I read a few reviews that the beds weren’t comfortable, but I had no problem with the bed in my room. The room was comfortable & plenty of space. Pretty clean considering the age of the place. Great location, very central. Milk, tea, coffee, biscuits & toiletries provided.

Could do with a microwave. I don’t need one for my short stay if 2 nights, but if I had the family with me it would be handy for our toddler. The pool wasn’t super clean, but nothing that would keep you out, just a few bugs in the surface. Shower curtain could do with a weighted base to stop it blowing in. Couldn’t connect to the wifi, but reception with Vodafone wasn’t actually too bad.

Good sized unit, very clean, comfortable bed, well situated to the shopping area. Very nice staff and all the wild life was a real bonus. Will stay again. Although old styled and needing redecorating, it was very quiet, despite being heavily booked. Appreciated the tea, coffee and biscuits plus the free toiletries.

The bathroom was on the small side and the tap dripped the entire two nights we were there. The microwave although handy was a very old model. Parking bays were way to small for todays larger cars and SUV’s. The Holiday Lodges roads were full of potholes and as it was raining it was difficult to assess their depth. The T V was also on the small side but watchable.

Room was exceptional, massive, indoor Jacuzzi was a crazy surprise and was great after a long day hiking. Loved the fireplace. Very 80s vibe so kinda hilarious but an excellent room, comfortable, highly relaxing and very clean

The wifi was kaput. Didn't work at all in the room and you had to sit outside to use it. It was freezing outside too Also, the reception said check in was open until 8pm. We arrived at 545pm and there was no one there, and you can't call the number on the door because there's no cell coverage in town. We had to go to a bar down the road to call them and let us in our room. A bit stressful and the guy seemed a bit annoyed we called him 😂

Location was fantastic; central, with great proximity to shops and hiking trails, but also very quiet. Lots of wildlife right outside. Room was older but clean and I had everything that I needed. Not fancy but definitely a good value option for if you just want somewhere basic and convenient to crash out in between hikes. I'd definitely stay again.

As others have said, could use a little TLC. There was some water hammering in the taps which was probably annoying to my neighbours, one of the bathroom lights flickered, and the garden area could be better maintained (there was some litter about). No deal breakers, though.

The spacious room. The fry pan in the kitchen can make simple meals.

The drawer where the forks and spoons are put is not clean. The receptionist can be more helpful by giving us more information of the facilities. We bought charcoal, lighter and matches but didn't find the place to use them for barbecue. The only one stove that worked behind the reception office is an electric one. We later used the fry pan to make a meal. Halls Gap licensed general store wouldn't give us refund for the barbecue materials even though they were not opened at all.

Spacious. Great heat pump. Very handy to shops Kitchenette had an electric fry pan, a fridge freeze and microwave. These we're not listed under facilities on Booking.com. (King room with disability access). We got fresh free range eggs, mushroom and a tomatoe from the excellent store (closes 9pm) and had scrambled eggs for dinner. The overnight rate seemed reasonable.

Room has not been refurbished since built in the 1970s. Top sheet was threadbare.

Size of unit Closeness to the centre of Halls Gap Facilities- pool and BBQs though not used

There was a sense of desertion. Though I had texts when the wifi did not work, I saw no one and the wifi really was unsatisfactory. On the last morning there was a blackout- no electricity. But there was no management present. As we left there was no one at the office for the key 9.00 am. There was little evidence of care of the gardens which should be a feature of this place for families. The Kangaroos seemed to have the lawn mowing contract, they will make it dust in summer. Weeds have invaded the garden. We were there for 3 days and there was no room servicing - we had barely adequate supplies but a clean tea towel would have been appreciated.

Very large room, comfortable bed. Kangaroos right outside the room! Easy parking. Location was great, especially the location of our room, very easy access to shops and restaurants. Helpful staff. Very simple check-in and out (didn't even have to step foot in reception). I would stay here again.

Pool - dont book this place for the pool! Looks NOTHING like the photos. It looked like it hadn't been touched in 50 years! Desperately needed cleaning and topping up / refilling. Looked abandoned. We dare not get in it.

Although the accommodation is old, it is very well maintained and extremely clean. Our stay was very comfortable, with plenty of space and multiple rooms to spread out into, good heating (required when we stayed), sink and crockery/cutlery provided. Location was fantastic, with centre of town and all that it offers, only a 2 minute walk away (if that). All units are in small blocks of about 6, spread over a large property filled with magnificent trees (and the birds that frequent or live in them), lawns and garden, with a couple of bbq and seating areas. Very, very quiet. Not least is the fantastic view through the trees of the Grampians. Pinnacle Holiday Lodge is definitely a place to return to for us.

There was nothing we didn't like about Pinnacle Holiday Lodge, though for some its age might be a deterrent, though it shouldn't be.

The rooms were big. The location was perfect and walking distance to everything. Staff were friendly. The pool was good and heated to a Luke warm temp. We used the electric fry pan for cooking which was great. We also used laundry services.

There was a cord through one of the sheets near the pillow which was weird. The double bed was hard and pillows not great. There was a disgusting amount of rubbish over flowing from the big bins near the laundry. The laundry room was run down.
