When I checked in I was asked for a credit card to cover incidentals and a damage fee. When I checked out I was told the refund was issued and I should see the refund in my bank account in 7-10 days. It's been 6 weeks and nothing. Every attempt to contact the property leads nowhere. I finally was able to talk to someone in reservations who told me that the refund was never issued. Don't plan to get your refund because you won't. I'm just getting leads that end nowhere. I suppose they think you will eventually give up. Very frustrating. I won't stay there again.

The rooms where clean and very spacious. The Hotel was nice and the Staff was great. The location was very good, just 2 blocks from the beach. They gave you towels and chairs on the beach. If you plan to go to the beach, this is the best. The pool was small, but perfect, at least on the dates we went

Our rooms where on a second building in the same complex, with no elevator. Luckily we were on the ground level, but I had a big and heavy luggage. If I have to carry those for stairs, I was not going to be happy

I stayed at the Pestana hotel with a friend of mine for 5 days. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. There was a mini fridge in the room and a coffee maker. The toiletries included shampoo, hair conditioner, shower gel, and body lotion which was great as these are hard to get through TSA at the airport and buying the travel size is just pricy. Also toothpaste is provided for free but you need ask the front desk. There’s a hair dryer as well. The AC worked fine but it could get kind of cold when it’s set at 24C, and 25C was too hot. The location is great very close to the beach and to the main streets where shops and restaurants are. The pool seemed nice but it seemed as though no other guests really used it, so it was kind of quiet and private.

We were tea drinkers and there was nothing in the room to boil the water with although there were tea bags in the room, we had to ask for a an electric kettle which was given to us. Also there was only one chair in the room whereas it was a two bedroom room for two people, we stayed in for breakfast so one of us had to sit on the bed to eat. And the wifi was really weak in our room but it was ok every where else in the hotel as far as we tried

Location is fantastic - one street behind some great restaurants and walking distance from all the other streets and the beach. (Try Rosetta Bakery for breakfast!) I'm always picky about the bed and pillow but they are very comfortable. Staff is very friendly, goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay. A few staff members even remembered my name! Rooms are spacious and two free water bottles are provided daily. Can definitely recommend!

Walls are thin between the rooms and staff/guests can be noisy with closing doors. (I woke up several times at night/in the morning due to that) Can be easily fixed with a soft-close mechanism. Fridge/AC can be noisy at night but luckily they are easy to turn off and control yourself.

The staff was very nice and welcoming. They offered us a late checkout without even asking and allowed us to stay at the pool even after checkout. I felt safe at the hotel and didn’t have any problems with the accommodations.

It was nice and the rooms were spacious and clean. The pool area vending machine had the perfect selection of snacks to choose from and Breakfast at Orange Blossom was great!

The price was a little high and I might have liked to be a little further south to be closer to The Southernmost Point of South Beach. Other hotels offer free breakfast, I thought it was included for me but was charged about $35 when I left, maybe a clerical error that will correct itself. Also other hotels offer two free hours a day on the bicycles, so that may be a simple offering they could add to the benefits of a guest’s stay. That way a guest could borrow a bike and drive nearby and maybe have time to get lunch. Three hours free would be best, none of the hotels do that and it’s definitely needed if your not in the middle of Miami Beach.

The staff was accommodating and friendly. The location is great, 10 minutes to the beach. Nice pool with lights at night. Comfy bed, it was very clean, and the room was cleaned daily. I enjoyed 2 bottles of water each day. I could check in earlier and the staff helped me with my complex reservation.

The AC was very loud - if you're more sensitive, it would be hard for you to sleep at night - at least in my room. There's no elevator in the building I was staying in - but they offer a service to bring your luggage to the room and back; this was nice. The bar was open one day on Friday and closed on other days; I needed to understand the logic of its opening hours. But there are plenty of other bars around in the area, so no big trouble.

I’m a little late writing this review, I stayed June 20th-25th. This is my second stay at Pestana South Beach because I enjoyed the first time so much. The staff are excellent, special shout out to Danel, and the staff at reception including Mihala, Rachel, and Valery. I forget the name of the lady who worked at the bar during this time but she was lovely as well! Location is amazing and you get a beach voucher to a section on the beach with chairs and umbrellas. The service there was amazing as well, great partnership! Housekeeping was great as well.

My one experience with a nighttime receptionist who was a male wasn’t too great. But overall, great experience.

One of the most friendly and helpful staff even if English is not their first language. The pool was nice with good lounge chairs and never crowded. The complimentary flavoured water and sunscreen by the pool is always a great bonus! The room itself was clean with a modern bathroom even though it was really small. The private beach with two chairs and umbrella was perfect and only a 5min walk. The Resort fee was worth it here.

The room and bathroom were small but that looks to be normal for South Beach hotels, but it was still comfortable. The TV in the room only has cable which is passable, but the curtains in the room were really dirty and should be cleaned.

Art Deco hotel South Beach style. Very polite and helpful personel. The hotel provided beach towels and a set of 2 sunbeds and one umbrella at the beach 3 minutes walk from the hotel every day without extra charge. Coffee, tea and sweet snacks were offered almost all day long at the reception area. The location is very near to the beach and to nice restaurants and bars. 20 minutes walk to Ocean Drive.

No elevator in building 2. No balcony in our room, no way to open window, so drying wet swimwear was difficult. There was some sand at the botom of the pool.
