Positioned ideally for where I needed to go the next day. Check in and out was very quick and easy, and the staff were friendly and greeted me with a smile. The decor was pleasant, the view from the room was decent too. the coffee facilities, and places to sit when not in bed, were a nice touch.
There wasn't a way to turn every light off with the key card still inserted - the bed lights were controlled by the card which made it very confusing. The toilet sometimes would continually flush. Should provide oat or soya milk cartons with the tea and coffee for non dairy inclusion. Not everyone can have dairy but still enjoy milk in tea/coffee.

The bar and social areas were very nice. Liked the desk and chair in the room. Everything was just OK. It was quiet. Liked that usefulness of the petrol station and eatery around the corner. Good location.
Poor vegetarian options at breakfast. But that seems to be the case for most European owned chains. The lighting was a bit too atmospheric and the WiFi not great for video calls, no iron in room (but you can request it) so I wouldn’t rate it highly for a business traveler if you need to get anything done. The room is smaller than the average premier inn room but I wouldn’t consider it to be any better apart from the social area/bar.

The room was basic but had everything I could need for a one night stay. It was very clean and while it didn't feel brand new, it was actually very comfortable and I would've happily stayed another night. The receptionist allowed me to check in as soon as I arrived, which was just before official check in time (thank you!) and helped find me a nice quiet room. Short walk to the train station and loads of restaurants around (though you have to cross a busy road to get there).
Breakfast seems overpriced (like £18 if you book on the day). The location is hardly beautiful, and the hotel is right on a busy road, but you can see that on the map before booking.

The staff were lovely and friendly. The best were very comfortable. Excellent safe parking. Semi central location. The shower was awesome.
The only downside was a very loud guest banging on doors and screaming, "EMILY! EMILY OPEN THE DOOR! I'LL GIVE YOU THREE SECONDS OUT OF RESPECT THEN I'LL START SCREAMING" She did this from about 4am for about 90 minutes. We were a little too scared to head out and ask her to stop as she sounded really angey. Emily didn't open her door (good on you Emily). This is no reflection on the hotel itself, at all. Without this, I would have scored a 9. Other than that, it was great!

Customer service from the first telephone call to make special requests to checkin out was excellent during our stay , the interconnected room was very clean, comfortable and well stock refreshments , the easy chairs in the rooms were modern and great for window people watching. We all had a great night's sleep, so beds were just right for us . Breakfast was fully stocked with a wide variety of options best we've experienced. Attended a concert at 02. This was a literally around the corner perfect location.
No Guinness, over priced bottled Ale , food in early evening was dry , club sandwich was hard to digest.

This is a great hotel based in Birmingham city centre. It's a short walk to the Bullring and Grand Central station. We were staying in Room 712. Nice and high so incredibly quiet. We booked this hotel as we were going to a concert at the O2 just around the corner so it was an Ideal base for there. Quick little walk around the corner. The bar was well equipped and a great shove ha'penny or shuffle table as well as a pool table in the upstairs dining and seating area. They seemed to be free too. Breakfast was nicely presented and the staff were really polite. The shower worked really well and the shower room/toilet was in its own contained room with a tiled floor. This was a straight walk in shower. Bed was comfy and once we had plugged in the HDMI cable where it should go in the telly it worked well. There is a nice terrace on the first floor for sitting outside and leaving city life behind.
Needs a bit of a clean up as the carpets were stained and there was paint coming off the door frame. Parking is limited to 17, I think, spaces so not enough for everyone. Probably not enough for a floor. However, there are some great safe places to park nearby and undercover and well lit. Breakfast was £18 extra so you will have to judge how much value you put on having a breakfast. Sausages were cooked well, bacon wasn't greasy and scrambled egg not too bad.

The location was perfect, as we were visiting the o2 academy that night. Checked in to this hotel under it's previous name in the past, evidently it's been taken over by another hotel chain, nothing however seems to have changed for the worse.. The decor and rooms are the same and felt very comfortable
Although the shower worked, on the Sunday morning we appeared to not have any water in thy bathroom so we felt a little embarrassed after our morning 'routine'. Only other slight niggle was the music in the reception /bar area was at a level that made it hard to hear the bar staff, not so much an issue in the evening but during the following morning when I checked out, I genuinely couldn't understand the lady behind the desk

Great hotel located very central for birmingham city centre and the gay village, couldn't ask for a better location. Rooms were surprisingly larger than I thought and the bathroom had a great rain shower. No problem getting a parking spot at the hotel which was nice as it is secure parking and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. Asked for iron for the room upon check in and that arrived minutes after we got to the room. Some reviews have mentioned the area around the hotel but this is no different than any other city, especially one that has gone through vast redevelopment in the area and we had no issues whatsoever. Shop and a garage next door so perfect if you want to pick up a few things.
Drink prices in the bar were pretty high but thats all I can fault on the hotel

Staff were very friendly (extremely accommodating and polite to difficult guests complaining for the sake of complaining - they need an award!). Facilities are well thought out for a business traveller with everything you need. I didn't realise food was served which would've been a plus since the area is a little intimidating if you are a single female going for a wander at night. Once inside the hotel you feel completely safe.
The area isn't the best but close proximity to the station. The taxi driver couldn't locate the hotel due to a recent name change which caused a bit of confusion on arrival. This isn't the hotels thought, just something to be aware off if you're visiting as it took two taxi drivers to find.

location was great, bed was so comfortable, had a chair and large table which is great for any studies or meeting you may need to take care of whilst staying. The TV was bigger than I thought, lighting was also great too. definitely be staying there again.
The flooring in the shower wasn't completely clean, it was slightly greasy to step on whilst showering. There was no iron in my room unfortunately, but my clothes were already ironed to I didn't mind.
