It was well maintained. Helpful staff with a nice bar on property. Rooms decent size. Convenient location. Less than mile walk from grand central. Area close to many attractions and food choices!

There was a daily $29 charge and credit thing that was never fully explained. I did not opt for paid breakfast in my booking. Even so my overall charges were same as I expected. Also, They could use more staff in the bar/lounge area. I went down to get a snack around ten on a Friday night and it was messy & the one staff member was obviously overworked/overwhelmed. Even so she was still pleasant. I didn’t end up getting anything.

Yall descriptions was way off the room did not come with microwave & only certain rooms came with refrigerators.

The hotel is great, room a little small, bed very comfortable, everything was clean! Local transportation and restaurants are readily available, and there is a lot going on. There are a number of hotels in that same block - wish the sidewalks were in better condition, some of the store fronts were a little shoddy. Then again, this is NYC!

Upon arrival, I was charged a $29/per day mandatory fee which could be offset by bar and restaurant use during my stay. I arrived before 3 p.m., the room was not yet ready so I checked by bag and went out, returning around 3:30. I wasn't planning on using either bar or restaurant to begin with, but if I did it would have to be by midnight that same day. What I did do, from the bar, is pick up two bottles of water and a packaged snack totaling under $10. For people like me, who are staying only one night, why don't they extend the use time through check-out time (noon) the next day - I might have had breakfast there.

The location in midtown - close to everything and easy to get around. Lots of good eating options with Hells Kitchen a block away or plenty of eating places in all directions. Subway station only metres from the hotel and a short walk to everything a tourist wants to see, do and eat. The beds are super comfy and the room was perfect for our party of three adults. The daily credit spend of USD20 was a nice little bonus which encouraged us to spend time in the restaurant/bar area, watch some sport on the big screens and mingle with other guests. Staff were friendly, helpful and always willing to chat and ask about our day. When we checked in, Mike told us that if we needed our room cleaned, we had to let the front desk know by 10.00 am the next day - we did this every day while we were there and they did a fantastic job on cleaning our room! The car service to the airport was exceptional too! It was arranged in a few minutes by a conversation and the rate was very reasonable. Plus the driver was amazing! The service provided by all staff is exceptional, genuine and very accommodating. This is the second time we have stayed at The Distrikt and we will definitely come back again.

The parking! We unfortunately got charged and had to pay $100 to park overnight in the parking garage that the Distrik hotel validated for us -- This was very upsetting especially because I had asked at the hotel desk if we were allowed to keep our vehicle in parking ramp we were told to park in after we checked out of hotel- and the hotel representative said Yes- up to midnight- so we were super surprised to find that once your vehicle stays past 24 hrs in garage the hotels validation is void- We then had to pay $100 for 1hr 46 minutes past the 24 hour - if there's anyway you can repay us for that mix up that would be appreciated.

Perfect location for seeing everything that New York has to offer. Clean and tidy and the beds were really comfortable. The staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful.

I emailed ahead of our stay and asked for a kettle in the room. I got a reply saying that I should ask for this at reception when I checked in. I did ask at check in and the receptionist laughed at me, saying that they don’t have kettles for the room. Why then did the email reply tell me to ask for one? This was both confusing and un-necessary.

Lovely hotel went up for my birthday celebration Great and friendly staff who greeted us and checked Us in the bar was great. The attendance to the bar were great. The room was on the 30th floor. Great view. Very spacious room. Very clean. Enjoyed my stay very much. Will definitely be going back again

There's not one thing I didn't like. It was absolutely a great time and the location if I didn't say it already was great. Just minutes away from just about everything

The accessible shower was wonderful, the room was clean and comfortable and everyone was very nice. A great value

The neighborhood to the right of the exit was not as the left. Just need to be mindful to go towards Times Square

I had a great stay at this hotel. All of the staff was friendly and professional. My room was super clean. I was very comfortable in my room. The rug was very clean. The furniture was in good condition. The bed mattress was super comfortable. The air conditioner/heat was easy to regulate and was in excellent working condition. The water pressure of the shower was very strong. I loved the huge flat-screen TV. The location was perfect for me because I arrived at Port Authority Bus Terminal from NJ. The hotel is right across the street from Port Authority.

The only downside to being located next to Port Authority Bus Terminal is that it is a very high-volume area in terms of traffic and people. However, that's more of a NYC problem than a Distrikt Hotel problem. The hotel is a gem.
