Bed was much more comfortable than average for Mexico. Room was lovely. Very central location. Central location during Cervantino means that it was loud -- but that's what I expected. Also, the hotel provided earplugs on the nightstands. One upside to a central location is that while it is loud at night, the roosters are several miles away in the morning.

The staff was very friendly and helpful to the point where they helped me find a make-up artist and get me an appointment within 1 hour of our arrival. We stayed over Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) and LOCATION was key for us to enjoy this holiday to the fullest! The parade and street Art display happened right outside our balcony! We were just a few steps away from Teatro Juárez, rounded by restaurants and everything to enjoy downtown Guanajuato day and night! We did hear some noise at night from a bar/club nearby but nothing that the earplugs provided by the hotel could solve. Room was very clean and everything looked new or newly renovated, the free breakfast was really good (fruit, juice, coffee or tea, chilaquiles and eggs) and again, staff was wonderful. The rooftop view was beautiful! although we didn't have time to get our complimentary drinks up there we did go up there to enjoy the view and take pictures. I will be back and already recommended this hotel to my friends who loved the videos I took from my balcony and asked me for the name of my hotel. They also covered the cost of the parking lot which can get pretty pricey and hard to find in Guanajuato. Overall a great great experience for me and I look forward to staying there on my next trip to Guanajuato.

I wish the rooftop bar/lounge had longer hours.

Brand new hotel, everything is beautiful. Location ks excellent, a few steps from the main square. Staff was very friendly. The breakfast is great, and waiters in the restaurant super friendly.

From the rooms you can hear noise from the hallway, but since it is a small hotel only a few guest transit in the area, so this is not a major issue. Still, the staff mentioned soon they will turn rooms sound proof.

The locations is amazing and the room was really spacious.

Upon entering the room there was a very strong and nauseating smell of an artificial air cleaner. You can hear the parties on the street and bars near by 'til the late hours so bring ear plugs

The staff was so nice so professional. They were very consistent, I felt so safe with me and my daughter. I would definitely go back or refer to family/friends. The cleaning lady omg she is the best. Security was attended. Loved it.

Room without windows. What you can see on a picture is skylight for staircase, the room is in the middle of the stairs on staircase, the rooms are extremly acoustic, so I could hear everything both from the other rooms and from staircase. I woke up because someone was just walking on a staircase. In rooms there are no airco and Internet - but it was written. All in all - nice interior but not worth it’s price

Great location, meters away from main landmarks as Teatro Juarez and downtown. Easy accesible from the street, parking and breakfast are included which is a great value add. Rooftop serves nice cocktails and has an amazing view of the city.

Excellent service from staff, that were always willing to go above and beyond to help us. Rooms were nice and tidy, spacious and the layout was functional. Most importantly, we felt safe and at home at La Notaria. We’d stay here again and recommend it to our friends.

Everything in this place is fantastic. Staff is great and the roof top is crazy cool! Just notice that the front rooms are a noisy as there is a loud bar right across the street. No noise and super comfortable the back rooms. I have a very light sleep and slept like a baby the 3 nights we stayed there.
