The room was spectacularly good. Very large, very comfortable, very quiet, very well equipped kitchenette with fridge, dishwasher, cooker & toaster. The bathroom was also really great and it was nice to have a balcony with a decent view. The staff were all very polite and helpful.

The only downside of this hotel is the breakfast buffet. The hot buffet only had a few 'cheap' options such as hash browns and baked beans. The sausages were not the best, nor was the bacon. The egg choice was firm scrambled or firm omelette. There were no fried eggs, or mushrooms, or tomatoes, or black pudding etc that are essential features of a 'good' full English IMHO. Also the fancy looking fruit juice machine dispensed juice-flavoured water (concentrate with added water) rather than fresh juice. If this breakfast was served at a Travel Lodge I was say that it was fine, but given how spectacularly good the rest of the hotel was, it really did feel like a major let down.

Best service from Maggie at reception and all the staff who go the extra mile to make customers happy. The rooms are spacious, clean and had everything I needed. Organic teas and sustainable toiletries were a nice touch. Highly recommend!

On arrival we were upgraded to both a complimentary early check in and room upgrade! Diviya went above and beyond to make sure we were well informed about the hotel and checked us in efficiently. Our room was lovely and spacious (queen studio) we had everything we needed such as teas, coffee, shower washes etc. The bed was unbelievably comfy and we had the best night sleep ever! The hotel has a 24/7 coffee machine which was fab & at breakfast there was a good variety of food, it remained well stocked and was hot! Would 100% stay here again.

The only downside to our room was that the views from the window was just construction site (no fault of the hotel itself) other than that it is a lovely value for money hotel!!

Really handy location, 10 minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly train station. Slightly out of the centre but within walking distance. The rooms were comfy and had a separate seating area with kitchen appliances. The breakfast was good, but extremely busy. Provided vegan sausages on request. Staff were extremely kind and excellent customer service. The hotel will look after your bags on the checkout day until you are ready to return home.

Marks on walls and some mould in shower, nothing too bad though. Looks like soon in need of a quick refurb. Lots of construction work around, but the rooms were quiet.

The spaciousness and cleanliness of the rooms + excellent breakfast and the staff were exceptionally helpful with our every need.

There was a little bit of door slamming late night people around us but it wasn't unbearable and we felt entirely safe and secure.

Nice variety in breakfast selection, nice interior and our room was large enough with kitchenette included. The location of hotel was quite OK, near supermarket and restaurants, although a bit lonely in the dark hours so I was happy I didn't have to go alone from the train station to the hotel. :) All in all good experience, thank you!

Lights in the bathroom was broken so it was quite dark and also floors were really cold. It would be OK if some slippers would be available in the room, but that wasn't the case. Also would suggest to ensure electrical converter in the room or at least in the reception for European travellers as we couldn't charge our electronic devices without it.

I would never have guessed that I would be so pleased with the hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are new, also spotlessly clean, bright and quite large. The hotel staff are incredibly attentive and helpful. Especially Divya and Zubia at the reception, Ali and Sandy in the breakfast room are very positive and very helpful. Again, Nihiy and Uesh were also helpful in every way. The breakfast is extremely sufficient and nice, and the possibility of taking it to the room on a tray is great.

Just a small suggestion; I would be much happier if there were slippers in the rooms.

A modern hotel approximately 15 minutes walk from Piccadilly. We were staying as part of my partner's 60th birthday celebrations and the staff had decorated our one bedroom suite to mark the occasion. A very well equipped room including a kitchenette with two ring hotplate, full fridge and dishwasher. Two wall mounted TVs, one in the lounge area and one in the bedroom. A truly fantastic room. Breakfast was included in our room rate and this was buffet style with plenty of hot and cold choices. A great selection of food choices. The best bit about this hotel is the staff, every member of staff we met was extremely helpful and friendly. They couldn't do enough for the comfort of their guests and each and every one of them is a credit to the hotel.

The location of the hotel is in the Northern Quarter of Manchester which us undergoing a lot of regeneration, consequently there is a lot of building work (and noise) in the immediate vicinity. Obviously this is very much outwith the hotel's control but it does make a lie-in somewhat difficult. Not enough to stop us from staying at the hotel again I hasten to add.

What a lovely surprise we had when we arrived at this hotel. Our room; a king suite for 3 adults, surpassed our expectations. It was huge. Had a separate bedroom, huge lounge/diner with a kitchenette. The sofa bed in the lounge was ideal and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was really good, with so much variety. Very busy breakfast area, but the staff worked so hard to clear tables quickly and they kept the foods replenished. All of the hotel staff were hard working and friendly. We will certainly return.

Slightly out of the main areas; but there were some bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walk of the hotel.

Easy to find from Piccadilly train station, we paid for an earlier check in, we were greeted by Divya at reception, who was lovely and efficient Our room was on the 9th floor, it was lovely and clean, kitchen facilities, tea and coffee available A great nights sleep, I think that was probably due to the most comfiest of pillows, wow, I have since priced them up and at £118 each, maybe that’s why we slept so well The breakfast was plentiful, cooked breakfast, pastries, fruit, yoghurts, lots of choice and very nice All in all, we had a great stay, we’ll definitely be back
