a useful plus.

We heard a lot of noise. Neighbors stayed up VERY late having a party. At 3 am they were still going strong. Night two there was a rooftop party, directly above us, which also kept us up. I do wish the balcony opened but that wasn't a show-stopper.

Property is beautiful and in a great location. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Beds were comfortable and showers nice and big. Lots of space.

They should warn everyone that there is no parking in the city. It’s almost impossible. They finally let us park for a few hours in the front after circling for two hours to find a spot. This should be made very clear that there is no parking. The employee did handle it for us after speaking with her manager. The front desk employees are very sweet and helpful. I will definitely be back to the hotel in the future.

Henry Neumann and Orlando were AMAZING! Great customer service from these 2 professionals. Giovanni and Jonathan, the rooftop bartenders, were also wonderful. Henry Neumann was by far the most impressive in that he really showed care and concern for our comfort.

Edgar and Daniel were both rude, unprofessional, and liars. They both showed total disrespect and disregard for the customer.

Pros: Arguably the best hotel in Old San Juan at present. Excellent location and facilities--great rooftop pool and area. Modern and spacious rooms with high ceilings. The adult-only policy is a plus for couples or solo travelers.

Cons: Restaurant was closed, though they provided a small complimentary continental breakfast. Work was being done on the rooftop, which was noisy at times. Housekeeping was inconsistent with their timing and efficiency. Staff was nice, but some seemed unconcerned with our requests/concerns.

Great location in Old San Juan. Wonderful roof top pool, hot tub and bar! Court yard quiet, clean with comfortable outdoor furniture with lots of plants, water fall wall and good lighting. Plus a library!

The only small thing. Our first floor room was unique with very high ceiling, with a comfortable bed and nice shower. Huge window but minimal natural light comes in and lighting is good but still a little dark. The ONLY minimal thought.

Would have liked more diversity in the hotels restaurant, but the staff was great and breakfast was good. Hotel prices of course, but that's to be expected.

We changed rooms to a bigger room. Somehow it took 2 days of no room cleaning to get it finally cleaned. We did notify the desk each day of this, but for whatever reason, the staff didn't come and clean the room until we bypassed the desk staff and spoke with the manager. My guess is that the room change was the culprit. Due to the hotel being next to a government building, getting a cab or Uber is difficult at the hotel. You have to walk down the street to do so.
