The views were stunning. The location was fabulous. The apartment’s key areas - kitchen and bathroom- are clean and virtually new

If you are a light sleeper, this isn’t for you. The sounds of revving motorcycles and cars and pedestrian traffic continues on until midnight. If you have an issue walking, this is not for you. Google maps access to the apartment includes many many many stairs - not comfortable for weak knees or integrity of suitcase wheels. And the alternative non-stair access depends on a very unreliable bus route. Buses in Porto can be more than 45 min late and if full, they understandably do not stop.

The view is beautiful and it’s safely located next to most popular landmark ’ Ponte S Luís’ I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this apartment! The space was clean, modern, and thoughtfully decorated, making it feel like a true home away from home. The location was perfect—close to everything I needed, yet still peaceful and quiet. The host was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The amenities were top-notch, from the fully equipped kitchen to the cozy living area. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay. I can’t wait to return!

Not to say

Really fantastic location, directly under the iconic Dom Luiz bridge. Funicular practically next door. Most Porto attractions within walking distance (older people need to use the elevator (funicular) first). Amazing view from the living room. Quite roomy with a rather large kitchen.

Quite noisy as a lot of people pass the street (stairs) all the time (except late at night), the roar of the funicular and the rumble of the metro on the bridge. For us not a problem. You need to park your car in the parking garage somewhere else.

Great little apartment in a lovely location with fantastic views. Loved sitting at the window looking at the river and the bridge. Star Wars apartment appealed to our 15 year old and he loved the pink and green fluorescent lights like light sabers. Staff were helpful and there were nice touches like bottled water, tea and coffee left for us plus a useful map of the city.

Small things - the only mirror for the 2 bedroom apartment was in the bathroom. Would be ideal to have a mirror in the bedroom too.

Situated at the Bottom of Escadas dos Guindais (Stairs of a thousand heart attacks). But also next door to the Funicular rail if you don’t feel like giving your heart a workout😂 Position and accomodation is ideal for a single or couple travellers. Good clean and maintained everyday, I recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to be in the middle of it all! Overlooking the Douro Ten minutes over the bridge from N V Gaia with its river side restaurant’s and wine tastings. Fifteen minutes from the historic part (through the tunnel), and twenty five minutes walking to the shopping streets. Fifteen minute walk downhill from the train station Sao Bento. If you do want to give the heart a testing there’s a lovely restaurant three quarters of the way up the stairs overlooking the river, or outside the restaurant you can catch a door and charcoal pit cooking sardines with beers and wines as well. I’d give the stairs ago, just once (preferably going down). Enjoy the experience of living:

Apartment was perfectly located with a beautiful view out the window. We could check in early, which was great and very easy. We had the option of daily cleaning which was always nice.

I think we were unlucky as we had very noisey people staying above us. And with the perfect view comes alot of road noise and emptying of bins at 5am each day, not a complaint from us but if you are a light sleeper it could be a issue.

The proximity to Ribeira Quay and wonderful views over the river. There was a well equipped kitchen in the spacious living room which wasn't made clear on the website. A staff member was waiting for us on the steps as our taxi arrived. Excellent customer service and amazing value for money.

The double bed was against the wall which wasn't ideal. There were 67 steps to our apartment, a challenge for my arthritic knees but I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Awesome view, great facilities, comfortable, near funicular and the lovely bridge and tourist area well maintained, everything we wanted and 6C kill bill has AN EXCELLENT VIEW.

Stairs were a little difficult on a cane, but I knew that before I rented and it was worth the stairs.

Grat Location and place very close to most everything

Apartment was poorly furnished (only 1 AC in the living room) and missing some essentials for the normal living , plus very small Bathroom for a 2 Bedroom Apartment , and plus we had a big Issue with the Sink being Clogged and unfortunately the water wasnt going down normal , but extremely Slow !!!

Location was great - need to be happy for Tram noise as it is very loud. Property was lovely.

We were in the ‘Tarantino’ apartment. Shower flooded after 1 minute and was not fixed while we were there despite a few tries by the cleaning staff even though we said it needed a plumber to fix. Very disappointing.
