Calm Clean Comfortable

There was no coffee machine in the room.

The check in process was easy. The checking out online was a welcome surprise. The outdoor open central space was a nice touch, not something I see very often.

The high density of the surrounding areabwas a little off putting.

Staff were friendly and the location was great. 10 minute walk to everything we needed in each direction - especially Times Square and pier 83. Bed was large and comfortable and the room was spacious enough for our needs.

The place is full of mirrors which is a bit off putting but especially the mirror in the shower?? Highly uncomfortable. The air con is a window unit that prevents the blinds from shutting so not only can people see in but there are lights on in the courtyard outside the room all night so you also can’t escape the light at night. We ended up getting extra towels and using those to cover the window. Air con wasn’t very effective, room was often still too warm. No signage out the front also super confusing when arriving for the first time. The glass pane in the shower wasn’t sealed properly so every time we showered water would go all over the floor, again we had to get more towels and basically permanently leave a towel there to catch the water.

I have stayed at this property in ALL of its names....(the OUT, CACHET BOUTIQUE, AND NOW THE HUDSON YARDS HOTEL). over 20 times since 2012 . Love the location, and what makes me always stay here is the Staff. They always welcome me to my NYC HOME. I cannot say enough great things about the staff and it is So reassuring and comfortable seeing familiar faces upon my stay. The Standout by far is Maria at the front desk, She is a gem and she will take great care of all guests. She cares about the guests, all of them, but more than that, she is "invested" in making sure the property/hotel meets expectations. She wants it done right, and works so hard to ensure that. I'll probably always stay here and cannot wait to get back.

The safes were removed from the rooms during the reopening and fortunately they did get one for me. You have to have a sure safe in your room.

The staff was really nice, and helped us with what we needed. There is a filtered water fountain with warm water, which was very convenient for the winter stay.

The hotel could be a lot cleaner. Our heater also broke the first day, and we got a small heater that was very loud, so we could not sleep as well, so our room was very cold the entire stay. We also stayed on the ground floor, and the street noise was very loud, but I guess that is NY.

Hotel was clean and in a great location for what we planned for our first visit to NYC. The staff was friendly and Terrence at the front desk was very helpful. The courtyard was a great surprise.

The fan in the room was very loud while running and the room temperature could not be adjusted. No phone in the room to call the front desk. Hotel NAME is not on the building. Use address to identify the place.

Clean place - originally got the booking wrong to share a double bed with a friend and the guy behind the desk went out of his way to sort us two double beds! Great guy and shame I can’t remember his name but he’ll see this (I’m the tall guy)!

N/A - ideal for a work stay for location

Great location. The rooms look out onto an internal courtyard so they are very quiet. Clean and comfortable. The staff sorted out any issues very quickly. Great service. Very reasonably priced for mid-town Manhattan.

All was good.

The staff were excellent, I loved the tea and coffee at reception, nothing better than a cuppa when me and my daughters got back from a long day sightseeing.

The property did not have a name and I wasn’t sure if I was at the right location. It was noisy in the morning when people were walking in the hall.
