the hosts were terrific and have put a lot of effort into making it a pleasant stay, the fridge was well very generously stocked and there were binoculars in the room to look out to sea - the view was lovely. Good base from which to explore the area which has some lovely towns and sites.

the town is not very active, there are no pubs providing food and no restaurants to speak of. a couple of cafes open during the day and a couple of take out places. none of this is the fault of the hosts, but it does mean the location is a bit lacking unless you want total peace and quiet and are happy to drive to dinner.

Sharon and Paul were delightful hosts! Warm and welcoming, and took the time to answer questions I had about other activities in the area before we arrived. The house itself was so charming, and clearly well cared for. Our rooms were perfect - cozy and clean, with an amazing view of the sea. Breakfast was delicious, made by Sharon and served by Paul, with lots of options to choose from! I would love to stay here again someday!

I wish we could have stayed longer!

This has to be the best guest house we have stayed in. Friendly hosts, exceptionally clean, well-presented room with very comfortable four poster bed, dressing room and above average size en-suite. Extra snacks & drinks provided, fresh milk in a quiet fridge, together with binoculars to make the most of the spectacular sea views over to Anglesey & Llandudno. Amazing choice for breakfast served in bright dining room. China tea cups, quality food and relaxing atmosphere. Peaceful location right on Wales coastal path, good bus service to Bangor & Conwy and close to railway station.

Comfortable guest house run by the wonderful Sharon & Paul. Room was lovely with great sea views plus little extras such as fruit juice and nibbles along with the tea & coffee facilities and accompanying biscuits. Breakfast was excellent, more than enough to set you up for the day ahead. Area was quiet at night time so we slept well.

Nothing to dislike

Everything! Every attention to detail was met right down to beautiful custom wallpaper. Renovated rooms are done to a high standard and they are equipt with everything one could possible want. A stocked fridge, teddy bears, binoculars & robes. Even information and tips for dining both written and verbal through Paul's knowledge regarding the area's history (Puffin Island, the Castles, Llanberis). We also took Paul's advice for a meal and went to the Conwy Marina and it was very good. The area has great scenery/conservation and the backroads through the Sychnant Pass are stunning. In the morning Sharon made a delicious home cooked breakfast in the lovely dining room facing the beach. We loved every minute of our short stay and wished we could have stayed longer. Sharon & Paul are great hosts and very personable and you will not be disappointed. They are a credit to their local B&B industry.

To be honest I can't answer as it was all so good.

The suite we had was lovely. Our room had gorgeous sea views and was so welcoming with lovely treats and drinks for us. The room was very comfortable with armchairs looking out to sea and binoculars for us to use. We had all the facilities we needed and as we mentioned our son was coeliac Paul the owner made him a special breakfast which was gluten free, our son said it was delicious. Paul and Sharon go out of their way to make sure you have a lovely stay.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Great location. Lovely furnishings. Good responsive communication. Sharon and Paul were flexible with our later checkin, and were most welcoming and friendly when we arrived. They took time to show us around and explain everything. Breakfast was preordered and was ready at our scheduled time, immaculately presented right down to the lovely tea sets and crockery. They provided good information about what to see on the next leg of our journey.

lots of little touches to enhance our stay, i.e. foot stool to help get on the wonderful fourposter bed, small bottle of milk in silent running fridge, snack bars & peanuts, binoculars for the great view, ect.

I didn't like the fact that i couldn't find anything to complain about ( practicing to be a grumpy old man)

From the moment we arrived we could tell that Paul and Sharon would go over and above to ensure that their guests were given the best possible welcome. From showing us to our room and fully explaining the facilities, to all the lovely extras in the room like proper mugs and a teapot for drinks, fresh orange juice ,bottles of water and fresh milk (and prosecco!) in the fridge to quality towels, bathrobes and high end toiletries in the bathroom. Our room was extremely spacious and airy and beautifully furnished . The bed was really comfortable and the view out of the bay window was stunning. And the breakfasts! You certainly won't be disappointed. Plenty of choice of quality items with excellent attention to detail and beautifully laid tables. We thoroughly recommend a stay at Min Y Don.

Nothing at all

Excellent guest house. Very friendly and helpful. Dried our wet walking gear and even lent us dry coats so that we could go out in the evening. The host have paid a lot of attention to detail, ie real coffee in the rooms and even a complimentary glass of prosecco.

Eating out in Llanfairfechan is limited. For dining options, it is necessary to go to Conwy or Bangor. However, they are only 10 minutes train journey away.
