I came for a concert in June, and booked again for another concert for September. The hotel room in June was alot bigger, sofa and space to get ready. However I paid more in June, and breakfast wasn't included. Yesterday's hotel room was smaller, but usable, clean, no issues. Breakfast was included this time, and it was lovely. Really enjoyed our stay. Staff friendly. We arrived at 12pm and asked for early check in and got it no problem. June hotel room was 3rd floor, September hotel room 5th floor. Photos are of the hotel room in June and then September. Both Queen rooms.
Not enough pillows in the room. And not enough sugar and teas provided. The mirror was not near the table to be able to see yourself to get ready this time. And no plug sockets near the mirror either when trying to straighten my hair.

Beds are so comfortable! Rooms are well equipped with iron/ironing board and space for hanging clothes which is nice! The staff are always happy to come in and change bedding/clean the room which is also really nice to come back to after being out all day
Restaurant wasn’t great and quite pricey for very basic food. The rooms were also a lot smaller than expected, the rooms I’ve stayed in in ibis budget just down the road was a lot bigger just not as brightly decorated which I wouldn’t say warrants the higher price or “style” aspect of the hotel

Great location, close to the train stations with Piccadilly gardens right on your doorstep and Canal street and China town a couple of minutes walk away. Staff are really helpful and friendly, and the rooms are a good size. The WiFi is fast, and the shower has amazing water pressure. The bed has sockets on both sides with USB ports built in. Everything was spotlessly clean. The room comes with extra pillows, and the mattress is pretty comfy.
The bathroom floods everytime you take a shower, as the glass divider doesn't go back far enough and the shower tray is not very deep. They give you extra towels to put down on the floor near the shower, but these get soaked and don't do much to help with the floor being slippery due to the flooding. The toilet paper is also the cheap really thin and narrow single ply stuff. I feel like for the price they want a night they could spring the extra 10p a roll for double ply toilet paper. The pillows are a bit hard, and kind of tall which can be a little awkward. None of these issues are that serious though and this is still a good place to stay.

I stayed at the Ibis as I was going to a concert at Co op Arena so the location was on the right side of the city for getting there and back on foot. The room was comfortable with controls for the heating and the lighting options and coffee tea were good
Only snag which I reported the next day and could have reported earlier if I had spent more time in the room, was there was no hand wash in the bathroom basin - just in the shower. I think the room may have been recently refurbished and the hand wash unit had not been installed yet.

4 nights stay following a round trip of the Netherlands. Hotel - Easy to find on the corner of Portland, Short walk from the train, bus and tram stations. Short walk to shops, cafes, restaurants and the Xmas markets. Very clean, safe and secure. Staff - All friendly, polite and helpful with various encounters I had, check-in/Check-out was simple. **Special thanks to Ash - the politest housekeeper I have ever encountered** Room - Double room with everything you need inside (iron & Ironing board, Hair dryer ect). Both room and bathroom clean with housekeeping attending daily if wanted to dress the room change towels and stock plenishables. Restaurant - Jamboree attached restaurant where breakfast is served daily for the guests, then forms a lumch and dinner restaurant in the evening for everyone including a nice stocked bar.

The hotel was really good close to transport links and was very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean and inviting. Yes, there were a few scuff marks but who cares it didn't take away the cleanliness of the room. It had all the amenities that you expect from a hotel. The shower was lovely and hot and the bathroom was very clean. We ate breakfast in the hotel the 2 days we were there. It's a buffet breakfast with quite a lot to choose from. Cooked breakfast and continental. The hotel was very trendy with weather theming throughout. I would definitely stay here again. The staff were so nice from booking in until leaving and they even kept our case after checking out as we still had time to explore.
The only thing I wasn't keen on was the long window and sheer height looking down. We were on the 6th floor and my husband didn't like heights but that was easily solved we just kept the curtains shut.

Staff very friendly, room was ready so was able to get checked in earlier at no extra cost. Room was clean but a little on the small side as a bit of a tight squeeze between the wall and bottom of bed, however that's not something that can be changed. Lovely shower with plenty of hot water, had an issue with sink draining really slow, we did mention it at reception but no one came to look at it, but we only had a 2 night stay (We managed as were out alm day shopping and christmas markets). Room lovely and warm and bed comfortable, although I prefer soft feather pillows, so having a hard pillow affected my sleep.. I guess it's personal preference as not many hotels give you a pillow option. Breakfast plentiful, good choice and well cooked. Overall a lovely stay and have already booked for next year.
Pillows would love there to be a choice

Check in was 3pm so as we arrived in Manchester late morning for an afternoon show we called in to leave our bag. We were amazed and impressed that the girl on Reception checked whether a room was ready and allowed us to check in. That made things so much easier for us and meant we could rest with a cuppa before heading out into Manchester. The girl on reception also asked whether we would be ok with a firm bed as the bed had recently been replaced. We confirmed that was fine but how nice to take the trouble to ask us. The room was clean and comfortable including the bed. We like the bar area too as it comfortable to relax with a nightcap after a busy evening. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with staff on hand continually refreshing the buffet. Great location a short walk from train station and across from bus station. Friendly staff make you welcome. This is now our go to hotel for Manchester after staying here 3 or 4 times. Good value too.
Nothing. Everything was great

The location of this hotel was perfect! Close to everything we needed. The room was a usual hotel size with a nice clean bathroom, nothing special but nothing to complain about. There was a lovely restaurant/bar in the hotel that had a bottomless breakfast for £13 but we woke up too late for that. I'm sure that's a great value though. I was impressed by having iron and ironing board in the room with a nice sized closet too. Kettle, mugs and tea and coffee of course included too.
The restaurant in the hotel closes at 10pm everyday, which I found a bit too early. In the room, we could hear the air-conditioning units buzzing, quite faint for us but if you were few floors lower, I'm sure that would get annoying.
