Addimora is a lovely little B&B in a very central location (immediately behind the Politeama theatre and very close to a stop of the airport bus / shared taxi drop off / pick up). The key attractions such as the Teatro Massimo is approx 10mins walk away whereas the cathedral is about 25mins. The B&B is located on the fourth floor of the building - there is a lovely historic lift although it is a little 'cosy'. The accommodation is really well decorated and is very clean. The rooms (Room 2 for us) have enough space for a double bed, wardrobe, chair and space for your case. The bathroom was very nice with a very good shower. The room was fine for a few days but might be more restrictive if a couple were staying in the room for a week. The B&B has a nice balcony which is where breakfast is served or you can just enjoy a glass of wine in the later afternoon sunshine. There is plenty of selection for breakfast - you order from an extensive menu (yogurt, cereal, cheese, meat, pastries, toast etc). You are restricted to 2 x drinks, 2 x sweet items and 1 x savoury - restricted feels a little harsh as if you were to order all five items there is more than enough food. One suggestion for improvement is to phase the serving of breakfast dishes - at the moment all the items could (and during our visit did on at least one morning) arrive at the same time so you end up being swamped in food. Service from the team was really good - everyone was very helpful. We would be very happy to stay at Addimora again.

Whilst the location is very central the immediate area around the accommodation isn't great with rubbish littered all over the place.

The location is good, not to close to the chaos of the night which is always appreciated but not too far from downtown. There are amazing restaurants just by walking distance from the hotel. The staff was 10/10, all of them were super kind. Our room was always cleaned, always had fresh water to drink and most importantly the home-made breakfast was delicious! They also offered us pick up service from the airport, therefore I would like to give a shoutout to their amazing driver Luigi! He gave us great recommendations and was super punctual. If we ever come back to Palermo we will definitely stay here again :)

I have no complaints.

loved the breakfast - lots of choices which was so nice and I loved being able to get eggs in the morning as well as the fabulous brioches. The one with pistachio was amazing!! I also loved how kind and warm everyone was serving breakfast. We were also lucky in that we could eat on the balcony every day as the weather was so great.

I didn't like the stairs to the room as I felt like they were steep and there needs to be a hand rail at the bottom of the stairs. we had heavy suitcases but thankfully we got them up and down the stairs but I would think people with mobility issues probably would have an issue getting up and down those stairs even without a suitcase !

Great location! 5 min walk from the main road with lots of restaurants, shopping and bars. Also very close to buses to other areas eg Mondello beach and the airport. The apartment was really big, split over 2 levels. Felt like we have a lot of space. The kitchen had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we had questions. The breakfasts were delicious and fair amount of choice. There's a shared entrance to the apartments, but it's still quiet - we were right by the entrance but didn't ever feel noisy/disturbed. Also very quiet for being so close to some main roads. A truly great find, would stay here again.

Nothing! We honestly had a great stay.

It was clean, the breakfast was good and special since it was made on the spot as by your order and was more than enough for us, the location is right on the main road (lines 101,102 will get you there from the central bus/train station) and most of all the hosts was super nice kind and helpful, answered our questions with a smile

The walls are pretty thin, we could hear when people in other rooms came in and out of the rooms and if they were load. But as of the nature of those actions wasn’t all the time and not when we tried to sleep

The BB is on the 4th floor of an old apartment building in not very clean side street (garbage and dog poo is a problem all over the city except a very few places). An historical elevator brings you upstairs. To get to your room you climb up a narrow staircase. Consider for the size of your luggage and as well when you have walking/ stair issues. The BB is furnished and decorated with lots of love for detail. The place is spotless clean. The staff in general is super friendly. The location is good to explore the city. Everything is in walking distance and I felt also safe as female solo traveler at nighttime. From and to the airport there's an airport bus. The stop is max. 3 minutes walking distance.

Unfortunately the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything your neighbours are doing and talking next doors. Some guests even don't care at all and have yelling conversations in the hallway. The neighbourhood in general is extremely noisy. There's a live music place close by and music entertains you up to 2 am. Coming back at night I missed an automatic light in the entrance entering the house. Unfortunately the roof window in my room could not get opened to let fresh air in. The owner has been aware but not able to get it fixed during my stay (one week) although I brought it up to his attention a few times.

Quirky accommodation, beautifully presented, and well located. Nice little communal balcony that you can sit out on in the evening with a bottle of Sicilian wine! Staff are excellent: welcoming, friendly and very helpful.

Lack of decent storage in our room meant that we lived out of our cases for 4 days which was t ideal. The old wardrobe looks ok but the door was rather rickety, and hangers in short supply. A decent set of drawers and useable bedside cupboards would be a great improvement on current limited storage options.

The property is ideally located - all major sights and attractions are within a maximum of 30 minutes' walk. I really like the interior design - the rooms and common areas are full of refurbished antique furniture, books and appliances. The best part, however, is probably the friendly and helpful staff. His approach to guests is exceptional, even by the standards of Southern Italy, famous for its hospitality. An added attraction is the opportunities to buy great souvenirs - the hotel offers a line of perfumes, inspired by typical Sicilian scents, designed especially for it. The next time I return to Palermo, I won't even consider other accommodation options.

Addimora is a fourth floor complex of 6 relatively spacious tourist rooms. The rooms, bedroom and bathroom, have been renovated and are modern with high ceilings and electric shuttered skylights, so feel light and airy. There is nothing but positives about the provided facilities; excellent aircon, fridge, safe, very comfortable bed. The bathroom is large, light and airy, with a large shower, bidet and nice towels. There is a guest kitchen and whilst eating in the rooms is not permitted, you can eat a pre-bought salad in the kitchen or on the patio, but you will need to bring your own cutlery. There is a large patio balcony with 6 tables and chairs where you can relax with a sunset drink (a bit hot until the sun goes down.) Breakfast is served on the balcony by some very friendly local ladies between 8.00 and 10.00, and there is a range of options on the menu. Addimora is very conveniently situated, only a short walk from a drop-off stop of the airport shuttle (very comfortable and only 13 Euro per couple compared to 50 Euro for an official taxi), Alfresco restaurants and the Piazza Castelnuovo. So any negatives? All the rooms are at the top of a short flight of wooden stairs so prepare yourself for a short struggle with your luggage. Other than that, a very nice experience, comfortable accommodation, helpful and friendly staff, and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

The property location was so perfect for everything we wanted to do. It was within walking distance of all that we planned, including a short walk to the location of our tour. The elevator up to the fourth floor was such a treat giving us a glimpse into the past. Our host was so very very kind and accommodating, even sending us with a bagged breakfast on the mornings that we needed to be gone early.

The staircase up to our apartment was not the type of construction we are used to. Might only be temporary. Other than losing water for one night, which may have been out of anyone’s control we couldn’t complain as we had everything we needed.
