We've stayed here before, so know that the Townhouse is in a central location, and yet it is quiet. The staff were all friendly and professional. Rooms are tastefully decorated and comfortable, as are the beds. While there is no parking at the hotel, the huge car park on the seafront is good, close by, and only £6 per day.

We did enjoy our stay! However, there have been some changes. There used to be coffee machines in the rooms, but sadly, these have disappeared and been replaced by the standard hotel tray of coffee sachets. Scottish Soap Co. toiletries in a Welsh Hotel?! Although they are good quality items, I was disappointed not to see the Cole & Co. brand which used to be in the bathrooms and which is local. The hotel has been taken over by a chain, but I think local businesses should be supported - these little things are what used to make the hotel stand out as that bit more special. Cooked breakfast was good, but the continental buffet was limited.

Always have a lovely stay here, beautiful hotel, clean, quirky rooms, great food, very friendly helpful staff.

Room 118 Beautiful spacious room but noise from the kitchen below spoiled our stay this time. We were informed it would be turned off at 10pm. The extractor fan went off around 11.15pm only because we rang and asked if it could be turned off, all night could hear another electrical device turning on and off. Then at 6am the extractor fan was started again for breakfast. So feeling a bit tired today! Overall very good stay as usual and feel bad commenting about this but advise you to avoid this room unless you bring your ear plugs😃

From start to finish, our stay was amazing. When we arrived we checked in at the bar, and Adam was an absolute gent. He was so lovely with us, and made us feel at home. Absolute 10/10 service from him. Our room was spacious, and clean. The bed was so comfy as well I slept like a baby! The bathroom was great too. To top it off when we went for some drinks at the bar, we were asked nicely if we could move to the lounge because me and my girlfriend were on a large table. We were asked in such a lovely way we happly moved and what made it extra special was the staff member gave us drinks as a thank you. A lovely touch and he didn't have to do so. Great customer service all around!! 😊 Breakfast was lovely and our overall stay was perfect. I dont always give 10/10 but the customer service was so good with Adam and the rest of the staff I think its totally deserved! Highly recommended! Thank you.

Nothing.

This Inn is in the heart of Beaumaris. It has a centuries old front bar but has been extended to provide a very comfortable lounge as well as a restaurant area at the back and a courtyard seating area. There are two bars where you can order food and/or drink and you can eat or drink in any of the 3 areas. The staff were all really friendly, efficient and helpful. The food was lovely and drinks reasonably priced. We had selected a superior room and it was great. It was in the main building (I believe there are rooms in an annexe next door) and was spacious with a comfortable four poster bed, armchairs, dressing table, several mirrors and plenty of plug sockets. The bathroom was clean with toiletries and large fluffy towels. Tea, coffee and biscuits were topped up daily. We are not dog owners but others may wish to know that this is a very dog friendly inn with food and drink available for four legged family members and dogs are allowed everywhere in the main building although there is a section in the main restaurant which is dog-free.

There was nothing we didn't like - our stay was great. But travellers should note this hotel/inn is very dog friendly and there were dogs everywhere so beware if this is not to your taste. Also, you will have to wheel your luggage from the town seafront car park as there is no designated parking.

The location is very central. We stayed in the building directly across the road. The room and bathroom were a good size and the bed was comfortable.

The lack of parking was an issue. We had an overnight bag and clothes on hangers that got wet the next morning as we had to walk a distance in the rain back to the car. We had breakfast as part of the deal. The price of £13.50 ( if we had to pay ) was extortionate for the Welsh breakfast - 1 sausage, 1 fatty bacon, 1 large mushroom, half a tomato, 1 hash brown and a few beans with free tea & coffee. It's a shame as the evening meals were really good.

Our room, Scarlet was lovely and felt very comfortable. It was quiet at night . We liked the idea of a free drink if we didn’t need fresh towels and the room refreshing. We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. We weren’t disturbed by any noise.

On the food side we went for our breakfast at 9am and orange juice, coffee, milk all needed replenishing. In the evening the salt pot was empty and the serviettes were damp because of the way they had been prepared tightly wrapped around the knife and fork. Also our reserved table had not been cleaned properly.

Excellent location, but the booking in system is a bit vague, you need to go to the busy restaurant to book into the hotel. There were plenty of different seating areas and pleasant courtyard garden.

The days we were there were very busy with large golfing parties. The staff were just being expected to do too much, although they were extremely patient and helpful. The food on our first evening was excellent but the second night it was obvious that the kitchen in particular was under pressure. , with long waits, forgotten orders and tasteless food.

Beautiful room, with underfloor heating and a roll top bath with double sinks. Comfortable bed, and to know that the place is a historic venue was the cherry on the top. Great location, with a wonderful cosy, pub feel and real fires and the most festive of decorations. To top it all the staff were friendly, welcoming and provided great hospitality. The breakfast was yummy and we will definitely stay here again, thanks.

There is no parking on site, but there is parking nearby.

Customer service was fabulous. Room was clean, comfortable, warm and welcoming. Dinner was delicious. Breakfast lovely too. We love this place, and will definitely be returning soon. Jacqui is a wonderful host!

The rooms in the 'old' part were noisy (plumbing I believe); but Jacqui enabled us to switch to a quieter room. Also, in the stormy conditions, the swinging 'Bull sign' was noisy (and right outside some of the bedroom windows); perhaps a locking mechanism could be used in windy conditions.

Everything here was lovely, we were exhausted arriving after a many-hours delayed international flight and diverted trains with a young child, and the hostess greeted us with a warm welcome, made sure we got a dinner order in before the restaurant closed, and showed us to our room. Good food, clean place, nice staff. Overall very good experience.

Only thing I missed was a little fridge in the room.
