The hotel is very well situated, close enough to walk into town centre but far enough away to miss the noise and bustle at night. Cannot praise the staff enough for their support and service towards us while in the hotel- especially the restaurant staff who were fantastic. Our room was large and spacious and the balcony gave us a fantastic view of the mountain ranges especially when the sun was coming up in the morning!

The bathroom attached to our room needs some work and perhaps an update. The shower screens did not close properly and leaked water all over the floor. Not a huge problem, and this would be easy to fix, but it did cause a bit of a mess any time we took a shower. The shower floor was also quite worn ( and perhaps a bit dirty) and could do with a deep clean or upgrade.

The hotel was lovely, our room was extremely clean and we had a wonderful view looking out onto the mountains from our balcony. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner that the hotel provided. The staff were all very helpful during our stay, especially Hanh who took the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. The location was excellent as it was a short walk away from the main centre of Sapa but still tucked away in a quiet area making it very easy to relax and sleep! Sapa is very busy at night time so this hotel was perfectly located.

We were quoted $390 for a return taxi from Hanoi airport to the hotel. We managed to find a taxi that cost us £200 for both ways, so we felt the hotel should have offered a cheaper alternative. The pool looked nice in the photos, but where it was located at the front of the hotel it was always in the shade.

We really enjoyed our stay here at Aliana boutique Sapa hotel and spa. It’s up on a hill so getting to it can be a little difficult if you are just going to walk but using grab was so easy and convenient to get here. The staff were kind, warm and welcoming. We came in early December so the mist blocked the view but when it receded wow! Such a great view of the iconic monorail. The room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay here in sapa. It’s a great stay for the price. We would recommend this place.

> extremely friendly & attentive staff (not exaggerated - instead authentic) - We arrived via the sleeper bus very early in the morning & they were so kind to allow us early check-in at 6 a.m. - which was a tremendous relief after this little adventure. - Additionally, as we left Sapa quite late, they offered us a shower even though we already checked out before noon. (which was great after doing a trekking tour at the same day) - The staff also supported us with any kind of request - either it be recommendations for places to visit, transport methods, etc. > comfy, clean, spacious, modern & very well equipped room. (the aircon could be used as a heating system as well - which was great during our travel time) Would say one of the best rooms we had in our overall Vietnam-trip > breakfast had a good variety & was delicious (in our case it was partly buffet and the hot dishes could be ordered a la carte - therefore everything was fresh) > We did some trekking, got up to Fansipan & also rented a scooter to get around on our own. - everything was easily accessible (eg. by foot) from this hotel. So the location was beneficial for our plans.

There was not a single issue or anything severe which we did not like. If we would have to mention a downside it would probably be ... - the door to the balcony was a bit leaky. Leading to the fact that we could hear a dog barking in the neighborhood (for quite a long time). - but this is really nitpicking from our side! - Additionally, we understand that some reviewers mention that the street to the hotel is not the nicest. - it's a bit steep, unlighted & dirty as construction work is going on around. However as we're young & fit this was not a topic for us. For us, this fact should not be an issue for elderly people either, as there are plenty of "electric taxis"/"golf carts" in Sapa who will take you to the hotel.

Very good view from the balcony from our room, which was upgraded to a penthouse. The staff are very helpful especially the lady at the reception who has been very helpful to attend to my friend who has hurt her ankle. Spa experience is good too, although not enough staff. Only 1 masseur is available for the whole resort over the 2 days we were there.

Breakfast can be improved. Lights at the first floor of our room can be brighter. Unable to set the Tv to English and the TV programs were all in Vietnamese, which is not very helpful to foreigners.

Everything was wonderful very helpful staff at all levels. We left early on the day of our departure and a breakfast box was made for us. It’s a 7 min walk to town but that does allow for it to be quieter at night for sleeping. We didn’t need aircon and slept with door to balcony open so was pleasant change. They however probably don’t recommend this but we felt quite secure. The mountains were a little shy but the hotel is not responsible for this. We had a lovely room . Would stay there again.

No issues at all

We had an exceptional time at Aliana. The staff are helpful and welcoming, and went above and beyond for our 12.30am check in due to a late sleeper bus. The rooms are so spacious with an incredible view of the mountains/valley, and the location of the hotel is perfect - just the right amount of time to help digest the delicious food from one of the restaurants in town. Don't hesitate to stay in and eat at aliana though - the food here is also delicious and fresh.

Great location just outside the busy centre of Sapa in a nice quiet street with beautiful views. Nice big rooms, friendly staff, comfy beds. Everything was perfect really.

Only thing that comes to mind is that they could have been more helpful booking transportation. They only help booking busses to Hanoi, but since we needed to go somewhere else we had to figure it out ourselves and it took us a full morning.

Great mountain view. Hotel seems to be relatively new with nice decorations. Staff tried to be helpful. Bed and sofa were nicely firm and comfortable.

I stayed for 2nights. 1st night there was construction noise at 1am. After that dog started barking & followed by the rooster. 2nd night some guests had fight at 1am shouting & slamming doors.

We love the room, design, the whole hotel is beautiful. Staff really helpful always giving us the best options for what we needed, they let us stay until 2 pm for check out. Pool is good not too big. Breakfsst many options, good service. Room service was good and fast. The location and view are beautiful from room window even. Would recommend.
