We had a lovely time! The receptionists Jazeel and Azik were so friendly and helpful! They made our stay here so much better!
The bed sheets had a couple stains but overall the room was fine

The staff was very nice and welcoming, always putting up a smile and asking how we’re doing. You can ask for a taxi from/to the airport, but we chose not to get it although I think we would’ve saved a lot of money given that a ride was almost 30£. The room is okay, we booked one with windows so it made it look even more appealing I would say. The bathroom is clean and has almost everything you need. The location is a big bonus, you’re close to stores, restaurants and also lots of bus and tram stations. When you check out, you can ask the staff to keep your luggage a bit longer if you want to wander around the city some more and it’s also for free. All in all, this was a nice and safe stay for two girls travelling.
There is barely any heat, even though they provide some blankets, they won’t do much. There is no free wifi and the mobile data was sometimes very slow only in the premises of the hotel for some reason. They don’t have slippers so prepare for walking around the room with your shoes on if you’re the kind of person that gets cold easily :) Outside it was quite loud and at times we could hear a whole conversation going on. Other than that everything was great!

Peace and quite. You get left to yourself. No one anoys you. Place is old looking in decore but it absoulty fine for a few nights, room clean, bed clean , its basic like the iron is on a the 6th floor in a room for everyone to use but to me thats fine , ive been butlins , pontins and that and this place is hands down still better its just basic , yer no gettin room serves fs its no the hitlon for £50 a nyt. But it bang in the town center. a fall out a bed to a mcdonalds or a five guys and the bar in the hotels decent ,better than weatherspoons round the coner anyway, nae crackheads sleep out side for one thing. What way aww the crack heads btw there everywere in manchester.
Nothing absoulty nothing to complain about. The room next door got flooded with bad weather and i still got moved to a better room and it was not effecting me, so there is no compliant here.

I love the location as I was going to a gig on Tib street and it means I can walk there and back from the venue. Room was fine and everything worked and was clean. I've staid before so it was all fine.
I didn't like the fact that they tried to charge me a £50 deposit for my guide dog and as she is a service animal and not a pet this shouldn't have happened. They also put me in a room without a working phone, they did try to fix this and they did wantme to move rooms but by the time this happened I'd already got comfortable. So I was a little disappointed. I think their staff need to read up on their policy about allowing service animals into the hotel.

Everything was generally good with the accommodation, the location and the friendliness of staff. The value-for-money was spot-on! Bar area was good and drinks very reasonably priced. And literally a stone's throw away from Picadilly gardens and Market street!
The only two down-sides were that my room had no window (but I knew that when I booked so it didn't come as a surprise) - however if I came back I'll opt for a room with a window. And the Wifi which was charged at 7.20£ in the rooms PER DEVICE. So I didn't use the WiFi and went to the bar or lobby area whenever I needed a connection.

The staff were absolutely wonderful, so kind and helpful, let me check in early which was amazing cause I'd had such a long morning of travelling. The room I received was a lot better than I expected and was very comfy and suitable for the purpose of my stay. Very good value for money would definitely return.
It is a bit dated, and the walls are a bit thin but with a old building it's bounds to happen. Maybe providing some softer pillows in the rooms as the bed only has hard ones (but I also didn't check with the front desk if this was possible, so that's kinda on me) the lighting in the room was also a bit poor as it was mainly lamps.

The location was nice and the hotel was quiet and clean. Close to many restaurants and a supermarket for snack runs. Staff was kind and welcoming, was never bothered while in my room.
I was in a windowless room and while the fan was able to keep me somewhat cool the fact I had no way to ventilate the room and get some fresh air in definitely made it uncomfortable towards the end of my stay. I would wake up from the heat in the middle of the night and open my room door in hopes it would cool down a bit. It wasn't that big of a problem as I knew what kind of room I was booking, but I would highly encourage the hotel works on fixing the ventilation and having the option of AC in the windowless rooms

Very clean and comfortable. The bed was only a small double (4 feet) - but still surprisingly comfortable. Staff very helpful. Useful that we could leave our baggage in storage after we checked out so we didn't need to trapes them around town before we left. Nice little bar area with a cheap cocktail deal on. Excellent central location
The only disappointment was regarding booking for breakfast. Although we said in advance that my partner was celiac, the hotel would not supply gluten free bread - as it was not worth getting it in for just one guest Not sure how all the other hotels in the uk manage to provide this that we have stayed in? So obvs we did not book breakfast on our arrival. Surely if they're getting £20 for two extra breakfasts it's worth getting this in? Just didn't seem to make either good customer care sense, or good business sense? Don't forget to factor in the cost of parking - we paid £15 for 24 hours - and quite a distance from the hotel

I've stayed there before before Covid. It's located in Picadilly. Hitel used to be a little tired and run down but has undergone refurbishment since I last stayed. I booked a basic double room without a window. On arrival/checkin I was offered a buffet style breakfast at £9.95 and told "if you take it we'll give you a room upgrade. The room had a panoramic triple glazed window. Bed comfortable. The breakfast hot and cold buffet eat as much or as little as you like.Fruit, Cereals, Toast, Preserves. Sausages, Bacon, Fried & Scrambled eggs, Hash Brown's, Tomatoes, Beans and Mushrooms. Tea, Coffee and fruitjuices. Excellent food and value. Price varies from day to day on Booking.com I paid £42 for the basic room. Breakfast and room upgrade £9.95. I'd recommend the hotel and Booking.com.

After reading the reviews I didn't have very high hopes for this stay. When checking in, the receptionist Aidan was very helpful and gave us all the sufficient information in a friendly and prompt manner. He also explained that if we paid for the breakfast upgrade, he could upgrade our rooms, which we happily agreed to. This room exceeded our expectations in terms of size and comfort, and allowed us a pleasant and comfortable stay. The location is also amazing, being right in the city centre.
Towels could be bigger, and the breakfast area should be open for a bit longer as we missed the small 2-hour window in which it was open, albeit for self-inflicted reasons - LOL!
