I cannot rate this b&b highly enough Helen and Simon were amazing hosts and they welcomed us into the lawns tea room like we were family. We had an apartment Room which was amazing I have never stayed in a b&b with so much space it had a lounge, bedroom and a kitchenette. the place was spotless and the bed was so comfortable. Our friends rooms were also a great size and spotless. Breakfast was amazing freshly cooked to order piping hot and plenty of choice I would stay here again and would highly recommend it to everyone.

Location is very close to my brother's house so ideal for us. Also, close to RSPB reserves and other Somerset attractions. Nice quiet location just off the main road and a really nice little place - the garden was lovely this time of year (late April), The host, Simon, was very friendly. We arrived when he was out but he answered his mobile promptly and gave us clear access instructions. The room was clean and spacious for our needs. Just stayed for two nights. Breakfast was excellent - full English but plenty of options as well.

Access and parking were fine for us as there was only one other couple staying. I can imagine it might be tricky if there was a full house.

The location was quiet - that's what we prefer. The staff were really helpful and friendly, alowing us to book in at our convenience and then change the time when we ran a little late. The rooms were spotless and cosy, The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, no fat but oodles of flavour, with great sausages.

Nope. Nothing to write here

Breakfast was well cooked and served as requested, Simon is a welcoming and engaging host. He was happy to accommodate special dietary requirements. It was convenient to be able to access the property with our own key. Our room was clean and comfortable.

Maybe it would be better to serve more upmarket bread rather than standard sliced. Towels could do with renewing - they were a bit hard and thin.

The location to The Clarkes Shopping Village is great. Our room was a very good twin with a large bathroom and a little kitchen area. The whole property was lovely and warm. There was ample car parking space. The breakfast was cooked fresh and made with tasty ingredients.

Easy to park at the property which was very convenient for RSPB Ham Wall reserve. Clean, quiet room with comfortable bed and clean en suite wet room. Working bedside lamps and plenty of storage space. Good breakfast including nicely cooked full English. Nice view of Ashcott houses and trees from our room. An easy walk to the nearby Ashcott pub, where we were lucky to get an evening meal as they were nearly fully booked.

Although there was a low fold-out enclosure to hold back the water from the shower in the en suite wet room, the room and particularly the floor got wet and took a long time to dry. I found the bed and bedding rather too warm, but it was quite a warm night.

The room was large and beds very comfortable, breakfast was delicious and staff are super friendly

Parking is a little tight, the rooms aren’t very well soundproofed so you can hear all the other guests when they get up or use the toilets.

T The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious; nothing was too much trouble for the proprietor.

We had no complaints or dislikes about anything. The proprietor (Simon) was friendly and accommodating, and made sure that we had everything we needed, and was always available if we needed to contact him.

Great room and breakfast. Parking for us was ok a it wasn't busy but entrance and exit roads narrow. Great area for nature reserves.

Would have liked some local information the couple of leaflets we found tucked in a draw were out of date.. sadly local hostelries were shut after Sunday lunch till Wed/Thurs and many in area closed completely.
