The location was fantastic, close to Hagia Sophia and the blue mosque as well as trams. The beds were very comfortable but the pillows could have been a bit firmer. The staff were all wonderful and although the breakfast wasn’t what we were used to, they were more than willing to make fresh omelettes for us daily.

The noise level within the hotel. As the staircase is all open and central, you can hear everyone climbing up and down. The doors were also heavy and were quite loud when they closed, especially when you are sharing the hotel with inconsiderate travellers who don’t seem to care about being quiet for other people. NOT the hotel or staff’s fault though!!

Great location, closed to everything. Awesome view on the rooftop. And the rooftop was open 24 hours. The room was clean. The breakfast was good.

We went to Istanbul with a friend for 4 nights and we stayed in Agora life hotel. Our stay was very pleasant! Hotel isn't too big so the hotel personnel had always time for us and gave good tips about things to do, places to see, restaurants etc. Hotelrooms were nice and the view from the top of the building was amazing. Hotel is located really near to many main attraction, and if you only have a few days in a city as big as Istanbul that is very time-saving. The street where Agora life hotel is located is quiet, so you'll have a good night sleep and still many great restaurants only couple of minutes away. Great hotel is always one of the key factors for a successful vacation and we are really happy that we chose this hotel. I highly recommend it!

I was pre-amped by the staff, Mr Isa two days before my stay. He queried on our stay details whether any additional services needed during they stay. Their hospitality was amazing. Eventhough we already checked out on the last day, they helped us by keeping our bags so we can explore the city and provided us drinks upon our return. I booked one queen bedroom, and triple bedroom and they upgraded us with a family room connecting both room. The location also is well situated in Istanbul, approx 10mins walk to Hagia Sophia Mosque and Grand Bazaar. Overall, it was a nice and amazing hotel with great hospitality by the staff. Definitely will stay again on our next visit.

This hotel is ideally situated to visit the main sites of Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern etc easily with a few minutes walk and also within a few minutes walk of restaurants and the trams. The hotel has a lovely roof terrace which we used for breakfast, with a view of Hagia Sophia and the Bosphorus, and over to the Galata Tower. The staff at the hotel were wonderful, always helpful and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. They even upgraded my room to one with a view of Hagia Sophia with a nice bottle of wine and snacks, as I was in Istanbul for my 60th Birthday. Omar was amazing .. worth an extra mention for sure. All in all a great little find!

Our stay at Agora Life Hotel was excellent. It is a small, family-friendly boutique hotel, run by professional and efficient staff, sited in the heart of Istanbul's Old City, a stone's throw from centuries of heritage and culture. Rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and there were fresh towels and easy access to re-supplies for toiletries, water, and snacks. There were large windows which allowed for ventilation and cooling, a mini-fridge to store drinks and food, and a safe for our valuables. The rooftop terrace had unmatched views of both the Ayasofya Grand Mosque and the Golden Horn. The hotel was in a great location, barely 5 minutes away from either Gulhane or Sultanahmet tram stations, a very short walk to a wide range of historic landmarks (Ayasofya, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Hippodrome, Grand Bazaar, Basilica and Serefiye Cisterns), and within minutes of all sorts of food and cafes. Hotel staff were very friendly, gave us good advice and recommendations, and went the extra mile to help us arrange various things e.g. pre-departure PCR tests, taxi services. I also happened to plan my surprise engagement proposal and the hotel staff (especially Mr Isa Altindag) were very helpful in facilitating arrangements and walking through the plans with me. Thank you for the wonderful stay and we look forward to staying here when we next visit Istanbul!

We were upgraded upon arrival and the room was gorgeous and clean. Our view was of the Bosphorous river but the terrace afforded gorgeous views of the Aya Sophia as well. It's in a very safe and central location, within walking distance of Sultanahmet Square and all of it's sights. There's plenty of food and transport around, and the Grand Bazaar is about a 15 minutes walk away. The staff was warm, attentive, and respectful. I can't recommend this place enough and cannot wait to come back.

Excellent and incredibly helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Very helpful in locating the different places to visit and getting the ferry etc. our pre booked return taxi to the airport was very late and the staff were brilliant at trying to locate the driver and called him numerous times etc. The staff are the shining part of this hotel. The hotel was clean - towels changed daily and room cleaned daily and adequate breakfast - my husband enjoyed the freshly made omelettes to order.

First of all the staff are all so friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hotel is clean and the cleaners do an amazing job. I didn’t eat in the restaurant but the food always smelt incredible coming up from the restaurant. Location is perfect. Within a 5 minute walk of a major sightseeing hub but just off a main road so you don’t get the traffic and street noise. Great bathroom and very comfy bed.

Decor is a bit tired and could do with updating. Lack of attention to detail with fixtures. There isn’t a socket/switch that is straight and lots of fixtures are loose. Definitely needs a refurb.

We had the Hagia Sophia suite which was nice and spacious and as the name suggests, the view from the room of Hagia Sophia Mosque was amazing The hotel was nice and clean and also central to the mosques, museum and eating places There was no bar within the hotel and since it only had about 11 rooms it was nice and quiet, the staff were friendly and pleasant

The breakfast was pretty standard and more or less the same everyday We didn’t see it mentioned anywhere that they made fresh omelette and only found out a few days later when we saw one of the other guests order it
