The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. They shared many excellent recommendations and were generally personable and enjoyable to talk to. As I was traveling alone, and was not expecting to spend the weekend in Manchester, it was really helpful to be able to turn to the staff for recommendations for food, things to do, or just information about the city. They were also just pleasant whenever I struck up a chat. Really great people, everyone. The breakfast was also quite good, and the location was excellent for going out and exploring the city.

The only complaint I can make, and this had basically no effect on my time at all, was that the area between the end of the bed and the TV in front was a little cramped. Like I said, this did not matter at all.

I enjoyed the cleanliness and taste in the decor of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very tasty and there was plenty of choice. The room was quite and there was a nice view of the city. Everything matched my expectations.

The only thing that we didn't like was the space in the room which didn't allow me to get into my side of the bed. The TV was coming out too much so I had to squeeze past it. I am quite lean, so I think that some people might not be able to pass which such a tiny space.

Excellent cooked breakfast; you could only choose one hot dish from the menu but it was really properly cooked. E.g. full English had thoroughly grilled tomato halves - not just waved at the heat - and bacon which had both crispy fat and succulent meat. Poached eggs slightly under-done but otherwise great. Good cold selection also.

Dining room staff were over-stretched at breakfast during peak time and this resulted in slow and somewhat haphazard service. The manager was great, a real pro and brill at his job. Under staffing not his fault: down to paying for enough waiters for the covers!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The decor is very modern and clean creating a tranquil atmosphere in the hotel. The bar and restaurant were comfortable with good food options available.

The space around the bed was difficult to navigate. There was no space to walk around the bed at all, making it difficult to share a room, only option is climbing over a second person in the bed to get out of the bed, not great at night or if you have and joint issues. The temperature in the room was very warm and no option to turn the thermostat temperature down under 18 degrees so we had to keep the window open t night allowing the street noise with the warehouse opposite playing disco music until late at night. Also the cups in the room were not cleaned or replaced during the stay and coffee pods not topped up- minor issue but I prefer to have a coffee first thing in the room and could not on the second day.

The decor is stunning in the rooms, reception and breakfast area. Little extras in the room made it seem very luxury. We particularly liked the coffee machine in the room and the toiletries. The staff were extremely friendly and polite, especially Morris. It was super close to all amenities and parking was just outside the hotel. We would definitely stay again, we really enjoyed it. I had arranged a birthday surprise in the room however this had not been put together when we arrived. The staff quickly resolved this and added a bottle of Tattinger and snacks in the room to make up for the mistake. This was lovely!

Breakfast was average however we did like the continental breakfast cart as there was a lot of quality choice and the coffee.

The location is excellent , really close to Piccadilly station, I drove and there is a large car park behind hotel on Dale Street (not part of hotel) £18 for 24 hours. The hotel is quite new , the hotel is modern and tasteful in decor and comfort

There was a mishap when checking in and when I arrived at my room there was a cleaner there who said this can’t be your room and sent me back to reception , this was quickly resolved by the reception staff who where professional and sorted me out a new room. The lifts are also a bit annoying the button only calls one lift rather than both summoning either of them

Great staff, proactive, nothing too much trouble, clearly all worked well together. Smooth check-in and check-out with everything as expected. Great hotel, well located (especially convenient for Manchester Piccadilly station) and which makes striking and effective use of its canal-side views from its restaurant / occasional seating areas. Nice room with very comfortable bed and good shower and toiletries. Quiet but effective air-conditioning, well sound-proofed walls and windows and generally quiet location all made for a superb night's sleep. Very good breakfast, promptly and attentively served. Highly recommended, I would definitely stay again.

Nothing whatsoever.

The reception staff were friendly and happy, they looked like they actually enjoyed working here, very welcoming. Lovely welcome drink too. The hallways to the room were lovely, love the design. The room was gorgeous! Granted it’s a small space but for a short stay it was perfect. The bathroom is beautiful. Love the green tiles and black details! Great amenities like the soap, shower gel, shampoo etc

The only thing that would be better for me is maybe more normal tea bags. But it’s hardly a crime, and barely worth mentioning 😀

Loved the staff! Cute singing girl at breakfast with black hair was so adorable! 10k Christmas bonus for her. Also beauty who commented on my hair the next day at breakfast! Tell her don’t bleach it stay strong! 😤🥰 Also receptionist with red hair and head band has a lethal face card and was so welcoming and nice x

Cozy room was a tiny bit anxiety inducing with the bed not being accessible from both sides. Maybe fully mention what makes it ‘cosy’ on website :) pictures I was given of my room were misleading

Location is 4 minutes from Manchester Piccadilly Station. The reception area is lovely with plenty of seating. We asked about a coffee, as we were waiting for friends to join us & were told to help ourselves. The rooms are beautifully done out, with very comfortable beds a huge TV, coffee machine & kettle. The small sealed bottle of milk in the mini fridge is a very nice touch, much better than the usual UHT rubbish. The bathroom & shower were excellent as well. We would not hesitate to stay again.
