Our stay at the UHI Inverness accommodation was absolutely outstanding. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, which made our stay very pleasant. Our room was clean and nicely furnished, so we felt comfortable immediately. The shared kitchen was practical and had everything needed for meal preparation. It was clean and well-maintained. Although the location of the accommodation is not directly in the center, it was not a problem. Thanks to the bus stop right in front of the accommodation, we were quickly in the city center. Inverness itself is a beautiful city with a lot of charm. All in all, we can highly recommend the UHI Inverness accommodation and will definitely come back.

Very beautiful campus. Very courteous and helpful staff. Our studio was spic and span and well furnished. Please remember to take shower gel and hand wash as the facility does not provide this. There was also a small refrigerator that made it very easy to store stuff. Not an issue with the property, but if you do not have your own transport/car, on Sunday the bus service to and from the facility is patchy.

I was visiting someone at Raigmore hospital and could walk there in 15 minutes. It was quiet, warm, clean and comfortable Use of kitchen

No soap hairdryer or TV. Didn’t expect TV or hairdryer but sop would be nice No shops anywhere near so bring everything such as tea bags etc.

The bed was comfortable and the kitchen facilities were generally good. The water was warm whenever I wanted it to be.

The room was very warm considering the temperature was only 20-22 degrees celsius outside during the day. The kitchen sink plug did not stop water flowing down the drain, so I bought a washing up bowl for £1.69!

Very close to city centre, great bus service.

The post code is incorrect on booking.com, ended up at private housing estate, elderly residents . Location should be stated on website, accommodation is next to University Highlands and Islands. This address should be given instead: 12b Ness Walk , Inverness IV3 5SQ.

I liked room layout with own ensuite etc, The kitchen was well appointed, clean and tidy.

Both light & fan in ensuite were on permanently in spite of bringing to notice of staff. Cooker hood filter was clogged so not actually extracting heat and fumes when turned on. TV was not functioning.

- really nice and helpful staff (Raymond unplugged a shower drain on the first evening, the next day he brought some pots to the kitchen as there was only a colander); - comfortable bed; - clean shared kitchen with necessary cooking facilities; - peaceful area.

- mosquito net on the kitchen/room window would be useful

Good price for peak holiday time. Friendly staff. Clean functional room - no frills. Kitchen was good to have - fridge, toaster microwave and kettle. Plenty space to self-cater and save money

Restaurants within walking distance aren't great (Pizza Hut, Nando's etc.)- better to drive into Inverness. Mattress a bit soft and thin. Room looks like what it is, a recently emptied student bedroom - a picture or two on the wall would help. Doors can be really noisy if left to close automatically

The kitchen area. The cleanliness. The security guy name Gavrin. I absolutely LOVED the landscaping. I spent a delightful evening sitting on the rocks by the pond just enjoying the setting sun and quacking ducks.

My door didn’t lock. I did ask the security guy, (not Gavin) and they said they’d attend to it but didn’t.

It provided an opportunity for affordable accommodation with provision for self-catering during the main tourist season close to Inverness.

The location is slightly noisy: train line one side; air ambulance and A9 nearby. Also, being close to a talking lift was a bit noisy. Great to have self-catering and provision of washing up liquid was appreciated, but I would also have expected provision of a dish cloth/ brush and drying up cloth.
