Basic, but everything we needed for 1 night. It was clean and tidy. Good value for money.
Possibly a better system at night. The security guards were a little abrupt. Also, I stayed in a room with my 21 year old son in a 3 person room. They assumed we were sharing the double bed and didn't make up the single bed. We had to do it ourselves.

I liked it's close proximity to the town centre. The staff are friendly and helpful. I have stayed here many times before and it's the staff that really made me.
The TV remote didn’t work (446) The toilet seat had marks The bedding had long hair on it The key card didn’t work and I had to go to reception twice. There was no kettle in the room

Lovely to be met by cheerful & welcoming reception staff. A different team was on the next day & they too were very cheerful & pleasant. Breakfast buffet was great. A good variety of food, well presented & good amounts. Only thing missing for me was plant based milk, but to be fair I didn't ask if there was any available. The kitchen staff did a good job of clearing dirty plates & keeping the area clean.
Annoying that you don't have any EV chargers. I had to drive out of your car park & hunt to find somewhere to charge. I'm so used to Travelodges having ev chargers it was a surprise. Get with the times Ibis!!

I have stayed at this property before, so knew what to expect. The car park is secure, and reasonably priced, and the hotel is located within easy walking distance of the centre of Birmingham.
The hotel is ideal for a short stay, but the main drawback is the subway you have to use to get under the dual carriageway. It is very smelly, and there are some dodgy looking characters, but that is nothing to do with the hotel. The room is small, but clean and well presented, but I probably wouldn't use this for a longer stay.

The hotel is located about 10 minutes away on foot from the New Street train station. Moreover, the place is near all the main attractions of the city. The staff was very kind: the checkin and checkout were fast and efficient. The room was clean and there were all the necessities: towels, soap, plastic cups and a additional covers. The hotel is perfect for a short stay and the value for money is great for what you get.
The overall cleaniness on the hallways and on the reception was not great. The moquette on the corridors smelled bad and it was visibly dirty. The complementary continental breakfast was not tasty

The room was as advertised, clean, basic, priced accordingly. Facilities were good, parking is easy, and the place is perfectly located to attend a gig at O2 Academy - a 2 minute walk at most. Best thing about this place is the staff - welcoming, helpful and friendly, and I must say a really massive thank you to Sam, what a brilliant guy. I came down in the morning to find a puncture had left my tyre totally flat. He came out and helped me sort the situation, and wouldn't accept anything in return. He really did save the day for my daughter and I, and we are so grateful. Thanks again Samuel, what a legend !
As I say, this is a basic room, cheap and cheerful, which you would expect from the price. The only thing I might grumble about on that basis is that the toilet room/cubicle is very small. I'm far from skinny myself, but I can see this would pose a problem for larger -built/ taller people.

Location is great, staff is very helpful and friendly, rooms are really clean and looked after. I really enjoyed being there for some reason :D I really appreciated cleanliness and hygiene of this hotel.
Lift going all over the place up and down through amount of x floor levels before it gets to where you wanted, so I often used stairs instead. Room was quite small, no cupboard or shelves - just few hangers, one small table and 1 stool. One thing that could be changed is this glass shower door as it's just awkward to take a shower while somebody else is in the room, or if housekeeping team would just get in I would not like it. Had to hang a towel over these doors while I was taking a shower to feel bit more comfortable.

Never stayed in a budget hotel before and I am not sure we will repeat it. The hotel itself was cute, but you could tell it was 'budget'. For a family of 3 the room was a bit small I believe, the parking was charged separately and the breakfast options were very basic. For the same money we could have selected another hotel with higher standards, but we thought we'd try this one. Not sorry necessarily, but honest opinion and probably not happening again.
The room size and decor, the breakfast options and the bed was not as comfortable as you'd expect from a hotel bed

although it was compact , the bunk bed was over the double bed , oh my did we have a comfortable nights sleep!! my mate, who usually is an early riser to the point she gets up around 6.30 even on a weekend woke up at 9. she wanted to smuggle the mattress out of the room as it was the best night's sleep she'd had. ideally located for gigs at the 02 academy. too. delicious pizza served 24 hours as well . very clean too.. for £49 it was cheap but definitely cheerful
the toilet/shower/sink . should have been a single bathroom. especially if you needed a shower but also privacy and you were with friends. we were there for a night so didn't need a shower as we got one when we got home.

Stayed here for one night after a gig at the o2 academy. 10/10 for location, only a 3 minute walk from the hotel to the academy and about a 10/15 minute walk from the station. Staff were very friendly and check in was very quick. Room was clean and tidy although could do with a bit of a refurb but can’t complain for the price we paid. Only down side I will say is the toilet is in a tiny closet separate from the shower and sink other than that we definitely got an absolute bargain. The man at reception even found us additional pillows at 1am. Did not eat there but they did advertise that pizza was available to order from the hotel kitchen 24/7. Would definitely stay here again!!
Very small toilet and bed not the comfiest but overall, nothing majorly bad to say at all
